Poppies and Posies

We entrusted Poppies and Posies with many of the design elements of our wedding, thus negating the need for a wedding planner. While their services are not inexpensive, they were also not the most expensive we costed. The result was beautiful very complimentary over the decor and, especially, the flowers. We found the service highly professional, responsive, very helpful in guiding us towards decisions and just generally a pleasure to work with.

Juliet and Sierra are absolutely amazing! They're talented, easy to work with, and we were thrilled that our wedding turned out so beautifully. I had some strong opinions about the look of the wedding, and Sierra was able to incorporate all of my ideas, and create the perfect mood for our venue. My bouquet was the most beautiful I've ever seen. Additionally, our wedding was in NYC just a few days after Hurricane Sandy, and Sierra was so communicative to ensure that everything ran smoothly. I can't recommend them enough.

I can't say enough about these talented women. From our first conversation they listened to exactly what I wanted and translated it into a beautiful reality that captured exactly my vision. When I said I wasn't able to go with their original (very high) estimate, they were able to modify the order and come down to something I could afford--and didn't give me a hard time about it at all. They scoured flea markets for vintage coffee cans to hold the centerpieces, which looked so unique (they decorate our apartment now) and kept our fairly typical event space from looking like your average wedding. The bouquets were the perfect blend of romantic and elegant but also quirky. (They looked like they were plucked straight from an Anthropologie catalog.) Juliet and Sierra were true professionals along the way and delivered an exquisite product!

Juliet & Sierra at Poppies and Posies are absolutely lovely to work with and honestly visionaries in their art! They helped me every step of the way, enduring 4-page emails from me on a regular basis to determine exactly what I wanted in my wedding flowers. They ended up offering amazing ideas that we used - vintage milk cans for the vases, a huge array of wildflowers and green, flowering grasses in the centerpieces, just-picked bridesmaids' bouquets - such that my wedding day was absolutely and astoundingly beautiful! They are lovely to work with and do an amazing job. When I insisted that my ceremony be outdoors, and then the rain started POURING 30 minutes before the ceremony, they single-handedly disassembled the chuppah which took 2 hours to assemble, hauled it inside, and constructed a very nice replica under the circumstances in a mere 20-30 minutes. They're miracle workers!
