Portraits by Allison & Corey

I have known Allison since high school, and when I found out that she was starting a photography business, I began looking at the photos of her work on Facebook, which were absolutely beautiful. At the time, my (now husband, then fiancé) and I were looking for somebody to take engagement photos so that we could send out our "save the dates" and we contacted Allison immediately because I was so impressed with her work! Allison was willing to meet us anywhere that we wanted to take the engagement photos and they came out so great that we created a "save the date" card with four picture slots because we couldn't choose only one or two to put on the card! Everyone raved about the engagement shots when they saw them on facebook, and we loved them so much that we knew we would have Allison do our wedding photos as well! When we started making arrangements with Allison to do our wedding photos, we got an unexpected surprise-- we were told that it would not only be her shooting our wedding, but her fiancé, Corey, as well! I could not have been happier to find out that we could afford two really great photographers, and we set plans in motion right away! Leading up to our wedding, Allison and Corey were great about remaining in contact with us and even came over to our apartment one day to discuss all the details of the wedding-- she even had a list of all of the photos she expected to take and allowed me to add photos to the list, which made me feel so at ease because I felt that I did not have to ask her to get any shots at the wedding, she always knew which ones to look for. The day of my wedding went so smoothly and Allison and Corey were, without and doubt, the best choice that I could have made for photographers. They obviously work so well together because they are a couple, but their photography styles compliment each other as well-- Allison is an amazing portrait photographer, and loves taking pictures of people, while Corey is great at taking candid shots of people and shots of objects (i.e. flowers, wedding rings, etc). Together, they got every shot that I could have asked for down to the last details of my wedding day! They were also there to capture every single special moment-- anywhere action was happening, they were there with their cameras, but were NEVER intrusive... the photos really show how much they captured, but I hardly remember them being there to take many of those shots! One thing that they did for both our engagement and wedding photos that I loved is that they asked if it would be okay if they post a "teaser" on facebook of the photos. On the second day of our honeymoon, Allison posted 70 photos of our wedding on Facebook, and everybody was in a frenzy about how beautiful they were-- It was amazing to see those pictures so soon, and I loved all of the compliments that I got about the photos from the big day! They delivered (almost 3,000) pictures to us on DVDs when we came home from our honeymoon, and since then, I've had a blast looking through them and reliving my big day. It is so great that they let you keep every shot they take because most wedding photographers only choose a certain amount and don't let you see the rest-- and other photographers charge way more for fewer photos! Bottom line, Portraits by Allison is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you so much for everything Allison and Corey! You have a great career ahead of you!!
