urch on a Sunday. She was prompt in responding, helping to communicate during the best times for him (AKA when I was not around), assisted in planning the perfect moment, and captured the moment perfectly. Following the proposal, we did our due diligence in shopping around for photographers, especially as we were getting married over two thousand miles from where we all lived, but nobody quite impressed me like Katie and Joseph. When reviewing galleries, I audibly gasped and looked to my husband in amazement. He informed me we were done looking at other photographers and were going to book Poppy and Vine. Throughout the process, Katie was accessible by email and text, providing keen insight on day-of timeline, shot lists, and honoring our priorities for our big day. Our major priority was not wasting our day stiff and posing in front of the camera, but rather having our day captured through the lens of our guests, friends, and family. My intent was for our pictures to capture the energy and magic of the day and they did! Day of, Katie was a calm, unwavering anchor in the storm of preparation and getting-ready and was able to keep our day flowing. None of the moments felt unnatural, forced, or posed. We received our sneak peak within the week, and our full gallery well before our contract's quote. Katie and Joseph are wonderful, fun loving, hilarious, relatable, and the kind of people you want to spend the best day of your life with. I'm so happy that on the other side of our wedding, they are now our friends whom we get to share the rest of the days of our lives with, not just the wedding day.

We had several meetings leading up to the big day, which helped us build a strong connection. By the time the wedding arrived, it didn’t feel like they were just showing up to take photos—it felt like they were stepping right into our story, ready to capture it exactly as we had dreamed.
What made them exceptional wasn’t just their photography skills, but how they made us feel. The day never felt like a photoshoot. Instead, they helped us stay present, savor the emotions, and reminded us that this day was all about us. Whether it was giving us a quiet moment alone to soak everything in or gently checking in to see if we wanted to keep taking sunset photos or rejoin the party, they consistently prioritized our comfort and our experience.
We’ve already received sneak peeks—and we’re absolutely in love. Every image reflects the joy, emotion, and magic we felt that day. They captured it all perfectly.

Throughout our planning process, we appreciated their professionalism, but also that they invested the time to build a relationship with us. They were easy to communicate with & shared such valuable resources with us, whether we were talking over email or meeting in person over a glass of wine.
By the time our wedding day came around, they already felt like friends which made us feel so comfortable and able to truly be ourselves in front of their camera. They did such an incredible job of capturing the joy & love we felt during our day; even months later as we look back at our photos we feel like we’re brought right back to that moment.
They seamlessly navigated our wedding day, including multiple venues, large bridal parties and even larger families. We weren’t the only ones impressed by them, our guests loved interacting with them and have not stopped raving about how gorgeous the final photos turned out.
