She found the New England Holiday Light Company (I’ll refer to them as NEHLC from now on) on WeddingWire. Getting in touch with them was easy. We used their website to contact them and they got back to us pretty quickly. They shared a link for a consultation and we spoke to someone (Jeff) that same week. Jeff was extremely friendly, excited for us, and attentive. He wanted to know exactly what we wanted and walked us through what they had. I always ask a lot of questions but that didn’t seem to bother him. We went back and forth sketching potential layouts on top of pictures I’d taken from the ball room until my wife and I were happy with what we had. Within a few days, we got our quote, purchased the light curtain, ceiling drapes and lights, and the white birch trees. Our wedding was on a Saturday. NEHLC was at the hotel on Friday morning installing everything. I got them in touch with the coordinator at the hotel and they took care of everything else, no supervision needed from us. It took them a couple of hours to get everything set up and it stayed in place perfectly until they came to remove it Monday (once again, I didn’t need to do anything, they took care of it all). The decorations were gorgeous and really transformed the room! We were worried about the ballroom the first time we saw it, but NEHLC turned it into a beautiful wedding hall. Many of our guests complimented us on our choice of lighting and decoration, but all the credit goes to NEHLC for their amazing work! The light curtain offered us an amazing backdrop for pictures and warm lighting for the room, and the drapes hid the ceiling perfectly. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to details made this whole process easy and stress-free! Thank you again to Jeff, Janice, and everyone else who worked hard to make this day everything we wanted it to be! PS: I didn’t have any pictures of the white birch trees, but once I get my wedding pictures back, if I can edit this, I will add them in as well as more pictures of the room!

h NEHLC. We took an introductory call with Jeff, one of the owners, during which he talked us through the options and sent us pictures of the options. Jeff was super friendly and knowledgeable. We ended up taking a 2nd call with Jeff to help us finalize our choices before signing the contract with NEHLC. Once we were under contract, we mostly coordinated with Larissa, one of the project coordinators, leading up to the event. On the day of the event, the barrel bistro light set up in our cocktail hour area and the bistro lights in our reception tent both looked great. Overall, a very good experience with NEHLC and we would definitely recommend them to other couples!

that it was going to be dark shortly after 4pm on our wedding day, but wanting our guests to be able to experience all of the beautiful venue, we knew lighting design was going to be an important element to add. The team was super knowledgeable about our venue and helped us to come up with the best plan. We added bistro lighting over the dance floor, path lighting between all the cottages, and uplights in the trees and it truly created such a magical and romantic atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
