Aleksi is a very talented musician as well as smart, nice and personable. He took the time to talk to us in advance and understood our style of music, the theme of our wedding and made it a special one. His music was enjoyed by all and our guests raved about him. I would love to and will hire him again for other occasions.
Aleksi was our violinist at our park wedding on August 23, 2025 in San Francisco and he was absolutely fantastic. He and the other two musicians arrived early, played beautifully and were easy to communicate with before and after the performance. We had numerous guests comment how wonderful the music. Given the venue was outside it I also appreciated their ability to make sure the music was heard by all of our guests but did not disrupt the neighborhood. Aleksi played before our ceremony, during and after at the reception. I highly recommend him. Thank you for making our day special!

Presidio Artists is a San Francisco Bay Area wedding music agency, and we love helping couples find the right sound for their day. We book live musicians for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and destination events, whether you need music for a ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception.
Our musicians have performed with the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Ballet, SFJAZZ, and even at the Super Bowl, so you're getting real professional experience behind every performance. That said, our favorite part of the job is working with you directly to figure out what fits: your venue, your guest list, your vision, and your budget.
We offer solo violin for processionals and intimate settings, string duos and trios for smaller ceremonies and receptions, and full string quartets or chamber ensembles for larger weddings. For cocktail hours and receptions, we can bring in jazz duos, trios, and quartets with piano, bass, guitar, and saxophone. We also play corporate events, galas, client parties, anniversaries, birthdays, and engagement celebrations.
We book weddings and destination events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, San Jose, Palo Alto, Napa Valley, Sonoma, Marin County, Santa Cruz, and Monterey, and we're happy to travel further for the right destination wedding. From your first message to us through the last set of the night, we aim to make the process easy and the music something your guests remember.

Aleksi Zaretsky
Founder
Aleksi Zaretsky is a Grammy Award–winning violinist and the founder of Presidio Artists, bringing world-class musicianship to weddings and private events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. He has performed with some of the most celebrated ensembles in the country, including the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, SFJAZZ, the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, New Century Chamber Orchestra, and the Monterey Symphony. In 2023, Aleksi won a Grammy Award for Best Orchestral Performance.
His career has taken him from concert halls to the world’s biggest stages - performing at Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors, and at the 2026 NFL Super Bowl alongside Green Day. He has collaborated with an extraordinary range of artists, from violinist Joshua Bell and conductor Michael Tilson Thomas to jazz legend Kenny Barron and singer Billy Ray Cyrus. Aleksi has recorded for the Pentatone and Avie labels and been featured on PBS, CNN, and KDFC.
Through Presidio Artists, Aleksi brings that same caliber of artistry to life’s most meaningful celebrations. He personally curates every ensemble - from solo violin to full string quartets - and oversees musician selection and repertoire for each booking, ensuring couples receive thoughtful, polished music tailored exactly to their day.
