ided to get married in Charleston, even though we live in NYC. I am a total control freak / obsessive planner, and the idea of looking into someone else to help with the planning was NOT an easy decision for me – but we decided it was necessary since we would only be able to make 1 or 2 trips to Charleston during the planning process. We came across PPP initially through online reviews, and then mentioned by an acquaintance, so I gave Ashley a call. From the second we started speaking, I knew we needed her in our planning process, and that she would be the perfect person to help us with all of our wedding day needs. From Day 1, she answered every single one of my random questions instantly, took each of my calls and countless rambling emails, and treated me with importance, even when my wedding was many months away. She had the perfect suggestions, helped me make some tough decisions, and met with us multiple times during our trips to Charleston to meet with other vendors. It was easy to put my parents at total ease as well, as soon as they were able to meet her and see how fantastic she was. As the pressure and stress started to build as we got closer to the big day, Ashley helped me realize what was important, what to delegate, and what was not worth worrying about at all. She ran errands for us before we arrived, accepted packages on our behalf, and truly went above and beyond for us in every sense. When we got to Charleston for our wedding weekend (only two days in advance), she took total control and made sure that we were not left doing anything that she could do for us – I did not have to worry about a single element of our large Welcome Dinner event, or the timing of our entire wedding day. If anything was late or delivered incorrectly that weekend, I sure did not know, and still do not know, thanks to Ashley! She juggled so many schedules, locations, and vendors for our large bridal party and 130 out-of-town guests, ensuring that my husband and I had the absolute time of our lives from start to finish. She is so experienced in every aspect of wedding planning, and has the perfect balance of Southern charm and attitude to make sure things go absolutely flawlessly - it was easy for me to hand over control increasingly throughout the whole process, and we trusted her completely with everything we had worked so hard all year to plan. Melissa assisted her on our wedding day, and she was the perfect addition as well – working with the Posh, Petals & Pearls ladies was the best decision we could have made, and we cannot thank them enough for helping us execute the wedding of our dreams! You will NOT regret working with them to create your perfect wedding, I guarantee it!
