Poppa Naps BBQ LLC

We are so glad we hired Poppa Naps BBQ to cater our wedding!  The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the whole pig roast, which was absolutely awesome. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It left our guests raving and craving for more. In fact, we had friends and family who were so excited to eat the leftovers the day after the wedding we felt like we got another catered event! The sides offered by Poppa Nap's BBQ were as impressive as the pig and made for an altogether “wow” reaction upon seeing the buffet. The mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and had that comforting homemade taste. It was a crowd favorite and disappeared quickly. The coleslaw was fresh and provided a refreshing contrast to the rich flavors of the barbecue. The vermicelli was a unique touch and added a nice touch of variety to the meal, and was the bride’s favorite dish. And let's not forget about the peach cobbler. Do not skip this!! The combination of sweet peaches and a buttery crumbles was pure heaven. It was a delightful ending to the meal and left everyone with a smile on their face. This was especially enjoyed by the groom, who is notoriously unenthusiastic about desserts and does not give this praise lightly.   I do want to mention that if you have vegetarian and vegan guests, finding a viable entree can be a bit challenging. While Poppa Nap's BBQ excels in their meat offerings, options for non-meat eaters are limited to side dishes. It would be great if they could expand their menu to accommodate those dietary preferences- I am sure they would do it justice if they did a vegetarian meal! That being said, for everyone else who enjoys meat, Poppa Nap's BBQ is a stellar choice. The quality of the food is outstanding. The whole pig roast experience was so special and helped set the tone for a unique and unforgettable wedding. The pricing for such a cool experience with great food was, in our opinion, a steal. On top of the delicious food, the service provided by Poppa Nap's BBQ was commendable. The staff was professional, attentive, and presented a wonderful meal while rolling with the punches when we had major changes to our plans and setup due to severe weather. They were responsive to our needs and contributed to making our wedding day such a joy to remember. Poppa Naps himself met with us in person a few days before the wedding to run through all of our plans and make sure everything was prepared perfectly.  We were thrilled and honored when he joined us for a bit of dancing after dinner at the reception.  He runs a great business and is a lovely person to work with- pleasant, reliable, and high quality.   We would absolutely recommend Poppa Nap’s BBQ for any event.  We are so grateful to have had Poppa Naps, his team, and his killer food at our wedding reception which will be remembered fondly by many for years to come!

My husband and I had a micro wedding in Vegas. We chose Poppa Napps based on the glowing reviews and were not disappointed! The food was AMAZING. My husband is from the south and he said it was the best BBQ he'd had in years. Our guests raved about how delicious it was as well. The service was impeccable. Poppa Napp was friendly and timely. I would recommend any person looking for BBQ catering. You won't regret it!
