Popular Demand was one of the best vendors for our June 3, 2023 wedding at Charles Krug Winery. My husband and I knew we wanted a band for our wedding as music is so important to us. After doing a ton of research and reaching out to a few bands, the stars aligned, and we found Popular Demand. From the get-go, they were super collaborative, helpful, organized, and brought the best vibes. Melyssa did an amazing job as our MC and the band had the best set list. They were open to our ideas and feedback, and helped us with decisions such as our first dance, father-daughter dance, etc. We wanted special covers for those two dances and they made our wishes too with the most beautiful covers we could have ever imagined. They are true professionals and we were so lucky to have them be a part of our big day. We still receive compliments about our band and we are looking forward to following them around Northern California as groupies now. Thank you, Popular Demand Band!
Other than marrying my wife, the 2nd easiest and best decision I made for our wedding was booking Popular Demand. They were incredible! So easy to work with, communication was fantastic. The energy they brought was unreal! 3 straight hours of funk and horns and incredible voices. You could not ask for a better wedding band. Book them!! You will not regret it!
Hands down this band made our wedding night! Melyssa was so easy and fun to work with and responded to all questions and emails very quickly and was so fun and very professional. She sent over a list of songs to review and even let us s pick a few other song requests that they practice and learned prior to the wedding and played for us! The love and the energy out on the dance floor was so apparent and each of the band members were so great and they all sounded so wonderful. The bass, the guitarist, the sax, the trombone, the keyboard, the drums, the vocalist - it was all seriously so perfect. They DJed and did the sound for the ceremony and did all the MCing and announcing, it was all so perfect. If you are even slightly thinking about getting a band, we highly, highly recommend booking Popular Demand, you absolutely will not regret it!
I saw this band at a wedding of a friend. I assisted with the planning, including working with the band. The experience with Popular Demand was completely effortless with no surprises. Booking went quickly and smoothly, no strange requests (i.e. no bowls of green M&Ms needed) and performance day was perfect! Setup and teardown were conducted quickly and unobtrusively. But most importantly: The performance! Perfect in all regards. It's obvious this band has a chemistry most don't. That really comes through. The Band was respectful when appropriate, and really turned the party up when the guests were ready. Couldn't have asked for anything more! Thanks so much!!
Popular Demand is 100% the band you need for your event! I happened to see them play at the California State Fair last year and was HOOKED! My friends and I did not expect to party at the fair, but they played SO MANY amazing songs that had me & my friends dancing all night! That night I decided Popular Demand HAD to be the band at our wedding so I booked them as soon as I could. Unfortunately, our wedding got postponed to next year because of all the Covid-19 stuff, but the band has been so supportive and flexible with our rescheduling needs, and Melyssa has been super easy to work with! She has been doing an amazing job communicating with us throughout the whole process and has really taken the time to get all the details exactly right so we don’t have to worry once the big day is finally here. We are bummed that we won’t be able to have our wedding as originally planned, but we are so excited we’ll still be able to have Popular Demand as our wedding band! I’ll review again after the big day, but I can pretty much guarantee that I will only love this band even more!
My fiance and I were really excited to book Popular Demand! We loved their sound/style and all of the services they have to offer. Our wedding is currently scheduled for October of this year, but with the Covid-19 stuff going on, it is up in the air whether we'll be able to have our wedding on the intended date. The band is being super flexible and allowing us to hold our "backup" 2021 date with them, in case we have to reschedule last minute. Booking this band has been one of the easiest parts of the wedding planning process and they have been extremely easy to work with, especially during all of this uncertainty. Based on the booking process and the communication we've had so far, we are really looking forward to having Popular Demand as our wedding band!
OMG, I have to post this review!! I heard about Popular Demand, and saw their stuff on the web, but really didn’t know exactly how amazing they were until I had them perform at my wedding reception! The entire band was super friendly, each one of them took time to get to know us and interact with us, our wedding party and our guests. They even accommodated all of our silly, odd requests, even learning new songs just for our special day. Popular Demand completely took the time and attention to detail to work our color scheme in with their sensational outfits. The music was appropriate for all guests with all tastes. They really pumped up the group to party and all we hear now is that they were a huge hit with all of our friends and family. We lived on the dance floor since it was on fire the whole night. I am 100% sure we couldn’t have picked a better band for our reception and would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, accommodating, party starting group. Their services were truly special and made for the best wedding of 2020! Thank you Popular Demand for making our event perfect!
Popular Demand was the perfect choice for our wedding reception! The band was super friendly and accommodated all of our requests (even learning new songs just for us). They looked the part, and even took the time to blend in to our color scheme with their amazing attire. The music was really a hit with all of our friends and family and the dance floor was on fire the whole night. I couldn't have picked a better band for our reception and would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, prompt, party starting group. The music quality was out of bounds!
