He even found a way to incorporate a family Bible I had into the ceremony - even though last minute we realized the passage we chose to read from it was not in the Bible! He was able to rework it last minute to perfectly fit our ceremony. Pastor Ed went above and beyond to make our wedding wonderful. We are so grateful for him!

Our premarital sessions were amazing because it felt like we were just hanging out with a good friend while also working through and learning such valuable tools for a healthy relationship and marriage. Wedding ceremonies can certainly be nerve wracking, but having Pastor Ed standing right there with us gave us such calming relief. However, after much consideration, we decided to explore an elopement ceremony, and one a 90 degrees+, Saturday, in mid-June decided to look at wedding venues along the Chesapeake Bay. Our first and what would be our final destination, was the Herrington on the Bay, MD. The views out on to the Chesapeake, at the Herrington, are stunning and we felt, although our families wouldn't be there, it would make our elopement feel special. After landing on the Herrington, we then made the decision to use zoom, to give our immediate family the opportunity to share in our special day. However, what started out as immediate family, then grew to friends and family. Without even knowing it, we were filming the final episode of the Bachelor! The only difference was, that I was the director, film crew, DJ, as well as the groom! The reason I am providing so much context to our virtual wedding, is to help anyone reading this understand how much of an amazing support Pastor Ed Choy was in his officiating of our wedding. Pastor Ed set up an initial zoom consultation for us a month out from the wedding and provided a starter outline of what our wedding could look like, along with lots of helpful resources to help us write our vows and select readings, He was always flexible, but the resources he provided, as well as overall calm demeanor, helped to take the stress away. We had several zoom calls on the lead up to our wedding and he was always accessible anytime we needed him. For our zoom wedding, Pastor Ed was wearing a lapel mic, so that our virtual guests could hear him well. He was always very aware of everyone joining us virtually and MC'd the wedding as if he was hosting a TV show! He has a voice that was made for the radio and we got such positive feedback from our zoom guests, of how Pastor Ed helped to make our guests feel as if they were there with us on the Chesapeake. Whether it virtual or live, I would highly recommend Premier Wedding Pastors to help guide 7 support you on your special day!
