My husband and I were looking for a great catering company for our wedding and our venue recommend Preserving harvest catering. We had to postpone our wedding twice due to the pandemic, but we were really impressed by Marcia and her entire staff. They were accommodating and kept us informed about all the changes and local regulations placed during quarantine. On January 2021 the former governor Andrew Cuomo announced that weddings up to 150 people were going to be permitted again starting March 15, 2021 and we immediately received an email from Marcia informing us about the changes. Our venue wasn't able to accommodate our new desired date, but we finally got married two weeks ago after waiting for almost two years. We changed the entire menu for the third time and even though getting to this point was difficult, we are so grateful to know that we were working not only with the best in the industry, but also a group of incredible human beings. Everyone at Preserving Harvest went above and beyond to make our wedding day as magical as it was. My father keeps talking about the food and all the attention to details from the way our family members were received at the venue to the way the food was served and presented. Everything was delicious, seasonal and so colorful. After such a difficult time, our family needed a party and what a great excuse to be together again. Thankfully, were had an amazing group of vendors and while some were unavailable for our new scheduled day, Marcia and her team went above and beyond to help us get new vendors and make us feel safe while planning a bicoastal-international wedding. As so many couples around the world, we postponed our wedding from April to November-only to realized that we also needed to change our November day again. We decided to get married last Saturday at our Brooklyn apartment. Our loved ones weren't there, but Marcia came up with the idea of sending a cocktail box to everyone so that they were able to participate while watching us getting married via zoom. Marcia also made us the most incredible vegan meal for two paired with natural wines. We are having a big party next year and Preserving Harvest will be there again to help us celebrate with our family.

Marcia is punctual, professional,sweet and very personable. My fiancee and I had the opportunity of working with her and even got to experience a tasting that was delivered to our home. Great food, excellent service, very friendly and attentive staff. We had a nontraditional wedding celebration for 60 guests and they all loved the food. We had so much fun! Nailed it! Marcia and her team cooked up the most delicious and incredibly satisfying dishes. My husband is Haitian and I am Korean; we had many tastings with other caterers before finding Preserving Harvest. No other caterer was able to really capture a menu that celebrated both of our backgrounds in such a cohesive way...Marcia did that and so much more. This girl can cook like a superstar, yet she is such a humble chef. Marcia PLEASE open a restaurant so that we can continue eating your delicious food. I will come every Saturday for dinner (by the way I had two servings of everything and she packed food for James and I to take with us which I was not expecting). Marcia is not only the most creative chef that we know but she is also very organized, sweet and professional; most importantly she gives a damn about her clients and we were very lucky to have her as our caterer! I cannot say fully in words how much I love Marcia and what an amazing experience our wedding was because of Preserving Harvest. We fell in love with Marcia and her food about six months before our wedding, and she created a three course amazing meal for us in New York as a tasting. Her warm and inviting nature, free of pretentious attitude, unlike many chefs I have dealt with, and creativity, blew us away. We hired her immediately, despite blowing way over our initial budget! We were so in awe of her delicious cooking, in fact, that we told her to cook whatever she wanted for our wedding and surprise us day of (which I never in a million years expected myself to do, as a total planner). We live in California, so all planning was done via e-mail and on the phone. Marcia made the whole process so easy and painless for us, and did a lot of coordination with our site on our behalf. We had our wedding a few weeks ago. Marcia and her staff could not have been nicer. They showed up wearing matching dog socks, as they knew our dog was in the wedding. Marcia cooked our dog an amazing special meal and roasted her a bone, which ended up coming on our honeymoon with us because our dog would not let us throw it away! The meal was to die for. She created a unique, tailored menu, that was really exciting and different. Everything tasted fresh, was the perfect temperature, and met even our most foody/snobby relatives' desires. One of the highlights of the evening, which I shared already with Marcia, was concerning my cousin who has Down Syndrome and is an extremely picky eater, who mostly lives off of unseasoned meat and potatoes. My uncle watched him go for seconds on all of the different dishes (which had unique spices and flavors, and even tofu, as most of our meal was vegan). He asked him if he liked the meal and he said, "Are you kidding me, I am in Heaven!" That moment will forever last in our hearts and was such a touching addition to the day! Marcia gave us the most special wedding. While the venue and setting were also amazing, it would not have been the same without her food. I get daily phone calls and e-mails from our guests telling us this was the best wedding ever, that the food was unlike any wedding food they've ever had, and asking how can they get the recipes. Marcia has sent follow-up e-mails to check on us and whether she likes it or not, we now consider her family. Not in my wildest imagination could I have guessed we would have this experience with our wedding caterer. She is so kind, generous, genuine, in addition to being a phenomenal cook. She created a memory that we will never forget, and gave a culinary experience to some of our guests that they have never had. If you are vegan or have dietary restrictions, she is also your girl! Everyone left our wedding full, excited about her food, and content (Which literally never happens at weddings in my opinion). A million praises and hugs to Marcia and her team! Marcia is a wonder woman. She has a small team and therefore can be hard to reach on weekends when she is catering other events, but WOW, SHE CAN COOK! We had a destination wedding in NYC. Although we had a planner Marcia was actively involved in the planning throughout. Marcia listened to my requests and sent few different quotes without hesitation. She also liaised with the hire company for the rentals which I know wasn’t an easy task but on the day she got it spot on. When Marcia sent through the food choice for the day I knew it would be amazing and it really was. The set up was perfect. The food was amazing and complimented by everyone. We didn’t have a huge budget but Marcia managed to make the bar set up and drinks very classy but which I was grateful for. Lastly her staff were amazing! From the minute we had our initial phone conversation with them, we knew that we wanted to work with Preserving Harvest; they were warm, friendly, professional and so amazingly creative. They took the time to get to know my husband and I and created a very unique and interesting menu for us based on our favorite foods. We were so very impressed by the quality of their food during our tasting that we asked the head chef Marcia to select what she wanted to cook for our wedding! Since she is a Sommelier, we were able to get an incredible beverage pairing list made for us. Every single dish was paired with a different beverage including cider, dessert wine and two specialty cocktails. We had such a stress free wedding day, a lot of which has to be credited to Marcia and her excellent staff! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My husband and I booked Marcia (the owner) for our May 2018 wedding at Greenpoint Loft and loved working with her and her team! The food was the one part of our wedding that we wanted the guests (and ourselves) to truly enjoy and Marcia nailed it! Our guests left our wedding asking if she had a restaurant in the city that they could visit because it was SO good! Marcia is extremely involved in the planning process and takes the time to truly make every aspect of the menu personalized for the couple. She even brought over lamb shanks for our pups after the wedding so that they could have some of the food as well! She went above and beyond and will hopefully be working with us on events in the future!

Preserving Harvest catered my engagement party earlier this year and I have to say that it was a great decision selecting this company. Marcia catered a dinner party to rave reviews from not only myself, but from each and every guest. She considered dietary restrictions and delivered on all fronts. She is a lovely person and has a wonderful small business. I cannot wait to work with her again!

My partner and I decided to have a small, intimate wedding with only sixty loved ones and I wanted everything to be perfect. I have attended some weddings in the past and the food was just okay; I wanted delicious food crafted with love by an experienced chef. Marcia graduated form the French Culinary Institute and was recommended to us by one of her former instructors while we attended a chocolate making class at FCI. At first, I was impressed by her credentials, but she rally surprised us with her creativity and attention to details. My husband is Vietnamese and I am Cuban; Marcia developed an exceptional menu that celebrated both of our cultures. It was an unforgettable fusion of flavors , textures and colors. Her presentation was beautiful and her staff was amazing. I am glad that we got the opportunity of working with Preserving Harvest.

We had a beautiful wedding at a barn in the Hudson Valley and Marcia was able to incorporate many of the vegetables grown at my parents' farm. The food was delicious and the service was flawless. Aaron and I had so much fun; we danced the entire night as we knew that there was nothing to worry about because we were working with the most amazing caterer. Best decision ever!

Preserving Harvest was the perfect choice for my wedding, serving the food of my dreams. Marcia's food was one of the things that people talked about the most, always commenting on how it was the best wedding dinner they have ever been too and complimenting us for it! Food was among the things I considered most important for my wedding, as I had some bad experiences as a guest and I wanted to avoid that boring food that you can see around. I was looking for plates that looked and tasted fresh and Marcia had some amazing recipes for that! Flavors and style were impeccable, the plating was very well curated and visually pleasing, chic but simple and the portions were perfect. Her food was perfectly crafted, tasty and colorful. The selection on the menu is very good, we could pick plates that worked with the overall sophisticated and earthy feel I was going for. The selection at the cold cuts tables was amazing, the cold meats were truly delicious. One of the highlight were the hors d'oeuvres served during the cocktail hour, so many choices and flavors and they all looked beautiful and tasted amazing! Every course was wonderful, served beautifully and on time. The catering staff was also very polite and friendly. Marcia is lovely and really takes care of every detail and cared about serving the bets food to my family and friends. I was really proud of our choice and happy to have worked with her at my wedding!

We chose Preserving Harvest for our farm themed wedding in Easton, CT. Working with Marcia and her team was such an incredible experience for us and she was very conscious and attentive to our needs and requests.
