The Port Chapel and Port Hall are located in the beautiful historic city of Port St. Joe, Florida. Port St. Joe is a small, quiet town along the pristine, uncrowded sugar-white sand beaches of the “Forgotten Coast” of Florida. The perfect place for a destination wedding. The beautiful chapel was built in 1940 and has been carefully preserved and is decorated in a minimal style to allow its beauty to shine through. The chapel still has its original stained cedar walls and beamed ceiling which is draped and adorned with chandeliers. The Chapel can hold up to 80 guests with space remaining onstage for the wedding party and officiant. There are many photo opportunities inside, on the chapel grounds, in the beautiful parks that surround the area, or even from atop the historic Cape San Blas Lighthouse. The Port Hall sits adjacent to the Port Chapel and can accommodate events of up to 100 guests. Like the Chapel, the Hall comes completely set up and ready for you to enjoy your special day. The decorations are minimal and tasteful, but beautiful. The Hall has everything needed for your wedding. Tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware and glasses. It is equipped with a large stage that has audio and visual equipment. Bartending packages and vendor referrals are available to enhance your experience. The area has nice accommodations for a comfortable, relaxing stay, and high-quality dining as well as raw bars and Bar-B-Que joints. There is so much to explore here including boutique shops, weekend markets, the beautiful Port Theatre, sunset boat cruises and so much more. At sunset the town comes alive with music filling the air from the various open-air restaurants, bars and nightlife venues, most all within walking or biking distance. The Port Chapel and the Port Hall are booked as separate venues, however if you would like to reserve them together, we offer a generous discount. It is also a great option in lieu of a beach ceremony as Florida weather is often unpredictable. It is highly recommended that you reserve your date early. This is a very unique venue unlike any others in the area.
