My group have very different skin tones/types and hair and everyone was happy with their results. Hair and makeup recreated the exact makeup design from my consultation. The whole group was totally professional and sweet which made the getting ready process very fun. They stayed perfectly on schedule which is (in my experience as a bridesmaid) not always the case with other H+MU teams but extremely helpful to keep the flow of the day smooth. My makeup artist Amy went above and beyond helping to style me for some photos during touch ups which I am so happy and thankful for because the photos turned out beautifully. I recommend Pre-Dame to anyone looking for a truly tailored experience executed by a team with professional and artistic individuals who are excellent at what they do.

While they were at the top of my budget, I knew it was worth it to feel comfortable and like myself on my wedding day. (This applied to the moms as well, never having had hair and makeup done, they felt well taken care of, and like themselves!) My trial experience was so easy and fun. Stefanie was a joy to be around, she really made me feel comfortable and beautiful, and was helpful and excited about the notes and ideas we came up with for the wedding day. Sophie truly transformed my hair on the day of, and was also a pleasure to work with. Special shout outs to both of them for embracing my Mother-in-laws curls! And for going glam for my MOH! They just have the best ideas for helping you look your best, while embracing your natural beauty. Their calm presence made for such an easy and relaxing wedding morning, and I'm so happy with my decision to hire them!

y, and I especially appreciated the well-timed follow up emails for those times when my frazzled bridal brain forgot to respond to something :) Stefanie and her team here in Brooklyn are so nice and down to earth. They accommodated an earlier trial time for me when I had a last minute schedule conflict. It was such a confidence boost being at the studio while they walked me through what would look best with my complexion and facial features. Danielle was the perfect match for me as a bride looking for a more natural, glowy look that felt special but not over the top. She was so sweet and easy to work with - she had so many recommendations about how to apply products and explained the process to me every step of the way. I genuinely would have loved for her to stay for the ceremony as she felt like a close friend after the day’s getting ready events. My bridal party was so happy with the results! People kept calling me things like "stunning" and "a vision" and (my personal favorite) "a wraith of beauty who floats on air" all day long. Stefanie and Hailey are kind and wonderful and talented WIZARDS who made my bridesmaids and I feel and look like the most gorgeous versions of ourselves. ch is sorely needed on the day of a wedding. I wanted a natural-but-enhanced style of makeup rather than a super glam look, and she absolutely delivered. I was also extremely grateful that she helped me make some decisions and could use her expertise to shape the look I wanted but couldn’t articulate. I wasn’t doing a bridal party, so I had various family members getting ready with me. Stefanie made everything from moms in their 70s to sisters in their 20s feel comfortable and look their best. My makeup looked amazing all night and in pictures, as did everyone else’s. Couldn’t ask for more.

My makeup trial was amazing, and Kristen made us all look and feel so gorgeous for my wedding - one of my matrons even exchanged numbers with her because she was so in love with her makeup. She left behind lip gloss so I was able to reapply all night during the party, too! If you're considering Stefanie, Kristen, or anyone else on the team, don't think twice and book them before it's too late!!

t part was that we all still looked and felt like ourselves. She is so talented! I’ve never felt more confident than I did on my wedding day and we received so many compliments! But more than that, she is an absolute dream to have with you as you get ready for your wedding. She had a calming presence and is so easy to chat with. As someone who does not wear a lot of makeup on a regular basis, I am always hesitant to get my makeup done but she did such a phenomenal job and made it look very natural and just exactly what I wanted. She was so flexible with me when we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid-19, and I'm looking forward to working with her for our larger event next year again! My husband and I still did a small dinner on our original date this year—for that one, Kristen stepped in and did a very similar job as Stefanie had done for my trial, and was equally as lovely! Again, highly recommend!

They were SO understanding and accommodating when we postponed our July wedding to September. each time I was completely obsessed with how I looked! Stefanie really listened to the no-makeup-makeup look I was going for, something subtle, not too glam, a look that felt like me but more fancy! She did such an incredible job making my skin look flawless, not cakey or overdone, and so natural. My lashes looked amazing and I felt so glowy and fresh faced. I could go on and on about how much I love pre-dame but I'll just say, if you're a bride who's looking for the coolest makeup artist to make you feel like a more done-up version of yourself on your wedding day, Stefanie and Pre-Dame are your ladies!

the stage here...when I asked our planner for recommendations I literally said "I am dreading figuring out hair & makeup for the wedding" because I didn't have the first clue about where to look and how to know I found the right people). I looked through about 7 profiles/websites before I decided on Pre-Dame Beauty for makeup. Stefanie responded promptly and was sooooo flexible. She even let me coordinate my makeup trial for a day where I would be having a small pre-wedding party - that way I could test drive my "look" out on a very special occasion! She used my Pinterest page of makeup ideas and transformed it into a natural glowing bridal look that lasted alllllllllllllllll day without a smudge or crease or bit of unwanted shine! I was very worried that for an August wedding my makeup would just slide right off in the heat - but Stefanie worked with my skin type and picked out every product that worked flawlessly together. She taught me some tips and tricks on what to do if I needed a touch up. But amazingly all I needed was to reapply some lip gloss (which Pre-Dame gifted me to keep on the wedding day in color that perfectly matched my lipstick) I was truly in shock at how easy the entire process was & I was so grateful to have Stefanie take care of me and my bridal party PLUS teach me a lot of helpful tricks that I am still using now in my regular makeup routine. In terms of details on the wedding day, Stefanie arrived in my bridal suite early with music and got my bridal party (mom, sister, sister-in-law, and me) ready well ahead of schedule!! She emailed me in advance with insider information about the hotel I was staying at so we could request the necessary high chair and floor length mirror for our room (which was such a great bonus!! and we only got it because we asked ahead of time, I never would've known to do this on my own). Stefanie coordinated with my hairstylist so seamlessly that everyone shuffled back and forth between hair & makeup in such good time that we all had plenty of time to sit back and relax and enjoy time together before the whirlwind of the day took off.

of the bridesmaids. Everyone looked flawless...and I have some picky bridesmaids! I had previously had a trial with another makeup artist who didn't listen to me and ultimately did not make me feel beautiful. When I had a trial with Pre-Dame, I knew I had found a much better option. They were super easy to communicate with, were professional and on time, and most importantly did a wonderful job on the makeup. I would 1000% recommend. My only negative was that I had originally had a trial with the owner, Stefanie. Immediately after the trial I went on vacation for 5 days, so it took me that long to actually book her after the trial. And in those 5 days she had booked a different wedding on my date. She was very apologetic and offered me a trial with Sarah free of charge (which ended up working out perfectly) but I feel that if you are going to do a trial with someone, and someone else queries your wedding date, a heads-up before booking the other person is nice. So brides, if you have a trial with Stefanie and love it, book her right then and there or she might get whisked away! But everyone at Pre-Dame is great and Sarah is definitely the best makeup artist I have ever worked with!
