Premier Piano

We hired Jocelyn to play at our wedding ceremony and it was one of the best decisions we made! She showed that wonderful combination of a strong, secure technique and a beautiful depth of artistry. We received so many compliments from our guests on how special her music made our ceremony. Not only did her piano playing set the perfect mood for our ceremony, she was so wonderful to work with as well. Jocelyn was attentive, kind, encouraging, and offered wonderful suggestions about pieces of music to use and where to place them during our ceremony. One of my favorite suggestions she offered, was to use a special piece of music for our ring bearer and flower as they walked down the aisle, which we did, and the piece of music she played accompanied their walk down the aisle so perfectly and made it so very special for them. Jocelyn was readily available to consult and collaborate, offering insightful and creative suggestions/feedback along the way. I had a specific piece of music I wanted for our ceremony - she listed to it once and was able to play it by ear during our initial meeting! She also attended our rehearsal, which was so helpful and eased my bridal anxiety knowing she was able to test out the piano onsite before our ceremony. We ended up having to have the piano tuned before the ceremony, so we were so glad she was there for the rehearsal and informed us the piano needed tuning. Jocelyn is a true joy to work with on all counts, and one of the finest pianists I have had the pleasure of listening to. I highly recommend her! My husband and I both agree, hiring Jocelyn was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Jocelyn was so helpful and wonderful to have for our wedding. Our plans changed slightly due to COVID and she adapted and worked with everything. She was great in helping us decide on music and even sent us snippets of her playing songs so we could think things over and choose exactly what we wanted. My son got married at St. Gabriel’s in September. He and his bride had very specific music they wanted played. They talked it over with Jocelyn who was very easy to work with. She played the songs they requested so beautifully and improvised unknowingly to the guests a needed. I would recommend her to anyone. Jocelyn played the music for our wedding ceremony in September. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were all over the place when deciding what music we wanted so she spent an hour with us one evening playing songs and making recommendations to help us narrow down our choices. We were really worried about finding musicians to perform the songs my daughter wanted for her wedding and time was running short.. She knew she wanted a pianist, a cellist and violinist but we were struggling with putting the trio together ourselves. How fortunate we were to find Jocelyn!!! She put our mind at ease. She not only is a beautiful and accomplished pianist who was classically trained and plays by ear with perfect pitch -- but she also wrote the music parts for violin and cello and coordinated all the rehearsals. She was easy to work with, adaptable, dependable and downright fun! We would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Jocelyn added the extra touch of class we were looking for at our low-key wedding reception! Her piano playing was perfect and stress-free. We didn't have a playlist so Jocelyn learned what we liked and what we didn't like so she could personalize the selections. She is lovely to work with and is eager to please.
