Lovely town and friendly atmosphere

We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding after party at the Portola Hotel and it turned out great. The hotel has many space options for various sizes of parties and many of my wedding guests stayed at the hotel and enjoyed their stay. Their amazing breakfast buffet was enjoyed by my friends and family the day after the wedding!

We had a great time in Monterey Bay, California. The Portola Hotel & Spa was very nice. When they found out we were there for our honeymoon, they gave us free parking for the 4 nights we were there. That saved us quite a bit of money! September was a pretty time to be there and the natives said we went at the best time because the fog lifted and it was nice and sunny :)

I would definitely stay at this hotel again for the location and price. It is 5 min walk to downtown Monterey Fisherman's Wharf. Staffs are friendly, rooms are nice and clean, and spacious, all with nice views! Parking is very easy and they even allow pets!
