The Preserve was absolutely stunning! The owners allow the entire weekend for rehearsal dinner, setup, ceremony, and teardown. Sherri (owner/wife) was the day of coordinator and kept us all on task based on my wishes. Gabe (owner/husband) was onsite to help with setup and teardown. They were as nice as could be! We gained access to the venue a little earlier than the contract stated and we were able to setup our Christmas trees and table settings then we had the rehearsal and the guests came to the house since we weren’t catering rehearsal dinner. Then we stayed until 9 or 10 to finish setup. The day of we were able to obtain access at 8 am to get our hair and makeup done and do any last minute finishing touches on the venue. Our ceremony was at 3 pm and Sherri made sure we were on time, the DJ was setup etc. After the ceremony, we had a cocktail hour with a few snacks while the bridal party took pictures. Dinner was catered in and Sherri and Gabe directed that during pictures. We ate and danced the night away. We made sure everyone was out of the venue by 9:30/9:45 pm so we could get home at a decent hour to get our kiddos down. Sunday we gained access to the venue around 10 am to teardown and clean up what little mess was left. Gabe was there to assist with anything we needed. I’d give this venue a 10/5 stars with how smooth they made the entire process! Thank you guys for helping make our day as smooth and special as it was!!
We loved this venue. Absolutely gorgeous. The owners are so kind, and helped with every single thing we needed on our day. Sherri acted like a day of coordinator and everything went so smooth. Venue has the perfect atmosphere in the basement for musical events too. My brother played his viola for our wedding! Perfect nook for a cocktail hour or rehearsal dinner as well. Everyone loved the venue. The scenery nearby is SO cute for photos too! 10/10 recommend. A day to remember!

Preserve provides:

- Elegant preparation areas — separate, beautifully decorated suites for a relaxed start to your day
- Three unique levels — ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception with no need to reset the space
- Comprehensive amenities — tables, chairs, linens, vendor coordination, and day-of support included
- Open vendor policy — bring your favorite desserts, florist, caterers, and DJ, etc! We only ask for you to use our bar services (priced separately).
- Outdoor ceremony option: You will also be offered use of our sister property, La Charrette Farm (www.lacharrettefarm.com) for stunning outdoor views for engagement photos. Outdoor ceremonies can also be offered depending upon time of year and availability.

Gabe and Sherri are passionate about offering couples historic and stunning settings for a relaxed weekend wedding celebration. Having been rushed through their own wedding with set timelines, they were determined to create a better experience for couples by offering a 3-day period for ample rehearsal, set-up, event and pick-up. Owning both La Charrette Farm and Preserve Marthasville, couples will have the opportunity to host their guests in truly historic sites.
