The Best Cake You've Ever Had! Premier Pastry made our wedding cake and EVERYONE gave it rave reviews. We had the chocolate raspberry truffle torte and raspberry almond torte flavors and both were delicious. Multiple people came up to tell me that it was the best cake they had ever had, even the venue staff. There were a number of people who took another piece as they were leaving because it was so good. They give you a box of samples to try after your initial meeting and every single one was stellar. Not only did the cake taste delicious, but it also looked beautiful too. They can accommodate buttercream or fondant. We chose buttercream and they arranged fresh flowers on it from our florist. It looked gorgeous, I almost hated to cut into it. They were very easy to work with, even when we had to postpone a year due to covid. Trust me, you can't go wrong with this bakery.

Some of the best cake I've ever had. We had a very small wedding, and went with a 2-tier cake with mocha walnut torte and traditional white cake, both were AMAZING. price was very good. in addition, they were the only vendor to give us samples of actual cake slices, others gave us cupcakes in various flavors, which didn't give the right consistency. would recommend and go back for every event we need.

The absolute best wedding cake I’ve ever had and my guests agree. We actually went to them because we had their cake at another wedding. It was so hard to narrow down our flavors because they were all great and not dry at all. They were willing to work with our budget and ideas for decorations and made suggestions to make it even better!

We HIGHLY recommend Premier Pastry! The first time we met them, they provided us with a box of seven large slices of cake to try. We had a hard time deciding which flavors to use, as they were all excellent! Their buttercream frosting is amazing, and I'm typically not a fan of frosting. We went with a rich chocolate cake with raspberry filling, and an amazing almond torte cake. Our top layer was a delicious gluten-free cake. My husband and I do not eat gluten free, but loved the flavor and provided it to our guests with gluten-free diets (which they really appreciated!). The cake design was exactly as I had pictured it! I am certain we will be using Premier Pastry for our future cake needs! :)

We booked Premier pastry for our wedding cake and we could not have been happier! The whole process was so easy and Philip was so accommodating! Premier Pastry was by far our favorite vendor we worked for at our wedding. Their entire business is perfectly set up to give customers the best possible experience. From the knowledgeable nature of their team to the take home box of cake slices to taste to their responsiveness to their timeliness of delivery, I couldn't have been more thrilled with their professionalism. Not to mention, the taste and beauty of the cakes blew our guests away - we were able to do three different flavors, none of which disappointed. The chocolate praline however ended up stealing the show and a few weeks later, friends are still bringing it up.

All I can say is WOW! First of all the flavors are all amazing. When you first meet with Premier they give you a small box with 6 slices of cake in them to take home and try. It was so hard to choose but somehow we did. Next they made my vision come completely to life! My guests could not stop talking about how beautiful and delicious the cake was! Thank you premier!

We decided to do cupcakes and a small cutting cake for our wedding and I think it was the best decision! Premier makes large cupcakes, so you really only need one per person. On top of that, their cupcakes were AMAZING. We received so many compliments on how delicious they were. We were able to have five flavors in various quantities, depending on which ones we thought would be the most popular. They even let us order a single gluten-free cupcake for one of our guests, which was super helpful. I’d highly recommend Premier to anyone looking for a bakery!

Our cake turned out amazing. We picked a design from one of their books, and they were able to make it exact. The flavors that we had to choose from were all so yummy. All of our guests were raving about how great it looked and tasted.

After trying out many local cakes we stopped when we got here! No rules, beautiful designs, great pastries! I highly recommend! We decided not to save our cake top but enjoy it and go back next year for another, its that good!

Premier Pastry provided my wedding cake, cookie trays and chocolate covered strawberries for the reception. Everything was absolutely delicious! The cake was perfect and it was exactly how I had described. Most importantly, it tasted amazing! I would highly recommend this bakery to anyone. Sometimes they were a little slow at responding to e-mails, but they always got back to me and made planning my wedding long-distance very easy. Everything was delivered on time and in perfect condition to the reception. The cake withstood the 85 degree heat and humidity very well during our outdoor reception. I would highly recommend them to any bride. They are very talented bakers with a seemingly unlimited number of choices for flavors and design.

Premier Pastry created a 3 tier square cake for my wedding day. they met with me twice to go over the details and discuss the design 7 flavors. We were able to modify flavors to meet our tastes as well as include flavors not on their typical list. We had a chocolate cake with beglian chocolate truffle filling and a chocolate peanut butter flavor. The cake was fresh and the design was perfect. They incorporated our wedding theme and kept the cake modern yet classic.

Beautiful and detailed

We tried a lot of cake and pastry places--nothing compared to this one. Everything tasted just amazing. Their petit fours were super creative and whimsical, and our guests just couldn't get over the fact that everything actually tasted as good as it looked! They really listened to what we wanted regarding our cake design, and even found special molds of elephants to put on top of our cupcakes. These people are great to work with. And perhaps the best part? They are reasonably priced!

Our cake was even more beautiful than we expected and reflected our wedding perfectly. Both of the flavors we chose were absolutely delicious ... we can't wait for our first anniversary to dive into that top tier!

I will definitely use them for other events! They took some pictures I emailed of designs colors and my ideas and made a magnificent cake and cupcakes that were far more then I expected them to turn out to be. The cake and cupcakes were great portion size and so good!!!

Premier Pastry is one of the best, if not THE best, pastry company in Rochester, NY. Phillip Duquett-Saville, owner and master baker, is fabulous! His cakes are inventive, creative, BEAUTIFUl, and above all delicious! He created a custom ombre cake in purple using fresh flowers as layers in between the tiers. It was modern and elegant and just the right touch for our venue. The cake tasting he offers is a box set of 12 flavors to choose from, which you can take home and taste with family and friends. We also ordered specialty cookie trays for a second reception. He made heart cookies with our initials in addition to a wonderful variety of chocolate chip, lemon poppyseed, and almond raspberry, to name a few. Our experience with Premier Pastry was pleasant, professional, and without any hitches. I would HIGHLY recommend them for quality and craftsmanship as well as pricing.

Our wedding cake was gorgeous and so detailed! We chose 2 flavors and we tasted both on our wedding day- both amazing! Our venue packed up 2 slices for us to eat in our room that night, I wished we had gotten more! So good! They also made macarons for our dessert display. Salted caramel, pistachio, and strawberry. They were wonderful too!

Premiere Pastry offered me the most creative option for our wedding cake. We had a certain theme in mind and when I met with them, their idea was incredibly creative. They created a cake based upon my requests and pictures, but then accessorized it beyond my imagination. The cake was awesome and delicious! They were most helpful and even gave me suggestions on locating wedding invitations. What a creative bakery!

We got a recommendation from our caterer to try Premier Pastry, and we are so glad we chose them! Not only did they offer us a huge sample platter of their best selling cakes, they were so helpful in bringing up design ideas and finding ways to fit our budget. We were so happy and the cake was so delicious! Philip arrived onsite with the cake and set it up at the reception and decorated it nicely with the flowers we gave him to use.

we ordered our wedding cake, a suprise groom's cake as well as all of our sweets from Premier. they were a pleasure to work with. they were incredibly helpful in our decision making process. they helped us determine quanities as well as variety. the sample boxes of cakes and sweets were fantasic!!! we were able to take them all home to enjoy at our leisure. I also planned a surprise groom's cake for my husband; they were great at helping to keep it a surprise! The cakes turned out perfect and tasted even better! we received tons of complements regarding all of the cakes and sweets!

For our wedding, we wanted a bunch of cut out cookies (to go with our other "finger" desserts), rather than a huge tiered cake. We did also want an small cutting cake to go with it. We tried a few cake places, and ended up going with Premier Pastry because they had the best tasting cake, great cookies, and fairly impressive design work. Being a cake decorator myself, I was very picky about the design. I went to a few cake places, design in hand: A cake designed to look like gray bricks with ivy growing up it (think castle wall)and cookies shaped like ivy leaves and segments of gray brick wall. Premier Pastry did not question the out of the norm design, and were willing to embrace it. She even contemplated out loud during our initial meeting how she would go about doing it. One thing I would have liked is more discussion on how we could do the design without using fondant. We aren't keen on fondant and another cake place was willing to do it in butter creme, but Premier pastry was really only comfortable with doing fondant. We ended up accepting it because we liked the cake taste best. We ended up paying a bit more for an 8" round cake than we would have wanted ($65) but it was mostly because of the fondant.

Premier Pastry makes the most beautiful and original cakes for what I think is the most reasonably priced bakery around. They are truly works of art. Our wedding cake was the second cake I ordered from here. I will never order a specialty cake from anywhere else.

The staff at Premier Pastry is friendly and professional. The experience began with sitting down to go through all the different options in not just the flavor and design, but also in cake serving options. When you meet with one of the baker/designers, they also give you a box of cakes with different flavors, fillings, and frostings. We ended up going with a 3 tiered cake and a sheet cake to be able to serve all the guests, have the top layer for our 1st anniversay, and not spend a fortune. The cake was absolutely stunning decorated with buttercream frosting and swirls (and flowers by Fiorvanti's Florist) and tasted delicious.

Philip at Premier Pastry was amazing! We met with him to discuss our design and were sent home with a box full of yummy cake samples that we could try later on that evening. I very much preferred to try at home because my hubby and I could speak freely about our opinions and share the leftovers with family to get their thoughts as well. Philip worked with several different photos of cakes that I liked to get the perfect design and on the big day it was beautiful and DELICIOUS!!

Cakes were superdelicious, and had many unique flavors. The nut layers are really fancy and yummy. For the amount of cake we got (150 ppl), the price was comparable to many home bakers, but the cake was much tastier!

Our cake was gorgeous! We had a simple white, three tier, buttercream frosting with different flavors for each layer with flowers as decor. My groom and several guests thought that the cake was fondant, it was that smooth and picture perfect!! Philip and his staff are brilliant to work with. They respond quickly to emails and phone calls. They delivered the cake at an appropriate time to keep it from melting. The cost was $600 for 120 people, which is reasonable. I would recommend this vendor to people looking for simple and it seems like their operation could handle a lot more complex order then my simple request. I thought the frosting was a little on the buttery side (as opposed to sugary), I would have ordered the fresh strawberry layer for the whole cake because the white cake/white frosting was a little too plain.

They gave us exactly what we asked for. The cake was pretty yummy, but not the best I've had. They do great butter cream work which was definitely the reason we chose them.

Premier Pastry is an amazing place to get your wedding cake or any cake done. We actually also had my bridal shower cake ordered from here. Each time they have been wonderful to work with. The cakes both times turned out beautiful and unlike some other wedding cakes, their cakes are delicious. True buttercreme frosting and a variety of cake flavor combinations. It is hard to pick a favorite. Even though we ordered more cake than we needed, our guests enjoyed it so much that there was only a few slices to take home at the end of the night. I highly recommend this vendor for any of your pastry needs.

Premier pastry really has the most delicious cake in Rochester. My fiance & I went to several cake places and theirs was hands-down the best. People raved about our cake. The decoration was absolutely beautiful. The only complaint I had was the florist left the cake flowers there for the baker to put on, but apparently no one put them on. So $65 for cake flowers that were arranged by some random staff member at my venue. Wasn't thrilled about that, but everything else was spectacular.

Working with Philip to design my wedding cake was a pure joy. Not only was he willing to try my crazy design, but he also worked with me on my last minute changes. The cake turned out absolutely spectacular and I am still receiving compliments on it months later! Definitely worth the time to sit and talk with Philip regarding your ideas and of course to see his fabulous display room. Oh and not to mention how great it tasted! You won't be disappointed - this is definitely the place to go if you are looking for those finer artistic details.

cake was beautiful and tasted great. lots of flavors to chose from and the prices are very reasonable given the high quality of the cake and the design. I think they're the best in Rochester. They worked with me to take a cake I saw in a Martha Stewart magazine and blend it with the theme of our wedding and make it a bit more 'ours' They also worked really well with my florist to design flowers for the top and around the cake. I was only disappointed with one tiny aspect of my cake-- they told me that they were using molds for one layer's decoration but instead they did it by hand and up close it didn't look great. but aside from that... they were great and I felt like I could trust them to do it right the whole way through I didn't worry about the cake! They also do really good desert trays.
