The bar service was included and her team absolutely killed it on our signature drinks! Leading up to our big day, Ashley was so amazing and carried a friendly and energetic attitude throughout the process of creating a master planner, as well as coordinating efforts with other vendors like our day of coordinator, tenting and the DJ. She made sure that we had backup plans in place in case of rain (which happened!) and there was no lapse in the event timeline and everyone stayed dry amidst some intermittent showers on the day of. We really enjoyed the tasting, as well as picking out flatware and napkins, table covers etc. She really has the experience needed for soon-to-be newly weds to put their trust in her. The staff she brings along are an amazing team that prioritize the guests' needs and also resonate a friendly attitude. Everyone on the Power Events team worked to ensure our wedding met expectations, and in so many areas they exceeded! My wife and I could not recommend Ashley and the Power Events team more to anyone in the Philadelphia area. She was incredibly attentive and responsive with any questions or concerns we had during the planning process. As the date came closer, Ashley’s “Master Sheet” was an incredible tool to coordinate all the timelines with our various vendors and for us to refer back to from time to time as well. While Ashley was unable to be on site for our reception – Rina coordinated our day flawlessly from start to finish making sure nobody missed a beat. Now I can’t believe it has taken me so far to get to this part, but the food was incredible. From our initial taste testing over a year before, we knew we knocked it out of the park. Cocktail Hour & Dinner were both divine, with multiple guests giving us unsolicited feedback that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the potatoes au gratin. They are one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, my only regret is that I wasn’t hungrier. The food was only one factor in what Power Events delivered. The decor was neat, uniform, and elegant. The food that Ashley and her team served up for our wedding was perfect! I lost count of how many guests complemented the food, and let me tell you we had some tough critics in the crowd. She was also familiar with our venue, the Morris Arboretum, so we ultimately had very little to communicate directly with the venue. The food was absolutely delicious too. My go-to meal is always chicken, but Ashley’s food changed my mind. Her beef tenderloins were probably the best red meat I’ve had in my entire life and the cauliflower steak was so good that I actually ordered it as my meal for the night of the wedding. Everything else was equally delicious too, anything you get from Ashley’s team is going to be amazing. Her catering team was the absolute best too. They were the kindest and most helpful people. While I was waiting for my mom to bustle my dress, one of the servers saw me and stopped by to see if I would like one of the appetizers they were carrying. I was so hungry so it was so nice to get a bite of food before having to go interact with everyone. They also set everything up for the wedding, and it all came together amazing. They put together a plate of Hors D’Oeuvres for us at the reception, and boxed up the entrees from folks who didn’t attend (due to covid). You can tell that Ashley puts her heart and soul into making sure your event goes over smoothly, so I recommend being patient with her in the beginning and sending follow-up emails as needed. She prioritizes her responses for upcoming events- and is very responsive when it counts. Oh and she captured this great picture of my dad walking me down the aisle. Thanks Ashley!

It very much felt like Ashley and her team had our back the whole day and were committed to not only serving incredible food, but also giving us as stress-free a wedding day as possible. Ashley had another wedding that same day and managed to be there right before we walked down the aisle (and got some great photos and video!) and then came BACK to our wedding to enjoy the dancing and check in later on in the night. We had a designated server, Kat, who always made sure that we had a drink in our hand and food on our plate, even when we were on the dance floor. I must have asked for 15 glasses of water and they made sure I was hydrated and happy the whole time! The servers were truly wonderful and we felt lucky to have them there, along with our guests! And that's not even mentioning the quality of the food! All of our guests commented on how great the food was and even though we did a tapas-style event, no one was even remotely hungry. The food just kept coming! There was so much variety and we highly recommend tapas-style for couples looking for more mingling and less stagnation. Any couple, or anyone planning any type of event, would be so lucky to have Ashley and her team as one of their vendors. Ashley is a gem, a true professional, and she made us feel safe and secure about one of the most important parts of our big day, the food!

The day of was a whirlwind, but our guests left raving about the food. We knew they would, since we had had Ashley to our house long before to prepare samples of each and every dish we chose, as well as a couple of others she thought we may like. Beyond the food, the service was incredible. Ashley’s team took excellent care of every single guest at our wedding. We did a cocktail style, and they coped incredibly well with the fact most of our guests were always on the move. They also made sure to pay special attention to the guests who couldn’t be as mobile, and ensured they got every single dish they wanted. Somehow, in between all of this, Ashley and her team were able to make sure our other vendors ate, our parents were taken care of, our venue was decorated, and aided in buttoning up all of the final details. If given the opportunity to do all of this again, Power Events would definitely be our first call.

The presentation of each course was also wonderful! The first course was served in a martini glass, which looked very elegant. Not the typical salad bowl! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was top notch, from the bartender to the servers, to Ashley herself. Not only did Ashley manage the reception and dinner, but she helped coordinate the entire event. I could not have asked for more. I didn't hire a wedding coordinator but Ashley was there and took care of everything! Thank you Ashley for making the event amazing!

Every guest that I talked to after the wedding raved about the food and the staff, with many people saying it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. And seriously -- everything was delicious. We had to postpone twice due to the pandemic and Ashley was super flexible with changing our dates. She was also very encouraging along the way -- it was so nice to have someone like her on our side! Her team helped with setting up and breaking down our decor too. I really don't know how we would have handled our day without them and we were lucky to have Power Events as a vendor for our wedding.
