Welcome to Wedding on The Potomac! We are located in Fort Washington, MD directly on the Potomac River.
The Mona Lisa was simply a blank canvas before da Vinci coupled passion with his gift for making natural beauty come to life and created something timeless. That is what the team at Wedding on The Potomac has cultivated with our lovely waterfront venue. The natural backdrop of the beautiful Potomac River is breathtaking and will help you make your intimate event one that will create lasting memories.
We pride ourselves on offering an affordable and naturally stunning location that will serve as your blank canvas to create the waterfront wedding of your dreams! The secluded and expansive landscape is one that can accommodate you and your guests with the backdrop of the lovely Potomac River, boat docks, tall whispering trees, the brick paved walkway to enhance a grand entrance and so much more. The Great Room is the perfect space for brides and their bridal parties or grooms and their groomsmen to gather in preparation for your memorable union.
In addition, we do offer a package that includes 3-day use of the iconic Octagon House located on the same acreages of property. The zen you and your guests will experience in the huge home that has waterfront views from multiple sides, a huge kitchen and eating space, a screened-in porch, as well as a cozy gathering area with a fireplace, is surrounded by bamboo which appropriately is symbolic of longevity and growth.
If you thought beautiful and affordable could not co-exist, we are here to show you that it absolutely can! The team at Wedding on the Potomac looks forward to speaking with you about your venue needs.
