About this vendor
As of 2026, Preoccupied Bride offers digital wedding services to busy engaged couples to ease the stress of planning and get organized for the big day.
The world is a busy place. Careers, families and more (sleep is important too!) take over the 24 hours that are given to each person every day. That leaves little time for planning special life events and implementing the details. That’s where Preoccupied Bride comes in.
Preoccupied Bride understands the pressure couples experience when they are ready to start the wedding planning process. Our digital wedding services provide guidance and support to couples, whatever stage of wedding planning they are in—from newly engaged and don’t know where to begin, to part way through and want help to keep going, or on the last leg of planning and need a push to finish on a strong note.
Preoccupied Bride works best with couples who are organized (or want to be!), have a solid idea of the style and feel they would like for their wedding day, prioritize guest experience, and are most excited about marrying their best friend rather than having an Instagram wedding. They’re not too concerned with having everything be “perfect” on their wedding day but instead enjoy the moments that truly matter with the people who matter most to them. They trust Preoccupied Bride’s work and experience to bring it all together.
Preoccupied Bride believes in love and welcomes the chance to work with anyone and everyone.

We truly had the best wedding planner in the world. Maya handled every single step of our wedding with an incredible level of professionalism, expertise, and ease. From start to fi...
nish, she made the entire process feel smooth, organized, and completely stress-free. Beyond her talent and attention to detail, Maya is genuinely kind, friendly, and pours her whole heart into her work. She consistently went above and beyond, always one step ahead and making sure every detail reflected our vision. We could not have had the wedding of our dreams without Maya. If you are lucky enough to work with her, you will feel fully supported, cared for, and confident every step of the way.
We chose Maya as our wedding planner after hearing my aunt rave about how flawlessly a wedding ran under her guidance. It was so seamless that you barely noticed she was there, yet...
everything behind the scenes was executed perfectly. We later referred her to a friend and saw her in action at their wedding, which only confirmed how exceptional she is!
Throughout the planning process, Maya was an absolute lifesaver. Venue selection was especially challenging for us, and she helped us navigate every obstacle with patience, clarity, and unwavering support. She is a true wealth of knowledge when it comes to what works (and what does not) during an event as big as a wedding. Every piece of advice she gave turned out to be spot on, from the flow of parent speeches to timing our entrance and first dance. She also has an incredible ability to predict exactly how long things will take, which made the entire planning timeline feel effortless.
On the wedding day, Maya was everything we needed and more. My husband and I got ready together without friends or family, and she helped me into my dress, which is a moment I will always treasure (Maya truly goes above and beyond!). The entire day ran exactly on schedule, every vendor arrived on time, details were placed perfectly, and any last-minute issues were handled quietly and gracefully. From our perspective, nothing went wrong, which is the biggest testament to her expertise.
Maya is calm, personable, detail oriented, and a fantastic problem solver. She has strong relationships with vendors and communicates beautifully, keeping us on track with big decisions and small tasks alike.
Our wedding day was truly perfect. We keep looking at each other saying, "We cannot believe that wedding was our wedding!" Our guests cannot stop talking about the ceremony, food, music, and venue. The only "complaint" we have is that the day went by too fast, but thanks to Maya, it was everything we dreamed of and more.
We are endlessly grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!
After capturing hundreds of weddings over the last decade, I can attest to how impactful it is to have a good planner! Maya is always on top of the details and carries out the day ...
with a smile on her face. Our brides love working with her and so do we!
Maya provided full service wedding planning for our wedding in October 2023. Her vendor recommendations were spot-on for what we had envisioned for our wedding. She had recommended...
vendors for every category and ultimately we had selected Room 1520 for our venue and Liz Rae for our officiant per her recommendations. Maya also managed the communication with all of our vendors and did a great job ensuring that everyone was following through on next steps in the timeframes they needed to.
In addition, Maya helped allocate our budget towards different categories of expenses based on our priorities and built out a detailed timeline for the day of our wedding. She was very diligent in making sure that everyone was able to stay on track for our timeline and that all of our vendors delivered on creating a memorable experience just like we had envisioned.
Overall I highly recommend Maya’s full service wedding planning. She was a delight to work with!
We had the incredible pleasure of working with Maya (Preoccupied Bride Events, Inc.), and we're beyond grateful for her guidance and expertise as she walked us through the process ...
of planning one of our favorite days. With Maya's expertise, we were able to turn our wedding vision into a reality. Her creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills were invaluable in making the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. If you're seeking a wedding planner who combines exceptional talent with genuine passion, we wholeheartedly recommend Maya for a seamless and personalized experience.
When we started planning we knew we didn’t have the time or desire to do it all ourselves. Maya was one of several planners we talked to (all found on The Knot) and the choice to g...
o with her was easy — extremely personable, interested in her couples, and balances her experience with a clear desire to get the job done for you.
We loved working with Maya. She gave us a great road map, held us accountable to deadlines, and was available for advice throughout, no matter how big or small the question, without being over-bearing. And while there’s no escaping the busy period right before your big day, Maya was right there with us — she thought of things we didn’t and took care of things we probably still don’t know about.
She was fantastic on day-of as well, and we loved getting to know her husband (who was with her) on our wedding day. They make a great team and we felt like we were in great hands the whole time.
If you’re looking for what we were, cannot recommend Maya enough!

vendors. Maya was precisely what we were looking for in a planner. She provided a general direction for us and gave us a very helpful planning timeline to help keep us on track. She also frequently checked up on us and was super patient with our questions in the months leading up to the wedding. Whenever we needed vendor recommendations, Maya always gave us many options and advice on what to look for when choosing a vendor. I am so thankful for her finding one of my most important vendors—the seamstress. I ordered my dress late and only had a month to get alterations done before the wedding. Maya found a last-minute seamstress who was very experienced, inexpensive, and a joy to work with.
The month before our wedding, Maya took over, and we were so grateful because we had no idea about the logistical side of the wedding. She coordinated everything between our vendors and made an extremely detailed day-of timeline. Then, on the big day, Maya made sure that everything ran smoothly. Thanks to her, our day was perfect. From contacting and choosing vendors, walking through at the rehearsal, and making sure everything was on schedule on the day of the wedding, Maya did an excellent job of handling all aspects of our wedding, and she was so sweet and personable, too. I cannot recommend her enough!

reating the timeline, contacting vendors, and fine tuning all the small details, we cannot thank her enough for being so responsive, helpful and kind! She made sure our wedding day ran smoothly. We did not initially even think we needed a wedding coordinator but cannot imagine doing it without Maya! Trust me when I say YOU NEED HER!

oes best and man, did she deliver! We had a 200 person wedding with a ton of Lithuanian traditions and Maya executed it all with so much professionalism and grace. Every detail was perfect and beyond our wildest dreams! We would recommend Maya to anyone planning a wedding, big or small!

list and timeline, making the whole process feel a lot more manageable. During the planning process, we looked to Maya for recommendations around vendors and various other details, and she always had insightful and helpful feedback.
In the few weeks before the wedding, Maya kept everything super stress free by coordinating details with all the vendors and putting together a detailed timeline for the wedding party and vendors to reference. Day of, we didn't have to worry about anything, and were able to thoroughly enjoy the entire experience. Everything from directing guests to setup was taken care of, and things couldn't have gone better! Maya is amazing and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for an awesome wedding planner. Thank you Maya!

e-wedding jitters. I truly enjoyed working with her, and appreciate all the hard work she put into the little details with the vendors including hair and makeup, photographers, catering, the venue, and florist. Thank you Maya!
Maya was the best investment we made during our wedding! Initially we had decided not to hire a planner, but things were starting to get messy especially for a wedding of our size ...
during COVID, that’s when I came across Maya’s page on Instagram.
We spoke to several planners before we met with Maya, but I remember right after our first zoom call, we knew Maya was the best planner for us. She is friendly, very approachable and easy to communicate with. No matter how many emails we had for her, she took the time to reply to everything in great detail. She was on top of things right from the beginning. She has checklists that are targeted for every couple, which helps us stay on top of things every month. She is very dedicated towards the wedding, always making sure things get done in a timely fashion. There were months when my husband and I had busy schedules and could not manage things, but she made sure everything was taken care of.
Like most weddings during COVID, our wedding too had many unpredictable events, but Maya dealt with everything in a calm manner. She coordinated with all the vendors as well the venue and took care of everything. Any problem that would come up, Maya had realistic solutions for, this helped my husband and me stay calm during the wedding process.
On the wedding week, as most brides are, I was nervous several things would go wrong but Maya made the entire week as stress free as possible . During the rehearsal at the church, she took the time to get to know the families and familiarize herself with the wedding party which made coordinating things during the wedding day, extremely smooth. On the wedding day, neither me nor my husband had to worry about any of the details, Maya took care of everything which helped us just focus on us and enjoy our special day, and everything went perfectly. To anyone who is having doubts about hiring a wedding planner, do it! Maya is the absolute best and she will
make sure you have the wedding of your dreams and that you enjoy your special day!

king with Maya and her colleagues in 2018 and it was a solid experience. What I love most about Maya is her neverending, authentic warmth and smile, and how she genuinely cares for everyone and sees everyone as her team. She is also highly knowledgeable in her craft and shares that through her conversations and newsletters. Maya is a person who loves what she does and has a passion for serving, and it shows, consistently. Not only will you gain a fabulous leader in Maya, but also a friend on your journey.

tart of the wedding week.
Our team is heavily involved in the bride and groom's entrances and dancefloor portions of the wedding so we always appreciate that we can rely on Maya's attention to detail. She is always quick and responsive if we have any questions about the wedding timeline/structure of the day. We are hoping to work with her for many more events in the future!

to help me execute our dream wedding. She is extremely detail-oriented, organized, and a kind hearted individual. She was very prompt in answering my emails within hours and she gave us the best vendor recommendations. She read through all our contracts and made sure all the fine details were taken care of. During our initial details meeting, she asked insightful questions to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted for our day. She came up with an amazing timeline of events for the day of the wedding and distributed it to all of our vendors to ensure our day went off without a hitch!! Her and her amazing team ensured that our day was stress-free and absolutely perfect!! She even went above and beyond and helped with tasks that was not in her job description! But that is truly the person she is, she will always go above and beyond for her clients!! She was a joy to work with! I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for the best day of coordinator! She truly takes pride in what she does! She will forever hold a place in our hearts when we remember back on our perfect day!! We cannot thank you enough!!

She helped us with reading through the fine details of contracts and making sure our wedding day was as stress-free as possible! We cannot thank her enough for her time, advice, and positive attitude that helped us stay on track. Thank you for putting out all our fires on the day of the wedding and going above and beyond with making sure everything went perfectly as much as possible.

son who would hire a wedding planner". I wanted a small, grounded, sane, budget friendly wedding. However, I don't like party planning. Enter Maya. I spoke with a few different planners, and she was by far the most calm, grounded, real person I spoke with. When my anxiety would rise, Maya would promptly answer my emails and help me to calmly execute my vision. Having her take over communication with our vendors during the last month before the wedding was a life saver. She really did allow me to enjoy my day so much more than if my fiancé and I would have done it all on our own. She even went above and beyond to help us with a task that another vendor wanted to charge us several hundred dollars for. Our day went so smoothly--thanks Maya!

and executing the wedding of our dreams. She is extremely organized and detailed. She really allows you to be hands-off with all the minute details with your vendors in the final weeks leading up to your wedding, which is beyond helpful. She is also honest and will be upfront with you about your ideas, which I truly appreciated planning such a big event. Maya gave such a sense of calmness heading into our wedding weekend knowing that she was in charge. We can’t thank or recommend her enough!

s two different venues. She is the epitome of calm and handles anything you throw at her. She is the only person who enjoys lists and timelines more than me and will keep everyone and everything moving smoothly. We danced the night away (both nights) because Maya handled all the logistics and vendors so we were never pulled away from the dance floor. She is 100% the reason my husband and I had a stress-free wedding.

f your life and not to get wrapped up in the details. This fit my philosophy perfectly. I'm an event planner myself, so I KNOW how much work goes into making an event appear seamless. Maya not only nailed every detail (really, she did - she also bailed me out of having forgotten a detail or 2 myself), she did it with such grace and good humor. She also comforted me when I had doubts that my wedding wasn't going to be to everyone's taste. I lucked out in hiring Maya - my husband and I had a wonderful, stressfree wedding day, and I made a new friend. Thank you, Maya and Andrew! You do fabulous work.

ure that a Day of Coordinator was a necessary expense when we were already spending so much on our wedding, but I sure am glad we hired her!! Maya saved me hours/days of work leading up to the wedding by coordinating & confirming all the day of details with my vendors. She produced an amazing day of timeline for me that allowed me to easily communicate all details to the bridal party. Then she and her assistants made sure the day of my wedding was executed flawlessly. My wedding day was 100% stress free thanks to Maya! Not only did her and her team do an amazing job but she is a pleasure to work with. She's calm and has such a kind, friendly attitude. I can't thank Maya and her team enough for ensuring my wedding day was perfect!!!
