Burnie was extremely personable leading up to the wedding. The night of our wedding was absolutely amazing. Burnie was truly amazing. He played a combination of songs and everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. My husband and mother in law did a special dance and he did an amazing job with the mixture of songs. Portable soundz was a great choice to have for the DJ of our wedding. We had DJ Ethan and he was amazing! There was some last minute changes unfortunately but he wrote it down real quick and had it all taken care of for us. He was so nice and always had a big smile :D They also had amazing effects!

Jared DJ'd at our wedding and we HIGHLY recommend him/Portable Soundz. Through every step of the process there was communication, flexibility, and clarity. PS provides a detailed wedding list to be filled out before the wedding. We met with Jared and broke down our requests and shared a list of guest requests with him. He and his assistant did an AMAZING job creating a flow to the event, meeting requests when needed and providing great advice and music where we didn't know what we wanted. At the last minute we shifted indoors to avoid the weather, and Jared was very accommodating and got set up without any issues at all! You could tell the crew knew what they were doing. Throughout the entire event we had wonderful coverage, and the playlist for the dance floor was incredible. An amazing flow of requests and classic songs, he kept it fresh and read the room well! If we did it all over again, we'd absolutely hire Jared again and recommend him and Portable Soundz highly to anyone looking for a DJ, you will not be disappointed.

The Portable Soundz team is awesome. We used them for our wedding reception in Lititz, PA in October and had a great experience - they were very responsive ahead of time and had a very expansive questionnaire that allowed me to truly customize every part of our ceremony/reception. He was flexible and truly just a great DJ - everyone at our wedding had a blast and still raves about how fun it was and how great the music was. He also worked with me to allow me to bring my own background to hang up for the photo booth they brought, which was very much appreciated. 12/10 would recommend!

Great DJ/MC/PhotoBooth! They did a fantastic job providing music for our Ceremony and reception. Our guests loved the photo booth (and the book of photos we got were awesome as well!). Burnie was great when we booked, answering any questions we had. Then Johnny (the DJ for our wedding) spoke to us several times to make sure everything was lined up for the ceremony and reception. We were very satisfied with our service that we received from this company. Burnie was super friendly, we were very eager to meet him. His set up was perfect. You get a huge back drop, lots of props, and the cutest book filled with all of your guests pictures. I’m happy we went with him for our photo booth because now we can look back on our special day whenever we want. Not to mention he was very helpful, we ended up having issues with our lighting guy from a different company and Burnie brought extra lights for us just in case we needed it. From the whole process, beginning to end, Burnie was a phenomenal DJ! He took time to understand our expectations and the environment we wanted to create for the reception. Having a full dance floor was one of our top priorities and Burnie kept it packed for 3 straight hours! He knew just the right songs to play to keep it going. Burnie and his team were a huge hit at our wedding in August 2021. We used them for Dj, uplighting, ceremony music and photo-booth. He was professional and timely in his responses to us. We met with soooo many Entertainment providers and Burnie was definitely the best choice. He was down to earth and great to bounce ideas off of. He played all the music we asked for and added some song that meshed well with our playlist (which we wanted him to do). Everything went to plan and his team worked great with our other vendors. As for the photo-booth, saying my guest loved it would be an understatement. My family still talks about how much fun they had. We decided to get the package with the photobooth, which we highly recommend. The photo quality was excellent and it was a great way to have our guestbook. We found Portable Soundz through our venue on a recommended list of vendors, and we are so glad we chose them! Burnie and his team were a hit with all of our guests. May people overlook the importance of a DJ, but if you love to be on the dance floor like us, this is an important choice. So many guests said how much they loved the music that was played throughout the night. My husband and I were married on 2-20-2021 we hired Burnie and the Portable Soundz team for our wedding. We had a photo booth, up lighting, and a monogram. Burnie was super professional and personable from the start. We had had to change venues 30 days from our wedding date due to covid. I told Burnie the new venue and he contacted them right away. I did not have to worry about anything! During my wedding the ballroom looked gorgeous with the up lighting and the monogram! Bernie made all my musical dreams for my wedding come true. I got married at Stoltzfus homestead and it was the best day ever. I put a lot of thought and meaning into the songs for my wedding, which meant I had a lot of specific requests. I even requested a few songs be cut at different spots to make them shorter but still have the lyrics that meant so much to me. Bernie worked with me though the Covid virus craziness and it was flawless. I had no stress or worry about the music aspect of my wedding day and it went exactly as I imagined. From the perfectly played entrance songs, to the worship songs during the ceremony, dinner music and then of course the dancing. He played the songs I requested and despite not too many people dancing due to a smaller wedding and many not being the dancing type, those who were dancing had a great time and the energy was awesome. After all the thought and time I put into picking those special songs for my wedding I was so happy at the end of the day with everything Bernie did. My wedding video is amazing as I have all those perfect songs playing, memories I will cherish forever!!

I honestly could not recommend Portable Soundz more!! Not only were they the best package with the most perks in our price range, but from start to finish they went above and beyond what we needed for our big day. So much so that I never once even thought about them the whole day because it was all under control. Our venue had a strict noise ordinance to stick to and they handled it with ease giving us the perfect last song and memory I'll never forget. Our wedding also had a few unexpected bumps along the way timing-wise and our DJ (Nate) came to us with only suggestions on how to proceed not questions on what to do, so our guests (and sometimes even me, the bride) never knew about any of it! If you're looking for a stress-free, professional, and laid back night of fun for your wedding you're in the right place!!

He gave us as much freedom with the song choice as we wanted which we really appreciated. The day of he threw in additional lighting free of charge which I thought added a lot of the ambiance to the reception. The sound was great throughout the day- not too loud and not too soft. The whole event went off without a hitch and Burnie had great transitions throughout the night. We highly recommend Portable Soundz!

Portable Soundz was the perfect DJ for our wedding at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens. Burnie was very easy to work with and shared in our enthusiasm for the event. Prior to the wedding, he made sure that we had the music during all parts of the event organized to ensure a flawless stream of entertainment. He took the time to find out our favorite styles of music and “must-play”songs. Even songs we didn’t personally request fit our wedding theme perfectly thanks to him! He did a beautiful job of providing music for our ceremony and an even better job at the reception as the MC. He clearly knows how to read the room and plays what the dance floor wants to hear. Multiple times throughout the event, he stepped down from the DJ table to check up with us and make sure everything was going perfect for our big day. If I were to ever get married again (hopefully not lol) I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Portable Soundz again!!

DJ Burnie with portable soundz was a gem to work with. He was easy to work with and very knowledgeable. On the big day Burnie and Jordan did a great job and everyone had a great time on the dance floor. You can't go wrong with Burnie or any of the portable soundz team .

Portable Soundz and DJ Johnny were absolutely AMAZING! Knowing how crucial it was to have the right DJ at our wedding, my wife and I were super particular... form the minute we met DJ Johnny, we knew he was our guy! He went above and beyond our expectations during the planning process... from our initial meet and great to the venue visits to the countless calls, we couldn't have asked for him to be more accommodating. The day of the wedding, he ensured EVERYTHING was perfect. Our friends and family still comment about how much fun our wedding was and how the dance floor was packed all night. DJ Johnny kept everyone moving all night long and his MC work was some of the best I've ever heard. The absolute highlight of the night for me (aside from getting married to my beautiful wife) was being able to end our night with the encore... As an impromptu tribute to our favorite band, we wanted to end the wedding the way they end their shows... we ran up to the DJ booth to ask DJ Johnny if this was doable... without skipping a beat, he pulled up the song and began blasting it through the sound system (which sounded great BTW)... our friends circled up and sang along for a picture perfect end to a picture perfect day. With all the stress that comes along with wedding planning, DJ Johnny was not one of them... I couldn't recommend him or the Portable Soundz team enough!!!

My husband and I loved working with Burnie from Portabke Soundz at our wedding!! He was easy to work with, went above and beyond, and made sure to incorporate all of our favorite music into our special day. I would highly recommend him and his team!

Burnie was wonderful to work with. He helped us with everything that we had asked for! we had some family health issues which made us have to change our wedding date, and Burnie gave us no trouble what so ever and said whatever we needed he was going to help us with! we gave him no restrictions(except clean songs due to kids being there) on the music and he kept the dace floor filled with people having the time of their life! people still to this day rave about how awesome the music was. there is not a single thing that i would haved changed about our experience with portable soundz! i would recommend portable soundz to any event that needs a DJ or any kind of music!
