I'm giving Amy and her team two stars because even though I didn't receive what I asked for they made it pretty. Diy is not allowed whatsoever. I feel like I had to provide the majority of my floral for her because she couldn't find them hersel...

f. She also didn't inform me of this till it was to late to back out of the contract leaving me scrambling and scared. I told her in email and with pictures what I wanted. I wanted a loose, wild, cascading bouquet and received I tight bouquet with colors I didn't ask for and my main flower was buried to the point I didn't see it at first. As I was walking down the isle it started falling apart as well. The corsages were all wilted before the ceremony ended.

people know what I made. (The reception was filled with faux flowers when we arrived, but we ignored it.) That situation really bit me very early on in my career. From the beginning, as it's written in the design plan that you signed, "They'll also bring us magnolia leaves and pods that they'll collect from family properties and bring to the studio on Monday, the 9th, at 9:30AM." We reviewed this plan during our final design plan review as well. I'm sad that you forgot. But when I asked if you were bringing them via text, I said that it's ok if you don't have time and we had plenty of items to work with. When ordering flowers, we don't always get what we ordered. That was the case with your succulents. I was aware and we were working on getting a mixed variety as we'd discuss. As you could see from the wedding, we had a beautiful mix. I'm sorry that you saw the succulents in the studio before we had gotten more. And I'm sorry this scared you. It's a normal weekly occurrence in the flower world. And hopefully you noticed that bc of that, you received twice the number of succulents than you paid for. I'm glad you appreciate the decor's beauty. As for the bouquet, magnolia leaves, magnolia pods, and succulents do create a stiffer look because they are stiff. But there was no mention of a cascade at any point during our discussion. It wasn't noted in an email nor in the design plan, nor during our conversations. The bouquet in your design plan as inspiration was not a cascade. I know things change and it's easy to forget whether you got all the details to every vendor. As for color, I'm very confused because you only had white blooms with the green items. I wasn't aware of any other color that you wanted. As for the bouquet and corsages quality, I'm at a loss. I was out of the studio for a conference one day and for my daughter's hospitalization another day. Something must've gone awry in my absence. I'm so very sorry. Please call me to discuss so I can perhaps figure out what went wrong. I hope you're enjoying your honeymoon and wish you all the best.

Amy created beautiful floral arrangements that really suited the vases we had and the reception venue! The corsages etc were all designed with a really good eye. You can trust Amy to make things look good.

I have taken classes under well-known designers such as Amy Dunlap, Holly Chapple, Susan McLeary, Hitomi Gilliam, Ariel Dearie, Mikey Putnam, Naomi Demana, Kelly Perry, and many designers who are members of the NC State Florists Association.
