such a sweet area for cocktail hour. The space comfortably fit our 120 guests with plenty of room for dancing. We loved that we could bring in the vendors we wanted, purchase our own alcohol, and make the space our own. This venue is also conveniently located near downtown St Pete and had a full parking lot available with overnight parking. Nicole, the Events Coordinator, was so kind and helpful throughout the entire planning process and day of! We highly recommend this space!

e the space to fit your vision and needs. With the space being so beautiful, we really did not need much decor. The location is perfect as it is right in downtown St Pete - this was wonderful as most of our guests traveled from out-of-town, and its location provides easy access to hotels, restaurants, nightlife, and more! As it is right across from the marina, you also have wonderful views which make for incredible photos! Additionally, it feels great to support a local non-profit that also gives back to our local, Tampa Bay community.

feel. We found just that at Poynter, it really was our dream venue. Our guests also appreciated that there was free parking, and how close it was to the downtown St. Pete area. We worked with Andrew to coordinate our wedding reception and he was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. He answered all of our questions and offered advice based on previous events. The space is so beautiful and it's so versatile with several different areas (courtyard, reflection pool, atrium). Our guests loved looking out into the marina during dinner, and we all enjoyed the spacious dance floor afterward. We highly recommend Poynter Institute for any DIY couples searching for a venue in the St. Pete area.
