Melissa was one of my absolute FAVORITE people to work with in this whole wedding process. I never thought I would really care much about the flowers at my wedding, and working with Melissa definitely changed that! Once the week of the wedding came, one of the things I was most excited to see were how the bouquets and centerpieces came out. Melissa is truly truly talented- and helped pull together my vision flawlessly. Really- I can't stop looking at the photos of the tables and my bouquet. She was so wonderful to work with, and kept me calm and smiling during such a crazy process. Thank you x1,000, Melissa! You made our wedding day so incredibly special.

Melissa was truly wonderful to work with while planning my daughter’s 2018, October wedding! She is truly gifted as s floral designer. She listened to my daughters ideas and offered suggestions to tie everything together. All of this was done long distance with one face to face meeting. The results were gorgeous! So happy with the choice we made!

SHE WAS AWESOME! She was super nice to work with, as soon as we told her what we were thinking, she immediately could figure out our vision. She was so fun to meet with as she would show us pictures and flowers of what she was thinking so we could give her our thoughts about what we were thinking for the wedding! She even helped us with some of the cake stuff, we showed her our caketopper and she made sure we knew to make sure the cake was big enough (which we hadn't even thought of). But she was so nice and on the day of, she was so helpful in making sure we knew how to hold our bouquets and helping the groomsmen with the boutonnieres! I couldn't have dreamed up better flowers! Everything was exactly how I envisioned it, I loved loved loved my bouquet so much! The groomsmen's boutonnieres were perfect as were the boutonnieres for the grandfathers, and the fathers! The corsages were wonderful for the grandmothers and mothers! She also put greenery on the sweetheart table and on the favor table as well! Everything turned out so beautifully, I would recommend Melissa to anyone!

Melissa is a true artist! Wedding planning can undoubtedly be stressful, but Melissa was able to take some of the stress away for me by bringing my vision to life in terms of our floral arrangements and bouquets. She truly listens to what you want and need and her passion shines through with everything she does. She's very knowledgeable of what types of flowers and greenery will be most likely available and she pairs colors and creates the most perfect designs. I've received so many compliments on all of the arrangements from the day of our wedding at Old Daley - and I continue receiving them even 2 weeks after! (The mantle piece left everyone speechless!) I cannot thank Melissa enough for helping me bring my dreams to life and creating the perfect backdrop for our wedding day.

Mellisa was absolutely wonderful to work with and our wedding flowers were stunning! We had a very detailed consultation so I was very confident the flowers and decor were going to be exactly what I wanted. She also sent a sneak peak of my bouquet a day before just to make sure I liked everything. Our wedding flowers and decor were beautiful and more perfect than I could have imagined.

Melissa is AMAZING. She brought exactly what I was envisioning and more to our wedding day. My bouquet was beyond beautiful and all of our decorations were so romantic and elegant. We cannot thank Melissa enough for the stunning and extraordinary floral arrangements she created for our wedding at Crooked Lake. She is extremely easy to work with, listened to our ideas and executed them perfectly! First and foremost, Melissa is an absolute creative genius. Her work speaks for itself but she is also so sweet, energetic, bubbly, and easy to work with. She is SO passionate about what she does and it really shows. My wedding theme was spring, so I knew I needed the flowers to be perfect. I took my wedding invitation design to Melissa when we met to finalize my proposal and she LITERALLY brought my invitation to life. My intention was for my bridesmaids to have blush dresses but when they came, they ended up being more peach. I was very concerned about this because I didn’t want a peach color scheme. Melissa somehow made the flowers work perfectly with the dresses while highlighting the actual colors that I wanted for my color scheme. I don’t know how she did that because I was sure that blush and peach would only clash, but the way she put the colors and textures together was absolutely brilliant. The way she was able to capture my vision was unbelievable and seeing my beautiful bouquet will forever be one of my favorite parts of my wedding day. I just can’t say enough about my experience!! Go with Poppytree! You will NOT regret it! :)

Melissa was the best person I could have asked for. I was planning this wedding on a budget of basically $0, and had a foggy vision of what I wanted for flowers. Just before I fully made the decision to buy grocery store bouquets, I reached out to Melissa at Poppytree to see what she could do. I’m a few hours away and put all of my trust in her hands. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Melissa is simply all you can ask for in floral design. I had a very specific vision for my wedding day and Melissa brought it to life from color palate, to flower type, to arrangement shape and size she covered every detail- even the candles and succulent favors were fabulous. She went above and beyond in every aspect of the day. When I requested flowers that were only in bloom in summer for my fall wedding because they were my grandmothers favorite she incorporated beautiful dried versions knowing how important that small thing was to me for my day. She happily helped me and my flower girls and my bridesmaids all get fresh blooms into our hair the morning of the wedding as we were getting ready. Her energy is infectious, you can tell Melissa really loves what she does. Paired with her creativity and eye for composition you can't ask for anything more. I would recommend her to anyone. Really made our big day ours !

Melissa was absolutely amazing to work with. She was quick to respond and took time to sit down with us and listen to our vision. Words cannot express how amazing and talented Melissa is. I first met with Melissa over FaceTime when researching vendors and I immediately loved her energy and passion for floral design. Melissa did my wedding in April, and I can't tell you how unbelievable her work was. She was so accessible and helpful throughout the planning phase, always just a call or email away. She asks questions and really takes time to make sure she understands exactly what you're envisioning - from colors, to flowers and greenery, to vases and table settings - every detail was perfect. It's been over a month now, and people still tell me how blown away they were by the decorations - and Melissa gets 100% of that credit. There are so many things Heather and I could say about Melissa and Poppytree Floral. Our entire wedding was based around "the meaning of flowers". We researched many florists in order to be sure that we found the one who could make our vision a reality. Melissa was 100% the right choice. She took our requests in stride while helping to shape our vision into something palpable and doable. She brought our dreams to life. Melissa was highly recommended by our venue, and we could see why. Her designs are absolutely beautiful, and set the stage for our winter wedding. From the start, Melissa was great to work with. She gave great suggestions, while at the same time taking into account our personal preferences. Her prices are also very reasonable considering the level of detail and artistic talent she brings to your wedding. I would highly recommend her.

Melissa was phenomenal to work with. I am not a big flower person and frankly left it in her hands and she did a wonderful job, exceeding expectations. I gave very little direction as to what I wanted, because frankly, I didn't know. She pulled together all the ideas and I trusted her to go with it and I am so glad I did. I could not have picked better options myself. Melissa from the very start was an amazing, approachable, friendly person!! She was excited about my vision and made sure that everything I requested matched and looked unique. I am allergic to most flowers so I was on the search for a succulent themed decor, she was the VERY FIRST florist that was excited about this theme. Everyone else I met with was very iffy about it. She made everything look SPECTACULAR, and I recommend her to everyone!!

We met Melissa at a Bridal Show and from the moment I met her, I knew she was the right person to work with. I wish there was a better way to describe her work than the generic words "creative, and talented". She was easy to talk to, and was able to decipher what my vision was from pictures I had found on the internet and by my description of what I like. She had wonderful suggestions for how to make our ceremony space look and how to create unique arrangements for the reception. Her personal service was a blessing, she came and set up the flowers and checked in with me. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL and were better than I could have even imagined! I can't wait to book her services again, because it was such a great experience from beginning to end!

Melissa is a life saver! About a month before our big day, we had a falling out with our florist and I was in panic mode looking for a new one (not to mention we were planning our entire wedding from SC). She was able to squeeze us in with no problems and work with our rather modest budget. She was a lot of fun to work with (even though it was over the phone and through email) and made it stress free. We didn't get to actually meet her until about 5 days before our wedding, but I knew we would end up with beautiful flowers just from all of our conversations and photos of her previous work. She is incredibly talented and we couldn't be more happy with our flowers.

Everything was beautiful. Melissa was able to make my vision come to life. She took my ideas/colors and didn't just copy what I had shown her. She was very familiar with our venue and knew what would work. She did our bouquets, centerpieces, created our Chuppah ( and reused the flowers from it to decorate our head table).

We were a little late in the game when deciding on flowers, and by late, about two months before our wedding. When we met with Melissa, she didn't even blink an eye, and was just so excited to do a winter wedding. We came in with a few ideas about what we wanted, and she took those ideas and made them ten times better! The bouquets, boutonnières, and other floral decorations were gorgeous! She was very willing to work within our price range, and made sure that all the floral pieces she ordered were put to use at our venue. We would absolutely use her again!

Melissa and Poppytree Floral exceeded our expectations! Seeing Melissa's work ahead of time, I was so excited to work with her. Her passion for floral design can be seen in her work and our wedding day was no exception. If that wasn't enough, she such a pleasure to work with.
