The makeup photographed beautifully and I know the Bride, Laura was just over the moon about her bridal look.

She listened really well to what I wanted/asked for while also giving her professional opinion to highlight certain features of my face or create longer lasting hair. For the wedding day, there was a bad accident in route to our venue that Katelynn was stuck in that pushed our timeline back by one hour. Katelynn was extremely communicative, calling and texting me updates as she got through it. Once she arrived at the venue, Katelynn absolutely locked in and was able to finish all of our booked services, making up for any lost time. I also ended up switching my eye makeup from my trial to something different for the wedding day and Katelynn absolutely killed it! I came back to the hotel the night after the wedding, took one look in the mirror and realized that my hair and makeup stayed the entire night, through 2 hours on the dance floor at 75 degree weather. Thank you Katelynn!!!

ne of my college friends used her for her wedding. While I could have booked Nicole for my wedding hair and makeup, she was unfortunately way too expensive for my wedding budget. However, I had two big priorities when it came to wedding planning: I needed an amazing photographer (CHECK!!), and I needed a really amazing makeup artist.
Nicole suggested I go with her contractor Lindsey, and not to downplay AT ALL the work that Lindsey does, but she was much more affordable. The contract and payment process was a bit muddy, and I could have used just a bit more responsiveness, but overall, I couldn't be happier with the end product.
Lindsey was an absolute joy to work with. During the trial, she really listened to what I wanted (erase that triple chin, girl, and make my eyes big!!!), and was able to create a look that complemented not only my dress, but the entire style of the wedding. When choosing a HMUA, my big goals were to (a) look amazing, and (b) still look like myself. I look at my wedding photos and know that I look like a really great version of my current self. She also made my sister and my mother look absolutely stunning.
She was certainly worth the price, and I'd go with her again in a heartbeat. I'm even trying to persuade my mom now to go and get haircuts from Lindsey. She has a knack for making you look elegant, and I'd love to see what she could do with my mom's hair.
Anyway, very talented team. I'm so grateful Lindsey was part of my day.
