iciant. But make no mistake: despite the small guest count, there was still much to be done. Prasanna is thorough and thoughtful. We met multiple times before our wedding day, both to talk through logistics and to help her get to know us better. We were grateful that she truly cared about knowing us, with an earnest belief that our relationship and energy were special to the day. She felt a real obligation to capture that, which was both poetic and heartwarming. She brought a vibrant hum of energy that was hard not to adopt yourself while preparing for the big day. And while, in our case, her role was photographer, given the intimate nature of our wedding, she took on many more responsibilities — all of them more than welcome. Prasanna helped us plan the run of show, visited our wedding site tucked among the redwoods beforehand (she happened to be nearby), and mapped out the action-packed hours as we scooted from one grove to the next. Without her guidance, we would have skipped over some of the most precious moments, not realizing how important they would become to us later, like our first look. She created a meticulous timetable that, even for a small wedding, made the entire experience feel seamless. We’re so grateful she shared her insights, from advising what to pack in our bags, to carving out restful solo moments along our walking route. It all helped make our day as smooth as possible and as beautifully captured as we could have hoped. While she has an outgoing personality, on the day of our wedding she knew exactly when and how to step back and let us take the spotlight. Above all else, Prasanna is passionate about her work, and that genuine love for what she does shows in every meeting, photo, and interaction. To say she under-promised might not be quite right, but regardless, she most certainly overdelivered. We love the photos. The lighting among the trees was both ethereal and uniquely challenging, and she captured and edited it beautifully. Thank you for making our day so special, Prasanna.
