Leslie was a fantastic officiant at our wedding. She was very organized, thorough, listened well and answered all of our questions. She was our clear favorite of our vendors and was the most consistent in communication.

We feel so lucky to have had Leslie as our wedding officiant! Working with her was a joy. She had us complete a form with insightful questions, carefully reviewed it before our meeting, and then dove even deeper with more thoughtful inquiries during our meeting. Leslie crafted a beautiful ceremony that perfectly reflected us, and we eagerly anticipate reliving those heartfelt words when we receive our wedding video.

My husband and I were blown away with Leslie’s care, helpfulness, & attention to detail as our petite wedding coordinator. We constantly brag about how our big day was absolutely perfect! Leslie wrote our custom ceremony and officiated our wedding this past August. Leslie was wonderful to work with! I was surprised how personal she was able to make our ceremony after only meeting with my husband and I over Zoom a few times. She is an excellent listener and incorporated all of our opinions and ideas into the ceremony - it felt very personal to us! Leslie is also very easy to communicate with and did an excellent job leading the ceremony on our wedding day! I would definitely recommend her to others!

Leslie was amazing! She met with us on Zoom multiple times before our wedding and really got to know us. We felt the spiritual but not overtly religious ceremony she curated for us was exactly what we wanted! She also included multiple personal stories and quotes from our conversations into her speech. She also sent us her speech prior to our day so we could approve or suggest changes (we approved exactly as she suggested without changes). She also provided a library of quotes/ poems that we could choose to include or we could suggest our own readings. She held the book for us to read our vows from so we could hold hands which was perfect. Would 100% recommend, she will make your day so special. We also got many comments from our guests about how great the ceremony was and that was thanks to Leslie!

We absolutely loved working with Leslie on our wedding journey. She officiated our civil ceremony in summer in her new Positively Charmed studio space in S. Minneapolis, as well as our bigger wedding in November 2022. She was so sweet and thoughtful and brought alot of great experience and advice to consider during the wedding. The personalized ceremony (and her sample poems and readings) were fantastic and so heartfelt. Her decor selection and eye for design was very apparent. She is a pro and knows what to do in order to best help create a memorable day for a couple. For our bigger wedding, Leslie created a fantastic arch with our wedding colors/flowers, as well as wonderful table decor of succulents and greenery in terrariums and they were just perfect. The various candles she added on the tables made such a romantic touch! My husband and I highly recommend working with Leslie for your wedding needs. She knows what she is doing and brought a calming presence to our wedding party.

Leslie was fantastic!! I had very little ideas of what I wanted for my bouquet but she made it even better than I imagined especially for the fall season! Everyone that attended our wedding raved about her speaking at our ceremony, they said she was so calming and soothing and didn't rush it at all. She made everyone feel relaxed and happy to take in the moment.

Leslie was truly a savior for my wedding day. She put many of my worries to rest and was always just an email away. On the day of the wedding, she made sure things went smoothly. Without her I am positive I would not have felt as comfortable as I did and the day would not have gone so flawlessly.

Leslie is absolutely amazing. We started working with her about 6 weeks before our wedding date and she went above at beyond to personalize our small ceremony. Leslie officiated our backyard wedding recently and she was FANTASTIC! We met with her pre-COVID at her office, and she made us feel very welcome and open. She really took the time to learn all about us, our families, and our story (during the free consult, too!). We booked her immediately after our first meeting. A few months went by until we met again via Zoom, and she hadn't forgotten anything about us. She personalized our ceremony so well and really helped us think about unique things that come with a backyard wedding at your own home. We didn't do a rehearsal, but she made sure our entire wedding party understood their roles on the day of and made sure everything was in place and organized. She has a knack for what she does, and it is evident she truly loves her job. We would highly recommend her!!

Leslie did a fantastic job with our micro ceremony! Her site was informative and inviting, and she was a pleasure to work with. Not only was she very respectful and understanding of our wishes for safety during COVID and our personal preferences, she was extremely accommodating when we had an unexpected injury that required us to postpone our ceremony for a month. She even spent a holiday morning with us to work with our schedule! She does a great job of getting you know you as a couple so that your day feels very personal and catered to you. She also has great insight on aspects you might not have otherwise thought of. She is very welcoming and professional, and I would highly recommend her for your wedding, big or small!

Leslie took the time (and was genuinely interested) to learn our story, our important family relationships, our preferences about how the ceremony would unfold, and everything else an engaged couple might have concerns about going into their big day. In fact, if there was any specific piece we were overlooking, she made sure to ask our thoughts, and offer ideas for how to run the ceremony more smoothly and more thoughtfully for the guests, as well as our selves. Leslie has a way with people that will make you feel like you've been friends with her for years. Leslie is amazing! Hands down, my wedding was 10x more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. The decor was exactly what I was looking for, and the flowers exceeded my expectations! Working with Leslie was one of the easiest decisions for our wedding. Our first appointment with her went really well and we felt comfortable with her right away. We were really impressed at our second appointment when she had our ceremony written, and it only needed a couple little tweaks. In a consultation with Leslie, one will feel that she is a psychologist, a profound author, a theologian, and a very dear friend, all rolled into the same human being. Leslie officiated our wedding ceremony in December of 2018. She was the perfect woman for the job! We found her on The Knot and chose her based off her experience working with couples and family that are a mix of religious & nonreligious. We wanted to stay true to our thoughts and beliefs while still accommodating our families more religious nature. We received great reviews from our families as well; everyone was very pleased with the ceremony and loved how personal and special it was. Leslie was a joy to work with from the very beginning. The process of hiring and scheduling was very easy. But more importantly she had a special way of making us feel at ease and opening us both up to a beautiful conversation about our relationship. After our initial meeting with her my husband and I both felt like we had been through an uplifting therapy session. Fun Fact: Leslie also officiated my dad and stepmom’s ceremony in Duluth, MN in 2013. Something we didn’t realize until after when booked and had our first meeting with her!

Leslie truly made our daughter’s wedding special. She helped us create bouquets and boutonnieres during a fun brunch where the wedding party, including groomsmen, took part in putting together their arrangements. She brought everything that we would need and was the perfect combination of leader and encourager for our big group. She also helped decorate for the day of the wedding making sure the focal point for the ceremony was as beautiful as we’d imagined. She went above and beyond coming to help take down, too. We cannot even describe how much we loved working with Leslie! We worked with her for our wedding for a custom ceremony and our premarital counseling sessions. Wow. Leslie was simply amazing! We met with her for an initial consultation and found ourselves talking with her for almost 2 hours. You can tell she truly loves what she does. We originally were interested in her because my husband and I have slightly different beliefs on religion, (which stressed me out in regards to how we were going to perform our wedding ceremony) but she made us realize that no matter what our beliefs, we could still have a beautiful and meaningful ceremony that made us both feel comfortable. After meeting her we decided to see her for some pre-marital counseling that she offers as well and we could not be happier that we did it! She gave us "homework" to practice at home that we are still using months later! Best of all we now have someone we can turn to if needed in the future that we are very comfortable talking with. Back to the ceremony, she prepared a beautiful personalized script for our ceremony that she let us read over beforehand. It was amazing to hear what she had gathered about us as a couple that we didn't even realize! We decided to write our own vows, and Leslie read them over before the wedding to make sure that they weren't too different from one another. She gave us advice for the wedding day such as tucking away for 10 minutes of alone time after the ceremony, and making a plan for guest greeting so we didn't get pulled away from each other. She truly thought of everything! All evening our guests were raving about how beautiful and personal the ceremony was, that they have never witnessed one so intimate. Your search for an officiant should stop here!

Where do I even start...Leslie made our ceremony more personal and filled with love that I could have ever imagined. My husband and I are not very religious and wanted our ceremony to reflect who we are and how much love we have for each other, and Leslie was able to give us that and so much more! During our first meeting, before we had signed any contract, she sat with us for almost two hours getting to know us and our story. She has an extensive knowledge in premarital counseling, theology and religious studies. Her background gave us a perspective on marriage I didn't expect. We went through several premarital sessions with her before the big day and it was worth it! She dug deep into our history and gave us ways as to how we can work even better together. On our wedding day, Leslie was very professional, calming and genuine. Our ceremony was completely customized, and our friends and family absolutely loved how personal it was to my husband and I's relationship. We decided to write our own vows as well and Leslie gave us several tips and tricks for getting the best results. All in all, our day was truly about us as a couple, and I couldn't have been more pleased with our experience with Leslie as our officiant. She was perfect!

After we left our meeting with Leslie, I thought she was so quirky & funny! She was lovely to talk to and really helped us customize our wedding! She took the time to get to know us and was really accomodating when we had some changes; She was quick with emails & we did our pre-maritial counseling. My husband and I had a small wedding and most of the vendors involved (venue, food, cake, photography, flowers) were either close friends or friends of friends. The officiant was the only role we weren't able to fill from among our close circles. We spent just 1.5 hours with her in preparation, and from that she was able to create the most personal, beautiful and intimate ceremony of our dreams. Leslie was an absolute joy to work with throughout our wedding planning process! Leslie was a fantastic officiant and florist for our wedding! I definitely recommend working with her! We had the Semple Mansion as our venue and it was really convenient to work with Leslie, since she has an office in the mansion! Working with her as our officiant, she let us know all the details that we needed to know way ahead of time so then we could have everything in place like our Marriage License! She also understood what our love meant to each other, and she wrote up a wonderful ceremony that fit perfectly! On the day of, she lead the rehearsal well and explained everything so our wedding party knew exactly what to do! Working with her as our florist, she understood our vision for our flowers and came up with excellent ideas to match our theme. Our theme was "Elven Woods", so she picked a fantastic collection of moss, ferns, and some succulents. Her rates were also not too bad compared to other florists. For us, there was no transportation costs (which I think some florists charge) because the mansion is her office! The candles and other pieces that she had were great and made the day feel magnificent! Leslie's attitude has always been a supportive and open one! She has been so flexible in changing plans or themes for either the ceremony or the decorations! It has really been a pleasure to work with Leslie on our Wedding day and I strongly recommend that future couples check out what she has to offer!

Our first encounter with Leslie, was at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for The Great Wedding Get Together. After talking briefly with her, we both knew right away we wanted her to officiate our wedding. Every time we met with her, she just makes you feel like we've known her forever. She really listens to what we wanted for the ceremony. Bonus, she also provided and decorated our ceremony space. It was absolutely beautiful! Leslie is the absolute best!!

As the first and only officiant we met with, we knew she was the right one for us, and she did not disappoint. I think back about that first meeting and find myself blown away by the level of detail she was able to collect. Since our wedding in July, we continue to hear from our guests saying that our ceremony was so special and fit us perfectly. One of my friends thought that Leslie must have been a family member because she seemed to know us so well! We will cherish the ceremony that Leslie put together for us for the rest of our lives. Choosing Positively Charmed was the BEST decision we made and I can honestly say that our wedding would not have been as wonderful without Leslie. She was easy to work with during the planning process, extremely accommodating with all of our requests (we had many), and kept us on track during our wedding day. We really enjoyed working with Leslie for our wedding. She helped us craft a very unique and individualized ceremony that really represented my husband and I. Leslie took the time to talk with us via Skype for two long meetings during the ceremony planning process which was helpful given we were planning from out of state. She also met with us in person a week before our wedding when we finally arrived to town to get to know us in person before our big day which was so appreciated. She was very organized and helpful throughout the entire planning process and provided us many suggestions and resources throughout our time working with her. She was a wonderful choice for us and we are still getting compliments on our ceremony which was a month ago!

Leslie was an absolute fantastic Officiant at my daughter and her husband's wedding last Saturday! It was such a lovely ceremony. Leslie captured and shared the spirit and joy of the special day and her message was just beautiful. Leslie was amazing at the rehearsal the night before the way she took charge, organized the group, and told us exactly how to walk, stand, hold our hands, etc. etc. The manner in which she communicated was so professional and orderly yet really made it fun for everyone (lots of laughs) and put everyone at ease! Leslie constantly had a smile on her face, very warm and welcoming, and you can clearly tell she loves what she does. The photographer sent my daughter and her husband a few preview photos from the wedding and I noticed Leslie made a point to step to the side for the bride and groom "kiss" shot because it was just the two of them in the photo. It is the subtle little things that Leslie did like that where you know you have a true professional who knows what they're doing! I can't thank Leslie enough! My husband and I worked with Leslie from Positively Charmed for our wedding day at Semple Mansion on January 14th, 2017. We booked Leslie for some of our decor in the reception venue along with her day of wedding coordination services. Positively Charmed has a wide selection of decor for any special event. Leslie is fun to work with and her passion for decor and design is evident when you work with her. Leslie blew away our expectations as a day of wedding coordinator and I cannot begin to explain how grateful we were to have her on our wedding day. Leading up to the wedding day was stress free because Leslie was doing all last minute coordination between vendors and even the wedding party. On the wedding day she was the point of contact for all vendors coming in and out of the venue with deliveries and ensuring that set up was done in the correct way. Leslie did an amazing job with the decor for my wedding. The theme of the wedding was medieval styled theme with old world glamour and by the time Leslie was done decorating the reception venue it looked like something out of a fairy tale. I highly recommend that brides check her out and see her inventory because she has beautiful rental pieces. She also works with your budget and gives excellent suggestions. She did an extremely thorough job and executed my vision perfectly keeping any eye on details which was something very important to me. Thank you so much Leslie!

They were great to work with! They had great Ideas for us to put together the perfect look for the Garden Wedding ceremony we were doing. We loved their flexibility to accommodate our last minute changes . The best part was the rental time frame is 4 whole days for the same price as most places charge to have just for 2 days. They have lot's and lots of choices to make your event as special and one of a kind!!

As the designer/florist for a large wedding (300 guests) and living out of state, Leslie was fantastic to work with. Her products selections were far beyond what I could have hoped for. Her attention to detail and customer services are top notch!!! Leslie provided delivery and assisted with set up as well as take down of the rentals. Her passion for "celebrating" each experience shows. I would highly recommend using this vendor for any décor rentals!

Leslie helped us add decorations to our wedding at semple mansion. She did a wonderful job!! She was so easy to work with, she stayed within our budget but without skimping on anything! She took the decorations we had already added her own touch and took it to the next level!! She did everything for our head table and it was stunning!! So glad we hired her, it wouldn't have looked so beautiful without her help!

I cannot recommend Positively Charmed highly enough - five stars is not enough. We had her decorate Semple Mansion both for the wedding and for a photo shoot we did two weeks before in vintage gowns - so each site we photographed fit the time period. She made the day so much more magical. She not only managed every item of decor we requested but creatively and beautifully implemented it all. Her collection of decor items is amazing. She was a delight to work with and I expect we will keep in touch.
