We needed an officiant in MD to marry us privately before we headed out to do our celebration with family and friends in another state. Ed gave us reasonable pricing options and we chose to have him come to our home. We communicated via email in the months leading up to our ceremony. He was always responsive. He offered to speak as much or as little as we desired at the ceremony. About a month before our ceremony, we ran into Ed at a trail race. He recognized us even though we'd only had one 30 minute Zoom call several months earlier. It was great to interact with him about running and to meet his wife. Ed came to our home for our ceremony the morning after a day and night of steady rain. We planned to go to a stream behind our house to make it official. Ed arrived wearing a suit and dress shoes. I asked him if he minded walking down to the stream where it might be muddy. He gave an upbeat response saying he was into it. We talked for awhile in our house before heading down to the stream. Great conversation about a wide variety of topics from running to family to life. All casual and relaxed. We headed down to the stream. Ed said some words about marriage. He asked about the significance of the stream. He created a vibe where we could be open about life. It was beautiful at all times. While he did express words that he had prepared, he spent most of his time off script, completely in the moment. That is exactly what we wanted. Everything he said was perfect. After we exchanged vows and kissed, he took pictures of us. It was just the three of us. It was a perfect experience. Ed is an outstanding officiant and a great dude. I hope to stay in touch with him through the years. I believe many people who have worked with Ed will feel the same way.

We signed up for the coaching sessions too, which we highly recommend. You want to start marriage off on the right foot. Those sessions helped form the foundation of our marriage. We booked him about 1 minute after the intro meeting. He is personable, has great energy, and truly cares about your wedding and making it perfect for you. He was extremely flexible with our schedule and the time we had before the wedding. He offers tons of resources and advice to help you plan your perfect ceremony. He put our mind at ease through the whole process. Rehearsal went very smoothly and he walks you through everything you need to know for your big day. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect, it was everything we dreamed of and Pastor Ed played a HUGE part in that. So many of our guests came up to me after and said how much they loved our officiant. He really feels like family now! I could not recommend him or Premier Wedding Pastors more!
