onsultation, and because of his Photobooth option which is more customizable than others we saw and he was able to negotiate a great package for both services. We were initially a little nervous beforehand as, unlike photographers and other wedding vendors we could not see the work beforehand and had to trust his experience and reviews but we were so glad we went with him! Kris was professional, experienced, and very smooth in transitioning the wedding guests from the different events (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, etc.) We trusted him to come up with a great albeit unconventional way to get people on the dance floor and it worked. My husband noted that he didn't see any person have to go up and request a song, he kept the music pumping out and kept us on our feet until the bitter end! I sent him pictures of the invitations/thank you cards we used and he was able to use the custom colors and designs for the photobooth strips. One of our guests said it was the best photobooth they had ever experienced, and we have the book with all the strips to enjoy as we used it for our guestbook. Kris is talented and experienced, knowledgeable, and clearly has a passion for his work and I would encourage others to trust his experience with their own events!

floor full and we don't want slow songs until the end of the evening. Kris did just that. From the first song after the father / daughter dance until the last song of the night we had a full dance floor. Positive Energy has you fill out a list of must have, nice to have and extra songs prior to your event. All of our must have songs weren't played but we didn't even notice until after our wedding when we were thinking through the details because Kris kept the dance floor full. We also hired Positive Energy to provide the up lighting and the photo booth. I would recommend Positive Energy (and esp Kris) for any wedding.

Our music selection requests were quite long and extensive and if yours are the same, I would definately encourage you to work very closely with him to prioritize/underline/highlight the songs which are most important. There were several songs that didn't get played that we would have liked that may have encouraged more of the older folks in attendance to get up and dance.
Overall, he was a great guy to work with and would definately recommend him to friends getting married in the San Diego area.
