Jason and Tara are exceptional people. Not only they work really hard to make your party the best to can be, they do it with love! They went above and beyond in our wedding, and everything was perfect!! There is not one single person who did not complemented us about the food. Kristina, their event coordinator, was on top of everything that was happening in the wedding, and did an amazing job for the decoration and organization. Our day was perfect, thanks to those people who put their hearts and soul on what they do. Having Potions in Motion in your party is a guarantee success!!

Staff was friendly. Drinks were good, but got sweeter as the night went on. Other than that, the bar was priced competitively within the area and all services contracted were rendered as expected. I would recommend them.

I used Potions in Motion as the caterer by wedding reception as well as provide all of the rentals. They were absolutely wonderful from the moment we first started talking with them. I really appreciated how responsive they were to email and the many many questions I had along the way. My wedding was a destination wedding in Florida so I did not have the chance to have a tasting before the wedding so I took Jason and team's recommendations for what food would be the best. The food was an absolute hit!! Everyone love it. My guests were from all of the US and even those from LA and NYC who are used to really fancy weddings talked about how this was some of the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding. The appetizers that were the biggest hit were: -Sliced Filet Mignon with Wasabi Parsnip Potato Puree on a Crostini with Micro-Greens -Panko Encrusted Crab Cakes with a Roasted Chipotle Aiolo and Tri-Pepper (My brother in law only wanted to eat these all night because they were so good!) -Garlic Rosemary Butter-flied Shrimp with Dill Aioli -Asparagus Spear Risotto with Chives in Mini Martini Glasses (I almost took this one off the menu during planning and I am so glad we didn't) For dinner we had the live pasta station which was also really yummy (make sure to get the a la vodka). The staff was very responsive and very nice. They kept everything moving along at a great pace. They also packed up all of the food for us that was left over and we really enjoyed eating leftovers the next day. For the rentals we did have a slight error during the delivery with a few of the items being incorrect, but I gave them a call and they were back within two hours with the correct items.

I hired Potions in motion for my catering, bar, up-lighting, DJ and food rentals. I loved their responsiveness, professionalism and "make it happen" attitude. I received soooo many compliment on the food (get the steak) . The bar looked great and the staff was wonderful. This vendor was referred to me by my venue manager and I see why. I honestly can say I have 0 complaints. This was money well spent. Even the DJ was professional and awesome. It was also nice having access to the owner at any given time. Book them and you will not regret it!
