We originally saw Dan work his magic at TWO of our friends' weddings and knowing he was so great he was one of the first vendors we booked! Dan did NOT disappoint! He was very communicative, helpful, and informative as we worked through the process. At the end of the day, Dan made sure that everyone was dancing throughout the night! He has a special ability to read the crowd and understand what they need to have a good time. You will not be disappointed!

DJ Dan was the best! He kept the party going all night and the dance floor was full. He worked with us in advance to know our likes and dislikes and had the best time celebrating. His prices were reasonable and such a pleasure to work with. Definitely recommend!

My fiancé and I were very disappointed in the quality of service and communication skills of Dan, the head DJ. We had put down our security deposit and booked a wonderful DJ from this company to play at our upcoming wedding. I found though from the very beginning (even with email inquiries, signing contracts, etc) that Dan was always very slow to respond. It would take on average 3-5 business days to hear anything back. In a line of work that is purely customer service oriented, this is not up to standard. All of our other vendors have the courtesy to respond within one business day or less. Now as we are approaching our wedding date, I reached out to Dan to pay the remaining balance. ONLY because I reached out did he (again after 3 business days) bother to write back and tell us that his colleague abruptly quit and they have no backup for us! He didn’t even have the foresight to offer suggestions as to alternative DJs. I had to directly ask him for recommendations in another email. This company is unreliable, slow to respond to anything, disorganized and has no backup plans to help you if they fall through! Dan says he is going to refund our security deposit, but I will only believe this when I get my actual check back via mail. I am honestly very confused as to how this group has gotten so many otherwise positive reviews. If you are considering booking them, I would think very hard about it. No one wants to have a vendor flake out on them before their wedding day.

Dan must be the greatest wedding DJ. We had many guests remark on how great he did, and I was impressed with how he was able to cut in special requests I made seamlessly into the rest of his set. He did a great job of reading the room to determine what songs to play next, and kept a great pace going that logically flowed from song to song without ever sounding disjointed. best of all, you could tell he was having a blast at the wedding. It made the whole experience a lot of fun. In terms of planning, Dan was professional, prompt in responding to us, and helped guide us in coming up with the kinds of songs we want played at the wedding. I think the biggest takeaways were one guest yelling to him, "you're 12 out of 12 so far on good songs!", and my grandpa dancing and saying the DJ was "superb".

Dan was a great DJ! He takes the time to get to know the couple and their guest list to ensure that everyone has a fun time. Very easy to work with. Highly recommend.

From our first meeting with Sabri, we were confident that he would be the perfect DJ for us. He is very personable, high energy, very experienced, conscientious, and has great musical taste & timing. He was always professional and organized during our prep meetings and he even took an unsolicited visit to our venue to investigate different set up options. He also let us hear the versions that he had of the important songs we were picky about (processional, parent dances, etc). On the day of the wedding, Sabri was phenomenal. He was attentive to the flow of the day - he didn't rush us when things were slower than we laid out on the timeline (as they always are) and he worked with my husband and I to make sure we were ready for each transition. In addition to being so professional, Sabri is an incredible DJ! The dance floor was crowded the entire night. Our guests all raved about him and said they had never danced so much in their lives! Sabri even was able to keep the party going after my husband and I did our exit. He made our wedding so much fun and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable DJ who also creates a great atmosphere!

Dan and I went to undergrad together and so I knew the kind of DJ we were going to get by hiring him -- he'd be professional, cheerful, respectful, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. All these characteristics proved to be true -- Dan and his trainee Pedro were so easy to work with. Our guests enjoyed the music and Dan and Pedro kept the party going as well as politely keeping me and my fiance on schedule. We'd recommend this company!

Category: DJ 5.0 We loved our experience with Premier DJ Services. Dan was extremely responsive to my e-mails, and sent me the contract in a timely manner. Once I signed the contract, he assigned Sabri Sisman to work with us for my daughter's wedding. I cannot say enough great things about working with DJ Sabri. Throughout the process he really kept us on track! He created a playlist that we shared, as well as spreadsheet to help with the logistics for the day. We had a conference call with him two weeks prior to the wedding, where we worked on firming up the details. That really helped give us peace of mind, since we knew exactly what would happen when. Most importantly, when the bride and groom still couldn't decide on a couple of songs (like what to play when introducing the bridal party), Sabri was able to make some great suggestions - which also helped lessen the stress during those last couple of days leading up to the wedding. Sabri really knows how to read a crowd, and he did a great job of keeping the dance floor packed the entire night. And, I also liked that he looked like he was a fun, and not just there to do a job! I highly recommend working with him!

Sabri was absolutely incredible! He exceeded all our expectations for our wedding in April. He asked all the right questions beforehand via email and during our meetup 2 weeks out and was wonderful at bringing our vision to life. As MC and DJ, he kept the party going and seamlessly transitioned from activity to activity; we would highly recommend Premier DJ Services to any couple looking to hand over the reception party to a real professional.

Sabri was absolutely wonderful to work with! We both felt at ease the minute we started our first skype call with him to start working out the details of our reception. He was kind, very knowledgeable and very excited about all of our ideas to make our reception "us". He worked to get us the right music for each important moment, and didn't blink when we threw him something a little out of left field (our entrance song was a pro wrestlers entrance song!) We really appreciated his openness about his experiences with other weddings, to help guide us into the best plan for us and what we wanted, which helped put us at ease; we felt like we were flying by the seat of our pants until we talked to him! We have moments we will cherish forever, and thanks to Sabri we had the perfect music to accompany them :) Thank you!

Could not have had a better experience meeting with, working with, and becoming friends with Dan! He spent an hour and a half with us during our initial meeting getting a gist of our music preferences, checked in with us throughout the process to make sure we were comfortable with how everything was progressing, and did a great job of structuring everything so we could pick and choose some of our favorite music as well as some jams our family would enjoy during different parts of the ceremony. About a month beforehand, Dan checked in to ask about and confirm all of our music choices from the first dance songs to the last song of the night, making us feel comfortable and excited for the evening. Not only did Dan absolutely crush it throughout the evening, but to this day - over 2 months later - people continually mentioning how amazing our music at the wedding was and asking for Dan's info - it speaks to his uncanny ability to mix classics in with some epic trap music (per the bride's request) and flow across everything in between! We could not recommend him more highly for his professionalism, exceptional music quality and accommodation for all of our requests, and most importantly, his ability to judge the flow of the evening and play just the right beat for that moment. Seriously, don't miss out on Dan or his team - you won't be sorry!

Choose Dan to be your DJ for your wedding - you will NOT be disappointed! We met with a few vendors and after meeting Dan we knew he would be perfect for our wedding - he is friendly, fun, nice, laid-back and we also had seen previous reviews saying what a great DJ he was (he lives up to the expectations!). We spoke with a Dan a few times to discuss the wedding feel and the music we like, and he provided us with a few google docs we could add/remove songs from - very helpful planning tools. Dan took all our input and created the best wedding playlist ever! Several of our guests said he was the "Best DJ Ever" (and our friends have been to TONS of weddings so thats saying something.) We were dancing all night, and during dinner Dan played these incredible acoustic covers - something we hadn't mentioned to him specifically but he did a great job reading our taste. The whole flow of the evening was perfect - from the ceremony and cocktail hour, management/MC-ing duties to the late night dance floor music selections. We danced all night long - and could've kept going! Dan was overall from start to finish so great to work with - organized, responsive, and experienced - seriously do yourself/your wedding a favor and hire him! Thank you Dan!!!

We had a great experience working with Premier DJ Services. Working with DJ Sabri was an absolute pleasure! During the wedding planning phase we talked through all of the details so clear expectations were set on both ends. Sabri took the time to get to know my husband and I to understand our taste in music so he could play the music that would please not only us, but also our guests. He was professional, timely, and played fantastic music all night long. We received so many compliments from friends and family about how incredible our DJ was. We were thrilled with the experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend using Premier DJ services for any wedding or big event.

We loved our experience with Premier DJ Services. They are professional, responsive and really good at what they do. We worked with DJ Sabri and can't say enough great things! He was so much fun to work with and did an amazing job at the wedding. We had a few Skype-meetings with him leading up where we shared our style of music, went over a no-play list, shared ideas of songs we wanted to hear and created a timeline for the wedding. I also created a playlist on Spotify that we shared which was a great resource. Sabri kept the dance floor packed the entire night and looked like he was having a blast. First and foremost, Dan is a great friend. I wouldn't have chosen anybody else for my wedding day. He lives up to the hype he receives here on the Knot. You can't edit the memories people make at your wedding, so Dan makes sure that those memories are spectacular with his music and personality. Like the rest of the reviews he is great the whole way from booking to the last dance.

Dan was an absolute pleasure to work with. Responsive, super friendly, and very professional. He met with us before the wedding to go over any must-plays or songs we didn't want to hear, and to get a sense of our style and what we envisioned for the reception, as well as explain his process and how he would transition throughout the night. He did a great job, was friendly and accommodating to our guests (while staying within our guidelines), and we really enjoyed working with him- our dance floor was busy all night. Sabri Sisman was our DJ from the Premier DJ services company and he was awesome. From the beginning when we decided we were going to book all the way until our special day Sabri was nothing short of professional. He is very knowledgeable of his music and he pays close attention to detail. He makes sure that everyone knows that it is YOUR day. He has the equipment that you need and he is not overbearing when it comes to announcements. Once the dances start he pays very close attention to the dance floor and he had everyone from my father in law to my little 7 year old daughter on the dance floor the entire time. His transitions were flawless and he never missed a beat when he had to change to a different genre. Dan was the perfect DJ for our wedding. Jane & I were coming in sort of blind to how to do all the planning and organizing and what we wanted out of a DJ. Luckily, my best woman referred me to Dan, and all was smooth sailing from there. Dan had a Skype chat with us to talk through our preferences, give his advice on the flow for our reception on what he thinks works or didn't from past experience, and then helping us find our style for the evening's music. He was also super accommodating for last minute changes during the event itself! And we did some uplighting through him as well, as his pricing was much better than our reception venue - what made that even better was his familiarity with our venue already! Dan was absolutely amazing! I can't say enough good things about his services. Not only was he responsive and professional throughout the entire planning process, but his DJ skills were on point the entire night. Music was extremely important to us as both my husband and I love to dance! I can honestly say our dance floor was packed the entire night....to this day our friends continue to tell us how great our wedding was and I know it's in part the music that created such a fun atmosphere throughout the night...thank you Dan! Dan was the absolute BEST! So nice and laid back and super easy to work with! And such an awesome DJ :) . My husband and I met with him twice before our wedding and gave him ideas of music we liked, didn't like, and then a few songs that we definitely wanted played. My family is from southern Virginia and my husbands family is Peruvian so we needed just the perfect mix to get both families and friends on the dance floor for the whole night. Every song he played at the wedding we loved and ALL of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night! Dan throws the best dance party and I would 100% recommend him to anyone and everyone who is planning their wedding and needs a DJ!

My husband and I decided to have Premier DJ Services at our wedding reception based on the wonderful experience that we had at another friend's wedding, who used Premier DJ Services, as well. Our DJ was Sabri Sisman, and from beginning to end, he worked with us to learn about our music preferences and he gave us great suggestions for how we might organize events during the reception. Throughout our reception, Sabri did a fantastic job playing music that was catered to our guests; we had a range from oldies to contemporary hits. At one point during the evening, Sabri suggested that he play more line dance songs because he felt the crowd was really enjoying them (I initially said no line dances when I submitted my request for songs prior to the reception). Lo and behold, Sabri kept playing line dances and our guests continued to dance the night away. In fact, several of our guests remained until the last song. I really appreciated Sabri's consultation and collaboration as we planned the reception. My husband and I were so happy with the services that Sabri (and DJ Premier Services) provided - we would highly recommend him and the company to anyone looking for a DJ. They are the best!

Sabri Sisman did an awesome job for our wedding!! He was always very responsive to our emails, and was very professional on our wedding day. Dan the DJ was the highlight of the wedding!!! Everyone had only great things to say about his services. He was an integral part of the day and did the outside ceremony (even though it rain right before I walked out and all), he handed my dad his cowboy hat for the father daughter dance from behind his booth (which surprised everyone), and made our night the best it possibly could've been. Sabri was awesome! Prior to the wedding, we met and he calmed all of our fears surrounding timing and the music. He was organized, professional and clearly experienced. The whole evening ran smoothly in very large part because of Sabri. Most importantly, he read the crowd and kept them dancing literally all night. Dan is simply the best! He is very laid back and easy to work with. He is responsive and catered to our every need. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about music. Dan was a great DJ and friend to work with. The first time that we spoke on the phone, we spent an hour just going over what our musical preferences were and getting to know Dan as a person. He is very easygoing, relaxed, and perceptive of the audience's mood so during our reception, Dan very nicely chose the songs from slow to fast. We wouldn't change a single thing!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dan Huynh and Premier DJ Services. First of all, Dan met with my mom and I for over two hours in a Starbucks before we even hired him, getting a sense of our vision for the wedding, talking us through the services he offers and steps he takes to get to know couples and their music style/preferences prior to the wedding (all the while throwing in sweet little nuggets of wisdom, like to whisper jokes in each other's ears right as you start your first dance :)). He is friendly and warm and always professional (and, DJ work aside, he is just the kind of person you immediately want to be friends with). He paid attention to the details (making sure how to pronounce the names of the bridal party) but also remained very flexible (we decided last minute whether flower girl and ring bearer would be announced/introduced at the reception). He accommodated our outdoor ceremony beautifully. Mics for the officiant, two readers, and my husband and I reading our vows...we were all easily heard by all 170 guests! He went above and beyond to consult with my younger brother, who played a classical guitar piece while I walked down the aisle, to make he was comfortable and set up how he liked, and to make sure acoustically everything was perfect. It is so evident that Dan truly loves what he does! He was so thoughtful about the music choices throughout the reception. He really nailed it. He listened to all our input--but the best part is I never felt that I needed to give him much because I trusted his instincts 100%. I had so many guests tell me afterwards how they loved every song so much, they were "basically trapped on the dance floor!" :) You'd be foolish not to want Dan and Premier DJ Services on your vendor team!!! BOOK DAN. Speaking from someone who has experience in the music world, I highly recommend booking Dan. He is so flexible, creative, and professional. He also was the best dressed at our wedding. We had a huge black tie wedding with about 300 people. Dan completely blew us away. From hyping everyone up for reception introductions, to unique romantic pop song spotify covers during dinner, to the amazing reception set list, he made our night completely SEAMLESS. Book Dan!!!

We met up with Sabri at a local cafe as a meet and greet and he listened to all of our wants, needs and answered any questions we had... we ended up hiring him on the spot! Sabri DJ'd our wedding this past weekend and did an *amazing* job! He was accessible, flexible, and helpful throughout the planning process. We met twice -- first early on to see if it was the right fit, and then a few weeks before the wedding to go over the day-of timeline and musical preferences. Dan did a great job at our wedding. He was very professional and detail-oriented, and took a lot of time leading up to the wedding to walk through music options and to get the reception details perfect. He also did a great job with the introductions, and the music was very good throughout the night, with the dance floor pretty busy. In addition, he even mixed our first dance songs together, which was very helpful to us.

From initial contact to the end of the reception, Premier DJ Services was a hole in one. Our request for a quote was returned very quickly, and we were able to meet with our DJ within a week. Communication was never a problem with these guys, whether it was the company as a whole or our particular DJ. Speaking of, we had Sabri as the DJ at our wedding, and that was a great experience. From the moment we met him, we knew he was the right guy to handle our wedding. He was personable, fun, and always understood our interesting and sometimes counterintuitive requests. At the reception, he did an awesome job blending all sorts of styles of music into one awesome party. Props to the company for making the DJ selection process easy, and to Sabri for creating a great atmosphere for our wedding and reception.

DJ Dan absolutely killed it at our wedding. He had everyone from my church going grandma to our party rocking friends out on the dance floor. If I could have him DJ the soundtrack to my life I would, cause he would nail it. Dan is incredibly nice, easy to work with, professional and truly knows his craft. You will certainly not be disappointed. He listened to exactly what we wanted and was able to suggest other songs he thought we would like based on our list. He's like a human pandora, without commercials, and only playing the songs that you end up clicking thumbs up for. I wish I could do it all over again, just for the dance party.

Premier DJ Services was fantastic to work with. Dan and our DJ, Sabri, were both very professional and easy to communicate with. My now husband and I had a mix of old and young people at our wedding and didn't really have much of a direction when first starting to plan music out for the wedding on our own. We were provided a list of popular song selections and were able to choose quite a few songs that we enjoyed and thought our guests would too. We didn't have a full list, but after meeting and talking with Sabri for a bit we knew that he understood the direction we wanted to go in. The reception was absolutely FLAWLESS. The dinner music was perfect (Sabri even took the time to move around the room making sure the music wasn't too soft or too loud) and after the first dance, EVERYONE was on the dance floor and stayed there literally until our grand exit at the end of the night. We had the best time and can't thank Sabri and Premier DJ Services enough. What a perfect piece of our special day. Would recommend to anyone in need of DJ services.

Although our wedding took place in Pittsburgh, DJ Dan is worth every penny to bring him to us! Dan went above and beyond his job as a DJ, and even helped us coordinate some of the timing of events on our wedding night! You can easily tell he has plenty of wedding experience with how he timed things perfectly just as I had hoped. We had our first meeting with Dan over Skype, where he gave us a detailed overview and explanation on how he runs the show. Once we decided on Dan, he has always been very responsive throughout the entire planning process. Also, if you have any specific requests, just work with him and you'll get what you want in the end. We had a couple meetings over Skype and worked out all the details with him. After attending many weddings, both my husband and myself believe Dan is the best DJ so far! Here are a few things he did that truly stood out to us: 1) We forgot to pick a song for when the parents walk-in during reception and just decided to let Dan pick. Couldn't be happier with the song choice! Based on our song preferences from working with him, he knew what type of song we liked! 2) I COMPLETELY forgot about the bouquet toss on my wedding night, and Dan reminded me once again! 3) He is very professional and chill. Our vendor forgot to serve him dinner and he didn't say a word to complain...lucky we found out before it was too too late. If anyone lives within reasonable driving distance from Fairfax VA, I would strongly recommend you to at least talk to Dan first before deciding to rule him out due to distance. Our wedding was made memorable with the help of our DJ for sure! Thanks Dan :)

Dan is a superstar! I couldn't have ask for more in a DJ. In fact he went above and beyond his DJ duties and helped coordinate between our vendors, and even found us our photographer! He's extremely organized and is attuned to making the wedding night special and your own. He's been around the block a couple of times all his suggestions were right on par! Our wedding would not have been the same without Dan. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone having a wedding in the DC/NOVA/MD area!

Our vision of a great wedding included a busy dance floor, and when we told our wedding planner this she recommended Premier DJs. We worked with Johnny and he was terrific - very professional, courteous, and responsive. He handled the music for our entire wedding, from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. He listened carefully to our requests for ceremony and reception music, and where we did not have specific music ideas for other elements of the day (like the cocktail hour and dinner) he had plenty of ideas and we enjoyed the music he used. We had a detailed agenda sheet of the music to be played at various points during the ceremony and reception, and of announcements to be made at the reception, and he adhered to it perfectly. He also accommodated our requests to splice a couple of songs we had incorporated into the day, and we were grateful to have him handle that and take it off our long to-do list. Best of all, the dance floor was packed all night long and our guests had a wonderful time. We would absolutely recommend Johnny and Premier DJs for any other event!

Dan was an exemplary DJ for our wedding in late April 2015. He was thorough but unobtrusive and made sure multiple times throughout the evening that the music was to our and our guests' liking. From our first interview with him, through the planning preparation sheets and play/do not play lists, and ending with his services at our wedding, he knew exactly what to do. He had a good feeling of the vibe for the evening and had a well mixed playlist with songs enjoyed by every generation present at our wedding. Overall, he was easy to work with, provided great service, and is a heck of a nice guy. I highly recommend him. He did not disappoint.

We worked with Andrew and were so happy the night of our wedding, he played an extra hour! He had taken the time to get to know us and our daughters and struck the right mix of music that was appealing to all our guests, from age 7 to 70. There were some unconventional pieces to our wedding—one was the wedding party got to pick their music. This meant about five different songs before the ceremony was even over. All that was handled beautifully. He corralled our guests for a group photograph and then the fun began. I think every single guest hit the dance floor. No wallflowers! He managed to mix current music, 80s hair bands, 80s alternative, country, Celtic rock, Australian musicians and everything in between perfectly. I can’t tell you how many people said that was the most fun they’ve had at a wedding ever. I think the music was such a huge part of our wedding and Andrew just did it perfectly.

Dan and his crew did an amazing job!! From the ceremony, to the reception - the music was spot on! I was more than impressed with the volume of the music for our outdoor ceremony. It set the tone for the entire evening and I will never forget the feeling I had hearing our wedding song as I walked down the aisle. Dan did an excellent job reading the vibe of our guests and had everyone on their feet for most of the evening. We received a ton of compliments after the wedding on how good the music selection was. We appreciated the fact that Dan was able to accommodate all of our special requests. I have already recommended Premier DJ Services to several friends. Hiring them for our wedding was hands down one of the best decisions we made.

Music and dancing were areas of great importance for our wedding. We both are big music lovers and wanted to provide a great party. We could not have been happier with Johnny. He truly was amazing. He exceeded our very high standards and was a complete joy to work with throughout the wedding process. As the bride, his calm and collected vibe really helped me feel confident in his skills and abilities. Johnny read our crowd perfectly and played music all night that really kept the party going! Our dance floor was packed and the music was perfect! Johnny played a huge role in making our wedding a success, we would recommend him a million times over!

Dan was AWESOME. We told him that we wanted to dance all night and basically just have a huge dance party and he knocked it out of the park. We introduced our entire wedding party by picking an individual song for each person, and I completely forgot one of my bridesmaid's! I told him the information at the last minute and you would've had no idea, it was completely seamless and no one could tell! Our first dance song was a really difficult version to find and he worked with us repeatedly to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. He was professional, fun and hit all our "must have songs" and didn't waiver on our do not play list which we really appreciated. We would book him again in a second!

I highly recommend Premier DJ -- everyone had a blast at our wedding, mostly due to the great music being played. The dance floor was always full, and the DJs did a great job announcing everything. They also helped me develop my timeline which was super helpful!

We learned about Premier DJ when we attended a wedding DJ'd by them last year. The music at that wedding was awesome, so we reached out to Dan to get a quote. Dan was very responsive, responding to our voice mail right away. Dan had been the DJ at the wedding we attended, so we hoped he would be available for our wedding too. Unfortunately, Dan was already booked, but one of their other DJ's, Johnny, was available. After reading reviews of Johnny and meeting him in person, we decided to go with Premier. Johnny met with us twice before the wedding, going over our likes and dislikes, talking about the order of events, and the special music (for father/daughter, mother/son, cake cutting, etc.). He reviewed his approach to music selection and assured us that he would keep the dance floor busy. Johnny also attended our walk-through at the reception venue. Personality-wise, Johnny came across and somewhat reserved, which for us was perfect (we did not want a DJ that spent too much time talking on the mic during the reception). At the reception, Johnny did an awesome job. He followed our guidance to the letter (even when some members of the wedding party suggested that he change something, he stuck with the piece of paper he had from us telling him what to do). He did an excellent job introducing the wedding party and making announcements during the early part of the reception. He pulled together an awesome playlist as background music during dinner, and as promised, once the dancing started the dance floor was full until the end of the night. He played a perfect mix of dance songs, starting with stuff the older folks recognized, and he moved through the decades as the night went on. On at least one occasion, a guest made a request that Johnny knew would kill the mood. He was able to get the bride's attention and made sure we knew than he was advising against playing the song. We followed his lead, and the party kept on rolling. We had several guests tell us during and after the ceremony that the music was awesome. Premier DJ was great to work with, very professional and responsive, and Johnny is an excellent DJ.

Dan was absolutely phenomenal!!! He went well above-and-beyond our expectations – catering to all ages and types of music (and handing requests on our “No” list very, very well)!! We skyped (and emailed) with Dan several times leading up to the wedding, and he was amazingly responsive and insightful, giving us insightful feedback not only on our song choices, but also our timeline and staging. He truly wants to make your wedding an unforgettable party and is more than accommodating for differing styles and genres - we received SO many compliments on our music!!! Thank you, Dan!!

My husband and I used Premier for our September wedding. We really could not of asked for a better DJ. Dan was such a pleasure to work with - very responsive/easy to meet with, helpful advice, and really kept our guests on the dance floor! We thought our dance floor was too big for our outdoor wedding when our tent was set up just days before. The night of the wedding, our dance floor did not have an open space! Our wedding planner recommended Premier DJ Services, and Dan Huynh (the owner) set us up with Johnny Olesak. Johnny was great to work with and he did an awesome job at our wedding. We met with Johnny twice before the wedding. He came out to the venue to figure out the set up and give us a recommendation for uplighting. We then met with Johnny again closer to our wedding date to walk through the schedule and the music selections we made for things like the processional, recessional, and first dance. Johnny gave us good and honest recommendations about whether to extend the length of our reception (in particular, we were trying to figure out how long to extend the dance period) and was really flexible in the days leading up to our wedding (we did not finalize our day of schedule until the weekend before). At our wedding, Johnny was very professional. We appreciated that he went out of his way to get the correct pronunciation for the names of each member of the wedding party before announcing them at the reception. Johnny handled our ceremony, cocktail, and reception music and he did a great job with it all. We picked all the music for our ceremony, but trusted Johnny to handle the cocktail hour and reception with very little guidance from us. We gave Johnny a short list of must plays and do not plays, and he did the rest. At our reception, he had everyone dancing from the get-go, and the party didn't stop until the night ended. Many of our guests said that our wedding was the best they had ever been to, and that was in large part due to the great music that Johnny played. He played a great mix of music that made everybody want to dance. Johnny also did a great job with the uplighting at a fraction of the cost of professional lighting companies. The lighting color we chose gave the room a beautiful glow that looks awesome in our pictures. All in all, my husband and I can't thank Johnny enough for making our wedding fabulous!

We had an Albanian-American wedding, so naturally we gave John a bunch of Albanian music to play. John was amazing at gauging the guests and keeping the dance floor alive from start to finish. He switched from music my family would know to Albanian music to keep all the guests engaged. Prior to the wedding he was flexible with meeting times, the day of the wedding he was thrown a curve ball with the power source and he just seemed to roll with the punches and never lost his cool. He stuck to the "do not play list" ,was extremely patient with all my last minute song changes and most of all, the guests raved about how good the dj was. We had a longer than "usual" reception, the dance floor was open for about 3.5 hours and there wasn't a single minute that the dance floor wasn't packed with guests dancing the night away.

We had so much fun working with Dan from Premier DJ Services! Dan met with us a couple of times prior to the wedding so we could go through music ideas. He allowed us to essentially tell him every song we did and did not want played, while also giving us honest opinions and suggestions. Our schedule got thrown off a little bit because of a "rain delay" and Dan worked so well with our event coordinator to make sure that the rest of the night went along perfectly. They worked together to make decisions and knew exactly when to ask our opinion and when to switch things around on their own. He moved things around on our schedule so we could maximize time on the dance floor - and once people started dancing, they did NOT want to stop! He really got the party going! Many compliments from our guests about his services. Couldn't have been happier, and would recommend Dan to anyone!!

We had such a blast working with Dan from Premier DJ Services! Dan is a very down to earth guy and from our initial meeting we knew that he was the DJ for us! Throughout the planning process he was not only very responsive, but also flexible when we needed to make adjustments to our needs. He knows music so well and was able to help us come up with unique and fun ideas for different parts of our day. The dance floor at our reception stayed packed all night and Dan really knew how to work the crowd. After the wedding people raved (and still are talking) about how amazing the music and dancing was!

We worked with Dan Huynh, and from the very beginning, he fit what we were looking for exactly. We didn't want some over-the-top/cheeseball/props-toting/bow tie-wearing DJ, and he is none of those things. He has just the low-key but professional personality we hoped to find. He was totally flexible to all our ideas, and he was extremely helpful in guiding us to the right format for the evening we wanted to create. He also provided purple up-lighting to really make the room look awesome. We were expecting a pretty dance-heavy wedding, but it turns out our friends and family were often too busy drinking, chatting, and going in the photo booth to dance a lot. While that definitely wasn't a bad thing, we did want more dancing, so Dan was totally on the ball with drawing people back to the dance floor with some good songs. I can't think of anything even a little negative to say!

Dan was awesome! He had a great feel for his audience and kept the dance floor packed all night. He even showed up to our welcome reception on Friday and got to know our families, and on our wedding night he played a few special songs for them based on the conversations he had the night before. I can't say enough about what a great job he did.

I honestly could not have asked for a better DJ than Dan from Premier DJ Services! From our first meeting months before the wedding, Dan was so responsive to questions, professional, and most of all, fun. I was emailing him up to the day of the wedding changing the mother-son dance song (they couldn't make up their minds!) and he was totally easy going and was sending me sample mixes they could use. As for the night of the wedding...we had a BLAST! Dan had the dance floor packed all night and all of our guests had so much fun. We even had a special tradition that we sprung on him in the middle of the reception, and he played right along, announced it to the guests, and played a special song to make it great!

Book. Him. Dan loves what he does and he shows. He put up with every single one of my OCD bride requests and even upheld my strict "no Keisha" ban. He walked me through every decision to make sure that it was exactly what I wanted and that I was happy. We ended up not having a lot of people dancing, but he kept the music going and kept it very up beat. Choicing wedding vendors is stressful, but Dan makes you so comfortable that you don't even think twice about your choice.

Dan was an absolute dream. I initially found him years ago for my sister's wedding in 2009, recommended him for my college roommate's wedding in 2010 and had him for my wedding in 2013. Each wedding had its own distinctive sound that fit what each couple were going for. I seriously had to drag my husband to "meet the dj", but when we finished our meeting, my husband was bubbling with excitement for how awesome our wedding was going to be, and I was too! Dan was friendly, flexible, engaging and had lots of advice and pointers from his experience working at other weddings. Throughout the night, I had many guests come to me and compliment the music selection and DJ. The music really set the tone for the entire evening. My mom says she still (almost a month after the wedding) gets comments at church about how fun our wedding was!

I had a wonderful experience working with Dan Huynh of Premiere DJ Services. He was accessible, reliable, extremely friendly, accommodating and cool. Since our wedding and ceremony was going to take place in 1 location but over a few different rooms, Dan willingly came along to the venue to do a walk through. He carefully made sure he would not only be able to run speakers from where his DJ table was setup to where we'd be eating, but also had a backup plan in case, god forbid, the signal didnt make it through the thick stone walls. Our wedding ceremony was probably the most important part of the day to me, and music played a huge part in that. Dan make sure each track I chose (and yes he was totally fine with my choosing as much music as I wanted) played at the perfect volume level and for the perfect length of time, fading out exactly where I wanted. 2 nights before the wedding, he sat on the phone with me for over an hour, alleviating my concern about our guests being able to hear us if we decided not to be mic'd. When it rained the day of our wedding, I know he worked his butt off switching his setup from under our tent to a totally new space. And the party rocked. The night was a whirlwind, but I remember very well, that the music and dancing was a blast! Dan is not only a really talented DJ, but an awesome guy who is extremely detail oriented, experienced and really goes the extra mile to make sure the soundtrack to your day comes to life just as you've always imagined it. I highly recommend Premier DJ Services.

Dan is so professional but when we got to know him better we just wanted to be his friend because of his amazing personality. His flexibility (changing our minds 100 times) and ability to update a rare song we chose was awesome. Our guests loved the music selections...we gave him an outline of what we like and then he added in what he thought worked best and it was a hit! We danced up until they kicked us out. Great sound quality too!

Dan was such a pleasure to work with! He was responsive and provided us with the best advice regarding our timeline, introduction, etc. Most importantly, the music he played was FANTASTIC! We gave him a list of some songs, but for the most part he knew exactly what to play at the right time. Everyone was on the dance floor dancing the night away! Each of our guests told us that it was one of the best weddings they've been to... We attribute part of that to the amazing music and of course, the best DJ in the DC metro area!!! We give him a 5 all the way!

Dan was wonderful to work with and provided exactly the music we wanted for our cocktail hour, dinner and dance party! I received several comments from guests about how great the music was during dinner and the dance floor was packed after dinner, so the music selection was perfect! My fiance and I cared about three things at our reception: Food, Drink, and good MUSIC! We knew that the DJ would play a huge role in setting the reception's mood as well as facilitating our timeline that evening. Dan and Premier DJ Services exceeded our expectations in these two tasks. From the start, Dan was professional and just a pleasant person to communicate with. I am a 25 PhD student and my husband is a professional; we did not want a corny wedding DJ or someone ill equipped for the logistics. From his dealing with the contract, to his demeanor the day of, Dan fit this requirement completely. In addition to professionalism, Dan proved to be attentive to our music preferences, creating a cool, current vibe for the reception. My fiance and I had given him some basic "like, don't likes, and definitely don't plays" but gave him control over the rest. We ended up having a jazzy/classics cocktail hour, interesting acoustic versions of songs during dinner, and a wonderful mix of music when the dancing ramped up. My family and friends like to dance, but are not really known for it. Despite this, the dance floor was rockin' and everyone chanted "one more song, one more song!" when the party had to end. Most importantly, Dan followed my request to have NO group dances at the wedding! In sum -- we wanted our reception to feel like a big party where everyone mixes, mingles, and then dances -- and we got it! I'd recommend Premier DJ Services to everyone; they really care about the weddings they participate in.

Dan was the DJ for my wedding and I have to say, he is the best. Not only did I think he was the best, all of my guests thought he was the best. I knew that Dan was the one when we met intially for a consultation. Dan is energetic, funny, and upbeat. He understood that I wanted people on the dance floor the whole night and he made it happen. Dan got the groom's 87 year old grandmother on the dance floor! My dad was on the dance floor practically the whole night and he doesn't dance. We had literally everyone between the ages of 3 and 90 on the dance floor. If that is not a great dj, I don't know what is. Dan was also helpful in organzing the timing of the events and letting people know when the bar was open and last call. He was also extremely helpful in dealing with the inevitable song/kareoke requests from my happy guests. He had an awesome way of dealing with the kareokers. He gave two of my best friends who just had to sing a microphone that wasn't plugged into anything. LOL! They just sang along as happy as can be and we didn't have to hear them:) FYI: If you are thinking about getting uplighting for your ceremony/reception, Dan can do that too. He did amber uplighting for my reception and it was absolutely beautiful. Everyone kept commenting on the romantic atmosphere.

We picked Dan and his team due to DJ our wedding in Old Town, Alexandria because of his experience with multi-cultural weddings - in particular, Asian and American. His rates were also very reasonable. I found that Dan was very easy to get a hold-of and was very responsive. My wife and I never really marked all of the typical events during wedding reception and thus needed a great deal of guidance for ours. Dan was able to walk us through the typical events during the reception, what timing made sense, and helped us customize the schedule as we saw fit. He also provided a lengthy list of songs for first dance suggestions, mother / son dance suggestions, father / daughter dance selections, as well as a general list of dance songs for us to review and provide feedback. Once we provided feedback, he sent us a mix list with songs he thought (based on our feedback) we would like. The communication prior to the wedding was consistent and very helpful. Our biggest concern during the ceremony was that the Asian guests wouldn’t dance. Dan picked a great mix of songs and so the dance floor stayed busy all night. In addition, the lighting was good, the sound was good, and his microphones worked well. In short, our reception was awesome. We couldn’t have asked for more from our DJ. Overall, we were very happy with Dan and would recommend him & his team to anyone that asked.

Dan did a fantastic job from start to finish at our wedding. He spent time getting to know us and our personalities and tastes in music. When we asked if he could incorporate some Vietnamese songs, he went out of his way to look for and add our requests to his playlist. His music selections for cocktail hour, dinner, and then dancing at the end of the night were all perfect. In addition, his guidance and recommendations on planning our night was crucial. He was professional and was praised by everyone at our reception. The dance floor was packed – his music even got the old Vietnamese folks out on the dance floor! We were initially interested in uplighting that he offers, but were impressed when he suggested not doing it based on prior experiences at the same venue. We loved that he wasn’t looking for the extra cash but was more interested making sure things looked nice. We recommend Dan without any hesitation. He genuinely loves what he does and it shows. You will have a reception to remember with Dan!

They were amazing people to work with. They kept the party going and helped with the schedule for the night and ceremony. They even provided the lighting for the venue. I would recommend them to anyone!!

First off, our experience with Premier's attention to customer service was superb. We met with DJ Dan a couple times prior to the wedding, and his event experience, empathy, and deep mental musical catalog were apparent right away. He worked with us to figure out what we did and didn't want to have played, gave us some solid recommendations for specific songs, and beyond a short suggestion list and a do-not-play list (no electric slide!) we entrusted the rest of the music selection to DJ Dan. The day of he was presented with up-to-the-minute changing circumstances and set everything up without a hitch. The whole ceremony and evening progressed smoothly and enjoyably, and when it was time to hit the dance floor the party really started. Friends and family, seniors and little kids rocked out, with parents grooving and 6 year olds doing the duggie (yes, it happened, and yes it was hilarious). I don't know you find a way to get that kind of motley group to all have fun to the music at the same time, but Dan made it happen. I guess it wouldn't be appropriate to say we'd hire Premier DJ again, since it was our *wedding*, after all, but we would recommend Dan and Premier DJ Services without hesitation.

My husband and I got married just a few weeks ago and were absolutely thrilled with Premier DJ Services. We had Dan DJ the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, all of which he did perfectly and didn't miss a beat. We had previously met with Dan to go over our music styles, preferences, etc. Not only did Dan listen and play specific songs we had requested, but he went above and beyond in taking what he knew about us a couple and playing music which matched our style and our guests styles. All of our guests danced from the beginning to the end of the reception! We had several wedding guests come up to us both during the wedding, at the after party as well as at the breakfast the next morning and tell us what an awesome DJ we had and how much they loved the music. There is nothing I would change about the music that night and would love to use Premier DJ Services again for any other event!

We were so lucky to have Dan as our wedding DJ! Originally we were unsure of whether to go with a band or a DJ, and we are 110% happy with our choice to hire Dan. From day one, he was attentive and enthusiastic about our wedding. He spent a good deal of time getting to know us personally, our taste in music, and our expectations for the wedding. He offered us the perfect balance of quality professional experience, while still understanding our individual needs/ requests. Not to mention, he truly made the wedding into an incredible party. Overall, at the wedding we had a great time and all of the guests that were going to dance did and the music selection was just what we wanted! We had a few snags dealing with Premier in terms of being switched around with DJs twice. Originally we had Dan, who then found out that his sister was getting married and had picked our wedding date. That was completely understandable, obviously he had to be at his sister's wedding. He set us up with Ray, who seemed great when we met him and we felt comfortable. Then, 2 weeks before the wedding, Ray e-mails me to let me know that he actually won't be able to be there due to a work conflict and was setting us up with Christian. Now, 2 weeks out was a little rough to throw that on a bride dealing with a million other things. That was definitely not appreciated. However, Christian turned out to be better than Ray, in our opinion, and he did a really great job the day of the wedding. We loved him!

I can't find enough good things to say about Dan at Premier DJ Services. He is unbelievably easy to work with, priced reasonably and great at what he does. From the day we signed him until our wedding day, he was very responsive and flexible offering great suggestions and advice when we seemed a bit frazzled. Our dance floor was packed the entire night by guests of all ages. Even when it seemed like the party might die down a bit, Dan brought it raging back with great music and some personality.
