Our wedding wouldn't have been a smash hit without Mario. Him and his team played hit after hit that had everyone out on the dance floor. Even the bartender who was a former DJ himself told us that it was the best wedding music he'd ever heard at the venue. Mario also did our ceremony sound and was able to adjust on the fly after we forgot to tell him we needed a handheld mic! His partner also helped out by coordinating a zoom meeting for guests who were virtual. Mario and his partner were completely prepared for anything that might come up. And then we get to the photo booth.....a huge hit at our wedding and Mario and his team even create a nice custom backdrop for all the photos that we got to take home afterwards. Our guests raved about the photo booth and we were excited that we would get to receive a copy of all of the pics. Mario made our special day a truly memorable one and I would recommend Powered By 2 DJs to anyone who was looking for a DJ for their event. Thanks Mario and Team!

Mario and his partner were excellent at our wedding! Before the event, he connected with us ahead of time to go over, very clearly, specific details of song choices, wedding party names and pronunciations to ensure everything would go perfectly. During our event, Mario kept our wedding guests very entertained and the photo booth was a big hit! Finally, the biggest kudos to Mario in my opinion is his responsiveness. I'd shoot an email his way and get a response in minutes often times. The assurance that he'd get back to us (especially during these uncertain times) really added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend Mario and his team to others interested in a DJ or photobooth!

Mario and his team are wonderful. Made everything so simple and easy and I had some special requests. Everything went off without a hitch. Provided ceremony and reception music. Also had a photobooth where they created a custom backdrop. Guests had so much fine with the photobooth, nice touch to get printed and texed copies. Kept the energy going with good music throughout the entire wedding. Thank you so much!

Mario did an amazing job during our wedding! He was such a pleasure to work with in preparing the music selections and made sure we had nothing to worry about! Everyone loved the song choices during the reception and had a wonderful time! The dancing on the cloud was an amazing bonus, and it made our first dance come to life! Mario had our entire wedding on the dance floor all night long!! He took requests and played them in a timely manner. The photo booth props were also a huge hit and added lots of fun to the party. We would hands down recommend Powered by 2 Djs to any wedding or party!

From our very first phone conversation to the night of our wedding Mario went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations! Extremely helpful and very professional, Mario was quick to reply to any questions we had for him during our planning process. The day before the wedding, we made the last minute decision to add uplighting to our package. Even though we were just hours away, Mario was able to accommodate our request which we were so grateful for as it made a worlds difference for our reception! The night of the wedding Mario wowed our guests with the dancing on cloud effect, and then kept everyone dancing all night long! If we could do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing! Amazing music and photo booth kept the crowd dancing and singing all night! Such an awesome variety of genres and blended the Spanish and Italian music so nicely! Highly recommended very professional and over the top service!! Can't wait for another excuse to have another party thank you so much!!

I attended my best friends wedding on 1/7/17 and most people look at the food and the decorations and the suits and dresses, but at the end of the night when the heels get kicked off and the ties come undone the DJ is the most important part. This Dj brought such an energy to the party that my date and I never left the dance floor. He played the classic old school songs we grew up on and that we danced to in high school and college, but he even had the throwback timeless wedding songs and music that our parents were even singing and dancing along too. He brought his photo booth that he entire grooms party fit into (surprisingly) and his lights and smokeshows really put him over the top for me. When I finally decide to pop the question to my special lady he is the first person I'll be calling.

Mario was an amazing DJ for our wedding! He was kind, professional and very easy to work with. He was in tune with everything that my husband and I wanted for our wedding and would go to great lengths to make sure that everything was exactly as we anticipated. DJ "Mo” Torres of Powered By 2 DJ’s is what we call (in the music business) “The Total Package". As a seasoned DJ myself, I had the hard task of allowing myself to not be "The DJ" for one night, and letting someone else create the atmosphere I wanted for my special occasion . DJ “Mo” was just the man for the job. It was my 10th year Wedding Anniversary & Vow Renewal Celebration. DJ Mo handled the event as if it were his very own. Prompt, professional , and on top of every detail , like getting my thumb drive dedication video to play (despite being recorded in the wrong format). Just when I thought all was lost, he came through like a true pro, and had my special journey (in photos & music) flashing across the monitors in minutes. I can go on and on about this Mixmaster DJ/MC “Mo” Torres, but for time sake , I will get to the point. DJ Mo played every hot track of current, and also took us way back down memory lane. Not one of my guests could remain seated, including Grandma, because the music just kept flowing. Everything from “J-Lo to Frank Sinatra, and in between , with a twist of caribbean, love songs, and group dance theme songs. When it was all said and done, my guests and I all "went home happy".Needless to say, we have since recommended this talented professional to everyone in our family , and friends alike. I just relived one of the best days of my life, while writing this review, and I have Mario Torres aka DJ “Mo” of Powered By 2 Dj’s to thank for that.

Let me begin with two words to describe DJ Mario from Powered By 2 DJ’s: Incredible and Professional! I am extremely happy that we decided to go with Powered By 2 DJ’s for our wedding. Mario offered a level of professionalism that I had not experienced with past DJ’s, he was great with helping us plan the night’s event and with choosing the right package to make our night special (the photo booth was a fantastic choice!) and he kept in contact with us regularly. He offered a fantastic catalog of music for our song selections, and throughout the night was very accommodating to our guest’s music request. Our guests were kept entertained the whole night as Mario knew just what to play and when, and he helped keep things moving steadily during our procession, taking a lot of stress of this bride! He made our night memorable and I recommend him highly!

Mario of Powered By 2 DJ's was the DJ for our wedding of about 100 guests and his work far and away surpassed our expectations. From the start Mario was extremely professional and helpful, and I so appreciated how quickly and regularly he communicated with my (now) husband and I throughout our wedding planning process. He's fully licensed and insured which gave both myself and our venue's wedding coordinator a lot of peace of mind (and he readily presented the certificates). He easily accommodated our taste in music and helped provide great suggestions when we were stuck on what to play for things like cake cutting/bouquet toss, etc. Mario was very conscious of making sure he knew the exact order each of our family members/bridal party was to enter the reception and even took the time to make sure he knew how to pronounce every name (a detail I never would have though of on my own) and had exactly the right version of the song we chose for our first dance. The day of the wedding Mario showed up early to set up and was even able to provide a mic for our ceremony and the string musicians who played before our ceremony. What I admired most about Mario was his ability to "read the room" and know what type of music to play when (during dinner, etc.) and when to keep the volume low or turn it up for dancing. We had several elderly guests in attendance and I was concerned about volume for them (I'v heard my older relatives complain about the speakers being too loud at other weddings) but Mario was great about that and we had no issues and no complaints. When it was time to get the dance floor going Mario was perfect and our dance floor was full the entire night. He really made our wedding reception the party that we wanted (without being too over the top) and kept the energy up and fun going--we (nor or guests) wanted the night to end. I can't recommend Mario enough--he is amazing at what he does, and extremely reliable and professional. Not to mention, he truly loves and takes pride in his work (which is evident from the moment you meet him). Finally, his prices are extremely reasonable and fair-- he's honest and upfront about pricing options and he has no interest in overcharging or taking advantage of couples like other DJs I've seen in the industry.
