Melinda with Precious Petals created all the flowers for my daughters wedding in May 2024. Bridal bouquet, brides maids flowers, boutonnières and center pieces they turned out beautifully. My daughter chose Precious Petals to service her April 2024 wedding at The Barn at Mapleside and we are so thankful she did! My daughter had no clue what she wanted as far as flowers for the venue or even the flowers for all people (bridal bouquet, corsages, etc). I imagine as a florist this isn’t easy because there is no guidance; however, Melinda rolled with it and created everything that captured the couple with their simplicity, yet eloquence. I can’t say enough great things about working with Melinda! She did the florals for my wedding in May and they were so beautiful! I knew I wanted to book with her after seeing the beautiful florals she put together for my sister’s wedding last year. Precious Petals was incredible to work with! Melinda is easy going, thoughtful and helpful through the process. She helped to craft what I had in my head but couldn't actually describe. She was patient to walk through the options and provide ways to fit the color scheme into the day. Day of - she exceeded expectations! The compliments were constant because not only were they gorgeous but they lasted and smelled amazing. We savored them turning them into smaller bouquets to give to friends and neighbors. She has variety! Not only amazing floral arrangements but taking on special assignments like the roof of a VW bus with a vintage suitcase. Melinda - I'm so lucky you were my florist. The flowers were sensational! Everyone was talking about how gorgeous they were! My bouquet was absolutely breathtaking, the bridal party bouquets were just perfect. I would like to point out that my mother is a very picky woman. I love her to death, but Lord knows, she is picky. When she saw the flowers, she was beyond elated...a very hard thing to accomplish with her! We were all just so pleased with Precious Petal's quality of work; you truly have a gift!

I cannot recommend Melinda enough!!! We met with her prior to our wedding and showed her some inspiration images, but what she ended up doing was SO much more amazing than I ever could have dreamt up. The florals & candles were so dreamy and absolutely perfect for the venue. Multiple people told us our decor was the most beautiful and elegant they had ever seen at a wedding!

Melinda's beautiful floral arrangements really enhanced our ceremony and reception. She took the time to carefully listen to our vision and make expert suggestions to bring the whole look together. Several guests commented how beautifully done all of the florals were--she really went above and beyond! Highly recommend using the gold arch and candelabras to make your design "pop."

The worst part of our wedding being over is that I’m not sure when I’ll work with Melinda again!!! She is truly the most kindest, caring, and loving person and so accommodating for all that we had to rearrange due to COVID. She is creative and can take your vision and bring it to life! Melinda designed our flowers for our ceremony, reception and all bridal party and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The quality of her work is second to none and I’m so grateful that she was our florist!

We utilized real floral for the bride and groom and the parents. The end result was absolutely stunning and fit our style 100%. The bouquet was perfect and included all the requested colors and elements. There were so many beautiful varieties and each complemented the other perfectly. The corsages and boutonnières also were gorgeous. We gave Melinda just a few details but freedom to be creative and she did NOT disappoint! She was flexible and even provided a toss bouquet to match the bridal bouquet. I would absolutely recommend her for any and all floral!

Vendor needs to work on people skills as many emails the day before and day of were very rude. Vendor also needs to be more upfront with when she would set up flowers at the venue. Flowers were over $3,000 and we did not find out until the day before that the flowers would sit outside the entire day in the scortching heat. After inquiring if it could be later in the day the emails turned very rude and insensitive. When we booked we were the only wedding on that day. We were told since it was such a big wedding only one small additional wedding would be taken, if any and the day before we find out there are 3 weddings that day and because of that our flowers have to sit out all day. Overall, the flowers were pretty, but I would go elsewhere to avoid the stress and unnecessary attitude. Not worth it.

I have been working with Melinda for wedding flowers for 2 years due to having to postpone a few times. She has been so easy to work with and so understanding with the moving of dates. Not knowing much of anything about flowers or what exactly I wanted, I gave her color options and what looks I liked for my bouquet and she put it all together better than I could of ever imagined. I will be going back to her again next year for our big reception, and without a doubt will refer any future bride to her for their flower needs!!

Melinda was amazing! My flowers looked incredible. Being a Covid Bride I actually had two weddings. My first was a micro-wedding on my original wedding date in June. I then had my postponed reception in September. She made my floral arrangements for both and they were perfect. She was so easy to work with the so down to Earth. It was such a stressful time but she really made it easy! She also made this huge beautiful arrangement for my Ceremony Circle. It was just so gorgeous. She truly is talented. Everything looked just as I had envisioned. Just trust me, you found the right florist with Precious Petals!

Melinda was so amazing. I wanted a unique bouquet and she understood my vision and took it to another level! I showed her some pictures from Pinterest and she combined them all to make me the most stunning bouquet I have ever seen! Communication and excellent costumer service was very important to me and she definitely met my high standards. She was super friendly and I felt very comfortable with her. She would respond quickly to texts or emails and was very honest and upfront with everything. I would HIGHLY recommend her for all your floral needs!

My flowers were PERFECT! From start to finish Melinda took careful notes of what I wanted. She even allowed me to see flowers in her cooler and go over what I liked and what I didn't like. Melinda was very patient with me and sat with me to discuss specific colors that I loved, and colors I didn't love. I knew after our first meeting that I trusted her and told her just to go with it! The result was BEAUTIFUL! My theme was a rustic garden party with gold accents. My girls were in Mauve and the guys were in Ink Jet Navy. My flowers were a beautiful mix of greenery, and colors ranging from mauve, whites, dark plums, lilac, and light pinks. Melinda is so creative and artistic. I was NOT stressed AT ALL dealing with Melinda. She made everything a breeze and delivered my flowers right on time. My photographer was even blown away and I cannot wait to get my photos back to share with Melinda! We look forward to staying in touch with her and using her for any floral needs <3. I highly recommend!

Melinda is the absolute sweetest and is so talented! Our wedding looked like a dream with all of the greenery and floral that she had in the venue. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and nothing I had ever seen before. I am so very happy with how all of the table arrangements turned out. My husband and I felt completely comfortable letting her run with our ideas - we were so excited to see everything the day of! She also made a 13ft long garland of greenery that was absolutely stunning - no one believed it was real until they came over and touched it at our head table. She's the best and extremely talented!
