Boris did a great job of keeping the party going! The dance floor was always packed. The best thing about having Boris was that he kept us on our schedule. Our wedding day was so busy that it was impossible to keep track of time and he closely followed the timeline we provided to make sure we fit everything in. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that Boris was missing a lot of current music. This was not a big issue for us because we sent him a playlist and he downloaded the songs we wanted, but I could see that being a little more of an issue if you didn't have a set playlist and were just hoping to let guests request popular songs the day of the wedding. However, our wedding day was perfect and Boris brought a lot of positive energy so we would recommend Boris. NOTE: I would not recommend the photobooth that can be booked through Boris. They got our wedding date wrong on the photo print outs, so all of our guests went home with a photo that was dated incorrectly.

I suggested Precision Sound DJ to my clients for their wedding this past Friday, June 15th and they did not disappoint. We had DJ Dan for the night and he was amazing! Followed right on queue for the ceremony, played great music for the dinner and kept the party rocking for the party! My couple and their families had an amazing night! To be honest, I'm shocked that this company has gotten so many stellar reviews. They're mediocre at best and not worth your money. While my husband and I enjoyed our wedding day regardless, Boris with Precision Sound DJ was our biggest disappointment. Things to note: 1 - We asked on multiple occasions if only radio edits of songs would be played due to the guests we had in attendance. Boris agreed that yes, he only plays radio edits. We immediately realized that that is not the case. Not only that, the one time my husband and I left the dance floor, we returned to "Get Low" by Lil Jon playing...in it's original version. We were appalled and immediately requested for the song to be changed. So, I hope your grandparents are cool with "sweat dripping down my balls". 2 - As a "courtesy to his clients," Boris takes it upon himself to film your venue and snippets of your ceremony and reception, ultimately creating his own video to share without your consent. This was not once discussed with us prior to our wedding day (nor stated anywhere in our contract), and his flash interfered with our photographer and videographer's film...the people we PAID to do this job. 3 - We requested white uplighting for our venue that had white walls. Boris pushed for a color, but we were sure we wanted white. In ALL of the pictures and film we've seen from our wedding, the uplighting is purple. 4 - If you are looking for a true DJ, look elsewhere. Every song was played in its entirety, there was no mixing or transitions involved. You're better off creating a playlist on your iPhone and plugging it into a speaker...it'll save you the money. Record your bridal party introductions beforehand while you’re at it, because Boris messed ours up anyway. NOW… onto why we feel the need to share this information with future couples. My husband and I addressed these issues with Boris and gave him an opportunity to respond before writing this review. He refused to take accountability for anything besides playing “Get Low.” His flash interference is apparently our photographer and videographer’s fault. He continues to claim the uplighting was white, which if it was and somehow appeared purple on white walls, they don’t truly have white uplighting to offer. Not only that, he threatened to respond to our review stating that he went “above and beyond” for us by allowing my brother to plug his own guitar cord into a speaker and use a microphone to perform our first dance song. Ok? Boris also played for an extra half hour (which we never ASKED him to do, he offered), but we tipped him over $100 which covers more than those 30 minutes anyway. He also claims to have succeeded in doing his job by keeping a “packed dance floor all night.” I hate to break it to you, Boris, but that has nothing to do with the job you did. Our guests would have danced no matter what, and have since joked with us about how terrible your service was. Sorry. Finally, Boris asked that we sit and ponder everything for 3 days before writing a review. Well, it’s been 9 days and our feelings haven’t changed. All in all, the way in which he responded to our concerns and took ZERO accountability truly speaks volumes of his character. So to all you couples still looking for a wedding DJ…RUN.

Boris was a great DJ! He kept the reception going and the people entertained. He played a variety of music and took requests. We had a variety of ages at the reception and he played something for everyone!

Boris with Precision Sound was a great DJ. Their website is fantastic. Has a wedding day planner on it so that you can lay out your wedding/reception with the songs you want. It also has thousands of songs for you to puruse and various top 50 requested lists. He is very professional and helpful with song selection.
