Recommended to me by a coworker, our DJ was Dan through precision sound. I loved the online search the company had and how easy it was to find songs. It was easy to use their dashb...
oard to help organize all of my wedding needs. Dan called me the week of the wedding to touch base and go over the timeline I had planned. He went above and beyond with some other suggestions that we used for our event. He played a generational style music list which for my guest group and me being a 90's baby was awesome.
Boris at PSDJ was absolutely incredible. Throughout the entire night he made sure to help coordinate everything with us to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied with how the eve...
nt was going. He was even so kind as to get me a drink from the bar when we were busy circulating/thanking our guests and even took pictures for us during cake cutting because we had no photographer for our reception. I will never forget that! I HIGHLY recommend using PSDJ for your event! You will leave the night having a new friend 🥰
We have only positive things to say about Precision Sound, Boris, and Dan. If you need to hire a DJ, look no further!
We first spoke with Boris about having Precision Sound DJ ou...
r wedding. He was quick to schedule a consultation with us and he was very fun and personable. After our consultation, we quickly booked them and were so happy we did, and here’s why:
First, they were unbelievably accommodating, helpful, and supportive throughout our wedding journey. We had two venue changes due to our first venue giving our date away and the second venue burning down, as well as a postponement due to Covid-19. They always quickly got back to us, offered to help us find a new venue, and had no problem changing our date, which was a full year out.
Second, the exceptional and professional service they provided leading up to and during the wedding (May 29, 2021). Dan was the DJ at our wedding and he did an amazing job. In the days leading up to the big day, he was attentive and quick to respond. I really felt like I was a priority. He listened to my ideas and worked with me to incorporate them into our big day. On our wedding day, he arrived on time and got everything set up nicely. We also did the photo booth and everything was set up nicely for that. Dan provided great music leading up to and during our ceremony and followed all our requests (one of which we emailed him about the night before due to our ring bearer not being able to make it).
Dan also provided music for our cocktail hour and reception. While there was a small hiccup with introductions, Dan did an exceptional job!! He was great at keeping things moving and on time. But, the best part was his ability to read the crowd and keep people dancing. We have gotten, and are still getting, so many compliments from our guests! There was ALWAYS a LARGE group of people dancing, and it continued that way to the very end. Because of Dan, we both had so much fun at our wedding, and know our guests did too! Chris also did a great job working the photo booth and putting the book together for us.
Boris, Dan, and Chris thank you for everything! We have, and will continue to, recommend you to others so their wedding night can be as perfect as ours was.
I would highly recommend working with Precision Sound! They were so easy to work with and made sure every detail was planned out! You can definitely tell they have experience wit...
h keeping the wedding and reception rolling and on track!
Thank you DJ Dan for keeping our party going all the way to the end!
Kept the party going all night long. Played music that all ages enjoyed/knew. Plus made planning from out of town very simple by having everything available online.
Boris did a great job of keeping the party going! The dance floor was always packed. The best thing about having Boris was that he kept us on our schedule. Our wedding day was so...
busy that it was impossible to keep track of time and he closely followed the timeline we provided to make sure we fit everything in. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that Boris was missing a lot of current music. This was not a big issue for us because we sent him a playlist and he downloaded the songs we wanted, but I could see that being a little more of an issue if you didn't have a set playlist and were just hoping to let guests request popular songs the day of the wedding. However, our wedding day was perfect and Boris brought a lot of positive energy so we would recommend Boris. NOTE: I would not recommend the photobooth that can be booked through Boris. They got our wedding date wrong on the photo print outs, so all of our guests went home with a photo that was dated incorrectly.
I suggested Precision Sound DJ to my clients for their wedding this past Friday, June 15th and they did not disappoint. We had DJ Dan for the night and he was amazing! Followed rig...
ht on queue for the ceremony, played great music for the dinner and kept the party rocking for the party! My couple and their families had an amazing night! Thank you Boris and Dan for such a great experience!

To be honest, I'm shocked that this company has gotten so many stellar reviews. They're mediocre at best and not worth your money. While my husband and I enjoyed our wedding day re...
gardless, Boris with Precision Sound DJ was our biggest disappointment. Things to note: 1 - We asked on multiple occasions if only radio edits of songs would be played due to the guests we had in attendance. Boris agreed that yes, he only plays radio edits. We immediately realized that that is not the case. Not only that, the one time my husband and I left the dance floor, we returned to "Get Low" by Lil Jon playing...in it's original version. We were appalled and immediately requested for the song to be changed. So, I hope your grandparents are cool with "sweat dripping down my balls". 2 - As a "courtesy to his clients," Boris takes it upon himself to film your venue and snippets of your ceremony and reception, ultimately creating his own video to share without your consent. This was not once discussed with us prior to our wedding day (nor stated anywhere in our contract), and his flash interfered with our photographer and videographer's film...the people we PAID to do this job. 3 - We requested white uplighting for our venue that had white walls. Boris pushed for a color, but we were sure we wanted white. In ALL of the pictures and film we've seen from our wedding, the uplighting is purple. 4 - If you are looking for a true DJ, look elsewhere. Every song was played in its entirety, there was no mixing or transitions involved. You're better off creating a playlist on your iPhone and plugging it into a speaker...it'll save you the money. Record your bridal party introductions beforehand while you’re at it, because Boris messed ours up anyway.
NOW… onto why we feel the need to share this information with future couples. My husband and I addressed these issues with Boris and gave him an opportunity to respond before writing this review. He refused to take accountability for anything besides playing “Get Low.” His flash interference is apparently our photographer and videographer’s fault. He continues to claim the uplighting was white, which if it was and somehow appeared purple on white walls, they don’t truly have white uplighting to offer. Not only that, he threatened to respond to our review stating that he went “above and beyond” for us by allowing my brother to plug his own guitar cord into a speaker and use a microphone to perform our first dance song. Ok? Boris also played for an extra half hour (which we never ASKED him to do, he offered), but we tipped him over $100 which covers more than those 30 minutes anyway. He also claims to have succeeded in doing his job by keeping a “packed dance floor all night.” I hate to break it to you, Boris, but that has nothing to do with the job you did. Our guests would have danced no matter what, and have since joked with us about how terrible your service was. Sorry. Finally, Boris asked that we sit and ponder everything for 3 days before writing a review. Well, it’s been 9 days and our feelings haven’t changed. All in all, the way in which he responded to our concerns and took ZERO accountability truly speaks volumes of his character. So to all you couples still looking for a wedding DJ…RUN.
Borris was great! He also did a little video of our wedding, which was nice.
Awesome experience. Super simple planning tools also provided for the clueless bride/groom in setting up the entire reception!
Boris was a great DJ! He kept the reception going and the people entertained. He played a variety of music and took requests. We had a variety of ages at the reception and he playe...

Boris did an outstanding job! Worked great with the photographer and videographer to capture perfect moments! Music that was played was perfect and exactly what we wanted
Boris was very helpful in planning the music and reception. He kept the party going until the end.
