Our families also spoke so highly of the quality of food, service, care, and all around atmosphere. My wife and I HIGHLY recommend Porta for your special day!

and the rest, they took care of. We had both the ceremony and reception at Porta and were a little worried about everything being in one room. It all went so smoothly the day of and the outdoor space provided a lot of extra space. Chandler had amazing communication right from the start and answered every question I had. Each member of staff we encountered displayed the utmost professionalism while also being incredibly kind. The food was leaps and bounds above what is traditionally served at weddings. We truly had the time of our lives and a lot of that is due to Chandler and the rest of her team at Porta. Thank you!!!

was the best wedding they have ever been to. We thought they were just saying that, but the amount of times and people that say it we know it's true. We fell in love with Porta back in 2018 when they opened one in Philadelphia and when I realized they were a wedding venue I did not hesitate. For starters the food, everything is made to order and is some of the best Italian food you will ever have. People still talk about the food and how good it was. All the food that is left over too you get to take home... we were eating our favorite food for a week. Win Win! Chandler and the day of team are some of the best people to work with! They made everything so easy, the venue was beautiful and they made sure we were taken care of all night. From beginning to end everything was amazing and we could not express how lucky we are that we found Porta Asbury Park. Best night of our lives!

cial place for us so when it came time to plan our big day, and we knew we would be having our big day at the jersey shore, Porta was the first spot we thought of. We know we made the right decision. The day of was handled so well; Chandler and the amazing folks at Porta helped us so much along the way and were so well prepared for a wedding; you can tell this isn't their first rodeo. From the decor, to the food, there was so much for guests to talk about before, during, and after the wedding. Would recommend them to anyone looking to have a distinct but intimate wedding, birthday, anniversary dinner, you name it!

Elizabeth and Peyton have the party down to a science, ensuring everyone is where they need to be and everything being served at the perfect time. The bar and food service were exceptional. The only hiccup was needing to specifically request a food tasting? But how can I harp on that? We got the tasting and had the most delicious food everyone raves about. It was everything we wanted and more.

We had multiple guests remark it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding - and we couldn't agree more. Their pricing is affordable too - especially considering the location right off the boardwalk! Cannot recommend Porta enough as a wedding venue.

The staff conducted themselves with professionalism and took care of all of us from start to finish making sure we had everything we needed and always a drink in our hands! Our wedding was on the smaller side (100 people), but the venue could easily have accommodated more guests. I would highly recommend Porta to everyone!

On our wedding day, Peyton and Elizabeth were so attentive!! They constantly checked on me and my husband, bringing us the appetizers, water, etc. The entire team took care of it all and we were able to dance the night away under the awesome disco ball installation. The food was to die for! Every single thing on the menu was a hit, including the cake! Honestly, everything about Porta was flawless. The team does a perfect job of taking care of everything for you. All you do it show up, eat, drink, and dance! Thank you, Porta team, for everything!

The service was EXCEPTIONAL, the food was amazing and abundant, the drinks were delicious, and that wedding cake was hands down the best wedding cake I’ve ever eaten. We got the chocolate on chocolate ganache and white cake on white chocolate ganache. Both were outstanding. The space was perfect for our 96 person guest list. We loved the outdoor area that opened up where people still had access to the giant bar. Chandler, Peyton, and Elizabeth were extremely friendly and efficient. We highly recommend this venue.

There was no need to coordinate logistics with multiple vendors on our own. There was even decor and simple floral arrangements included in the package which turned out beautifully. Overall, we did not have to worry about a single thing-the Porta team had it all in hand. Because of their work, all we had to focus on was being present with our guests! Again, we could not have had a better experience, and we would recommend Porta for your wedding without hesitation.

The floral package, ordered through Porta from Jersey Shore Florist, was gorgeous. Everything came together so beautifully. This team of people really knows what they’re doing. We’ve gotten nothing but compliments from our guests and had nothing but fun all night long. Can’t recommend Porta highly enough as a venue.

helping us achieve exactly what we envisioned for our day. Living in CO and planning a NJ wedding sounds difficult, but not when working with Porta. They have awesome packages that give you the option of getting florals, decor, cake, etc. all through them! Cutting out so much time and energy looking for other vendors and making the day of so much more organized because one vendor is handling practically everything. During our reception, we felt very taken care of and attended to by the staff. The food was phenomenal, per usual, and our guests could not stop telling us how delicious everything was, especially the Cacio e Pepe. We had a perfect day and it was in large thanks to Porta and the team. I would love to relive our wedding over and over again.

Chandler was beyond helpful from our very first interaction, answering any and all questions, sending photos of previous events for reference, and a huge help in finding the right solutions for our budget. It really felt like a one-stop shop for anything we could have needed, and we had opportunity to add on decor and amend food and drink selections 2 weeks before the party when our guest list was finalized, so the flexibility ended up being a huge benefit for us in terms of deciding our final budget + where we wanted to save (smaller food package that ended up being more than enough) vs splurge (adding a flower arch behind the sweethearts' table, which I would highly recommend). The in-house florist they use (Jersey Shore Florist) was also incredibly accommodating in answering questions and it was the perfect balance of communicative but autonomous which fit our needs perfectly. We were able to feel confident that with minimal direction the end result was going to be beautiful and I'm happy to say that we were correct!

Chandler was a great help getting things organized in advance and the day-of staff (shoutout Peyton and I think it was Elizabeth - Big Star for the win!) were incredible. They made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. Beforehand, we were able to select cake, decor and floral packages directly from Porta to avoid having to coordinate multiple vendors. Day of, they took care of beautifully arranging all the specialized decor we dropped off, catered to some dietary needs and packaged up all the leftover food in convenient to-go boxes. Really, the staff - from the bartenders to the kitchen to the event coordinators - works like a well-oiled machine. It made things incredibly carefree for us. Plus, the Abbot Room makes for some really incredible and unique wedding shots. Wouldn't trade our wedding there for anything!

I knew I did not want a banquet hall vibe and needless to say Porta is everything, but that. From the service, to the food, to the amenities and vibe everything was absolutely perfect. Chandler provided excellent insight and was accommodating to us when requested. The venue itself stands on its own with quirkiness, but we were to integrate our vision of bright colors absolutely seamlessly. All of the food was fantastic, but the Cacio e Pepe was the dark horse of the evening (seriously do not sleep on it). I loved that I did not have to worry about additional vendors because Porta comes as a whole package - food, sound system, and bar (honestly for everything that we got and did not have to worry about it was steal). We had the added bonus of having the cherry blossom trees in full bloom, which made everything extra special. It was evening that our friends and family are still talking about today, thank you for everything!

It was truly the best day ever, and Porta could not have been a better choice for a venue. 11/10 – I wish we could do it all over again!

e thing that was super awkward was they put the appetizers out before the ceremony starts so as the vows were being said I was distracted because out of the corner of my eye I saw people stuffing their faces with cheese and by the time the ceremony was over, none of the bridal party got any apps because they were standing up there with us and the people at their tables ate everything. One other thing was a that 9pm end time comes around way too quick and I wish I had started the wedding at least an hour earlier since it couldn’t be any later due to the club. Dinner ended around 7 and they started dessert at like 7:30/8 so there didn’t seem to be much time for dancing at all. Overall very happy with our choice to have our wedding at Porta. The atmosphere and food are incredible. I wish we got to experience it as guests, it must have been amazing walking into the room for the first time not knowing what to expect. So happy we got married in time to have the ridiculously beautiful lights above the dance floor!

ded to have a smaller wedding and were planning to get married 6 months after getting engaged, and all we wanted was 1) a beautiful space 2) GREAT good and 3) good drinks. As I’m sure most brides know, planning a wedding in that short amount of time is nearly impossible and I got laughed at a few times when inquiring with other venues. I actually held off on contacting Porta because I thought there was no way they’d have an opening for October 2021! Boy, was I wrong. Not only was Chandler kind when she responded, she gave me options for dates, set up a walkthrough and made everything so easy for me to understand so that if we decided to move forward, I had everything I needed to know to take care of the next steps. Meeting her (and seeing my husband’s reaction to the space) basically sealed the deal, and we signed our contract the next day. Chandler made our entire planning process so easy, worry free, and she was so on top of everything, and was very patient with all of my questions. For the day of our wedding we worked with Peyton and Elizabeth, who were just as wonderful, and really took care of all of the little details that are often under appreciated. We worked with a planner Jaqies Events for our decor, but we also tapped Porta and their florist, and it all came together so beautiful. I cried when I first saw the space… thanks to my planner and the wonderful team at Porta, it really was the wedding we had always wanted. Lastly, the food and drinks. Let me tell you, my one biggest regret is that I barely got to eat at my wedding! Bless my MOH for chasing me to give me bites to eat, but for future couples planning their wedding here: take time for yourselves to eat. All I heard about for the next WEEK from our guests was how amazing the food was, that people were asking for seconds and thirds if they were still available, and everyone took home leftovers (side note: Elizabeth - thank you again for being the most attentive coordinator and packing up our leftovers because you saw I wasn’t able to sit down and eat!). I did get to enjoy the dessert and our cake (which they make in-house), and the signature drink we selected for our wedding! If you needed a sign to have the perfect small wedding here, this is it. I wouldn’t change a thing (except to actually eat more since the food was so good!), and I cannot thank Chandler and her team enough. She helped make our dream wedding a reality. ❤️

The day was perfect! Joelle was great to us, everything went so smoothly and we are so grateful that we did not have to worry about anything. They even allowed our close family friend to play the bagpipes during the reception which was such a special touch to our night. The room looked beautiful and everything was setup just as I had requested. All of the staff along with the food was awesome. We got married back in April 2021 and our guests are still raving about the food and how much fun they had. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a unique reception and fun party vibe!
