Power Sounds DJ Service

The Power Sounds team was SOOOOO spot on with the music! We held a call the week prior to the wedding, talked through the vibe we wanted and let them run from there. We told them we wanted our guests to party on the dance floor all night, and a party is definitely what we got!! 10/10 recommend!

We used Power Sounds Event Entertainment for our wedding day and from the ceremony to the reception, the music could not have been anymore perfect. The ceremony music was beautiful. We had several different songs that we wanted to be played for each different group that walked down and Matt did perfect in the transitions. We had so many compliments for the song list of the reception! From tejano to hip hop and everything in between there wasn’t a song where the dance floor was empty. From beginning to end, it was a blast! I 1,000% recommend Power Sounds for your wedding day!

Matt and David were very nice and overall the music at our wedding was great! Only giving 3 stars because they did not play all the music we gave them on our "must play" list - and this included a few songs with sentimental value. We were under the impression all those songs would be played.

The Power Sounds family is like no other! They were amazing for our wedding day! When we met right before the wedding, I told them that I wanted my dance floor to be FUN & FULL! They DELIVERED! They knew all the right songs to play to get people of all ages out on the dance floor! They were awesome at speaking during the reception as well to let guests know what was going on for things like dinner, dollar dance, anniversary dance, etc. They also did the ceremony music for us and it was beautiful! All the transitions were seamless. They are such genuine and great people. They would check on us during the wedding day to see if there was anything we needed. Their set up was also 10/10! Cannot recommend them enough!!!

Power Sounds is truly the best DJ service we could ever ask for! Music is every important to my husband and I and that’s why we knew we had to hire Power Sounds ASAP! They were on point with everything from ceremony music, cocktail hour music, dinner music, and reception music. They truly listen to everything you want/ envision for your special day! They are so easy to communicate with and respond very quickly whenever I had questions or needed to go over wedding details. Multiple friends and family have raved about Power Sounds and the energy/ talent they bring to any event. We love them and consider them like family!

BEST DJ EVER! Our guest cannot stop talking about how much fun they made our wedding! Our dance floor was full the entire night because of PowerSounds!! They played everything from George Straight to DMX and had every guest on the dance floor! We highly recommend them!!

Power Sounds is the best in the business! I’ve been to a few weddings in the past few months and I can’t help but compare the DJ to ours and all I can say is that Power Sounds is the best! They were so easy to work with from booking to wedding day and they ensured everything ran smoothly. THE BEST OF THE BEST!!! When I got engaged I knew the most important part of the wedding would be the music. The first vendor I had to reserve was Power Sounds!!! They are the best of the best and perfectly tailor everything. They are family owned and operated, which was really important to us as well. Now let me tell you, when it came to the wedding. IT WAS THE BEST! They crushed the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and mainly the reception. The dance floor was packed the entire time! They also brought out the most incredible additions - cold sparks sparklers and CO2 guns (WHICH WERE AMAZING)! I still have so many people talking about how they loved dancing the night away! If you want a packed dance floor the entire night - Power Sounds is who you have to go with!!

GOD SENT! Is what I can describe from David, Matt and Evelyn. My original DJ cancelled 3 days before my wedding! And my Wedding Planner Chantel told me about PowerSounds DJ. By the grace of God they just so happened to be available that day! I booked them two days before my wedding and I was speaking with them at 1:30am to talk about details. Our wedding day was so smooth, they were huge professionals and played a big part in our wedding! I didn’t have to worry about a single thing they kept the dance floor full all night! I will forever be grateful for them for saving my wedding and I keep recommending them to everyone who needs a DJ!

If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding, look no further! As well as many others, we had quite a few changes in plans due to Covid. Power Sounds was flexible with us for both our venue and dates changes. They were extremely responsive and professional and helped us through the entire process. The dinner music as well was reception music was perfect for our styles. My husband and I have very different tastes in music and they managed to play songs for both of us to ensure we were dancing and having fun the entire night! Planning a COVID wedding is nothing anyone could of been prepared for, but Power Sounds made it so simple and easy communicating virtually for 9 months until my wedding day! My husband and I heard Power Sounds at one of our groomsmen's weddings, Bryanna and Ruben Moreno, and we were overjoyed that they could celebrate with us on our special day! As a nurse on the frontline in this pandemic, Power Sounds helped everyone at our wedding forget that we were in a pandemic because we were having too much fun dancing the night away. As soon as we met David and his family we knew that’s who we wanted for our wedding! They are such a great family and helped us figure out what we wanted and need for music for our reception! They gave us helpful lists of songs to choose from for all the little times we hadn’t though about. Best of all, they kept the party going and had all of our guests out on the dance floor!!

David, Evelyn, and Matt were phenomenal in assisting us with our wedding day. Our dance floor was PACKED at all times and we cannot thank them enough for being so accommodating. They even sat with us during our vendor walk through and helped us plan out the floor plan to highlight our day as well as their services. You will not be disappointed with this family!

Matt was our lead DJ on our wedding day, and he did an amazing job! During our confirmation call before wedding day, we have Matt general genres since picking songs was hands down the hardest part of wedding planning for me. He did so well reading the room and keeping our guests on the dance floor without playing any cheesy wedding songs like the cha cha slide, the wobble, etc. I would definitely recommend Power Sounds DJ!

When we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19, David and Evelyn did everything in their power to ensure they would be able to service our new date. Evelyn is great at communicating and helped set up the final details call before our event. David was very thorough during our final call, ensuring that all of our requested songs will be played, and took note of which songs/bands we did not want played. The ceremony went off without a hitch, and even though it was outdoors his microphones for the pastor didn’t pick up the wind. At the reception, David was able to play a speech sent in by the best man who was unable to attend the wedding due to coronavirus. The whole evening had a great flow to it due to his MC skills and when he really got the music going the dance floor was on fire! I had several guests the next morning tell me how sore they were for dancing, I consider that a win! Also the DJ stand looks so cool and professional and the lights really added to the ambience of the party!

Power Sounds is amazing! It was truly a pleasure working with them, they're a small family business but you would never guess it based on how incredible their work is. They are very responsive and made the booking process so easy. Matthew killed it the night of our wedding and everything went just as we had requested :) all of our guests had a fabulous time. Power Sounds is the absolute BEST! My guests cannot stop talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor and Power Sounds is the reason for that! They read the crowd so well and every song choice was perfect at the perfect time! I had a specific song version I found on YouTube that I wanted to walk down the aisle to. I wasn't sure if they were going to be able to play that certain version, but they made it happen! I am so thankful we decided to use them for our DJ. They definitely made the night so fun and one that we will never forget!

Before I even got a chance to speak to Power Sounds I heard wonderful reviews from wedding vendors at the JW Bridal Show. Once I finally got around to Power Sounds wedding booth I knew that my DJ search had ended. Evelyn was so personable and answered all my questions at the bridal show and was so prompt with emails when booking. When my husband and I had our meeting to discuss music and order of events it felt like we had known the DePaz family for years. Planning our wedding music was so fun and the music & mixes they suggested fit the exact vibe we wanted at our wedding. On our wedding day Matt kept everyone on the dance floor. The transitions from hip hop to country to cumbias just flowed and we are still getting compliments from guests on the music selections and Matt’s emcee skills. Our wedding night was made with Power Sounds!!! We were clueless at first on songs to pick and what music we wanted played for certain entrances and your suggestions just made everything so perfect!!! Dj Power Sounds was great! Very nice father and son duo. The dance floor was packed all night. We were very specific about the music we wanted for cocktail hour and they were very accommodating and played our hand select list and also did a great job reading the crowd for other parts of the night! They were very fun and reliable and the night went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Power Sounds Event Entertainment was a great choice for our wedding DJ on 12/29. David and Matthew are a dynamic duo. They did an excellent job of taking music we enjoy and mixing in music that had the party going all night. Dave recommended an end of the night dance of just my groom and I as guests cleared out of the venue. I would tell any bride to go for it! It is a must. It is one of my favorite memories of the evening. We got to enjoy the last few minutes of the big day we had been planning for months to a song that meant so much to us. It was a very special ending to our magical day. Power Sounds stayed in contact with us throughout our wedding planning. Working with this father, son duo was so easy and so much fun! They did such an amazing job at being both our DJ and MC and they're extremely good at reading their audience. I know because the dance floor was literally never empty, and our whole wedding party had such a great time.
