My husband and I had a blast filling out our questionnaire! Jimmie asked questions and offered advice when we failed to find an answer. Getting married has so many stressful moments, especially when you don't belong to a church or have a specific religion. Choosing Jimmie gave us peace of mind when it came to one of the biggest stresses. He was the man who would marry us and we were confident that he would find the perfect words on such an important day for us....and he did. Our family and friends were so impressed and they continuously took the time to tell us how much they enjoyed the ceremony and the words Jimmie chose. My husband and I are so thankful for his help, support and beautiful words. We both highly recommend Jimmie.

t turned out that he works weddings with my chosen photographer on a pretty regular basis, so things worked out beautifully all around. The first time we met Rev. Stafford, we knew we had chosen the right person. His down-to-earth personality and sense of humor were a great fit for us. We had fun sharing anecdotes about ourselves and our relationship to help him craft our ceremony and were happy to find someone willing to perform a completely secular ceremony who still had credentials that would please the more traditional members of our families. That being said, we were absolutely blown away by the ceremony that Rev. Stafford put together for us. He had made suggestions to us previously regarding the vows themselves, which we had gladly taken--however, the rest of the ceremony was completely his creation. We were somewhat nervous not knowing what would be said beforehand, but he delivered in a big way. I was most impressed by the fact that he, knowing that my favorite band is the Monkees, dedicated part of the ceremony to reciting lyrics from one of their more obscure songs that just happened to perfectly sum up our feelings on that day. Our guests are still talking about how perfect the ceremony was, and how much it reflected our personalities--most of them thought we put the entire thing together ourselves! Of course, we didn't take credit :) If you want your wedding ceremony to be unique, personal and memorable, I couldn't recommend Prestige Wedding Officiants enough!

uring the rehearsal and ceremony- he checked in to make sure we were on track and not freaking out on a few occasions. Jason and I filled out a questionnaire so Jimmie could personalize our ceremony. He even told us he made some last minute tweaks to make it even MORE special and customized... we definitely did not have a run- of- the- mill wedding! He checked in a few days after the wedding to let us know the marriage license was in the mail to the courts and the business end was in motion so I could expect when I could begin the process of changing my name. Jimmie is a GREAT speaker. We did not have a microphone and he spoke slowly, clearly and loud enough for all to hear. I would absolutely recommend Jimmie's services to any couple looking for an open- minded, creative and helpful officiant. He went above and beyond anything I could have expected. Although Jimmie created our ceremony, Michael performed the duties the day of our wedding. The transparency in communication between the two of them was very evident as it seemed Michael had wrote the ceremony himself. Both officiants were clearly spoken and were compassionate listeners. I am so pleased with the services provided, I cannot wait to have a vow renewal in order to hire Prestige Wedding Officiants again!

Jimmie let us know up front that we wouldn't see the content of our ceremony beforehand, and if we needed control over that, he wasn't for us. We really appreciated his honesty and having one less thing to worry about (because there's no need to worry if he's writing the ceremony). He spoke with us on the phone multiple times prior to the wedding and took the time to meet with us one evening for as long as we cared to talk. This was great for us to be able to better understand his style and for him to get to know us, but by the end it felt like we were meeting with a friend. Not only did we appreciate how personal the ceremony was, but it has been the most highly praised part of our wedding day by our guests. We would recommend him to anyone at the drop of a hat. If you want someone who is professional and gives you a ceremony based on your relationship, Jimmie is your guy. If you choose Jimmie we hope you enjoy your ceremony as much as we did!

eal. To be honest, the price was a little over what we had budgeted for an officiant, but I felt so strongly that he understood and respected what I was hoping my ceremony to be, that I booked him. (I figured the ceremony is the reason for the celebration & to have a ceremony, as I envisioned, is worth a very small amount of additional money.) After booking, we filled out a questionnaire to give him some personal information about ourselves, which I really liked because he was able to take that information and work it into the ceremony. I was not disappointed & couldn't have asked for a better ceremony! The length was perfect, not too long and not too short, and the content was very personal to the point that he was able to include my husband's beloved cat, whom has tragically passed, and that was SO special to both of us! The way he tied everything together was wonderful and we got several compliments on how nice our ceremony was. Even our hardcore catholic grandparents were impressed, so that should say a lot right there! He is also extremely nice, helping/calming the groom & groomsmen, but also extremely professional. He also mailed our signed copy of the license to the courthouse for us, so by the time we got back from our honeymoon, the signed copy from the judge was already there waiting. By all means he didn't have to do that, but offering & doing so was SO convenient. Jimmie will provide/create exactly what you want, how you want it. If you are looking for a meaningful, unique, personal, and special ceremony - look no further!

e made us both feel very comfortable before and during the ceremony to calm our nerves. He we above and beyond the day of our wedding because on our wedding day we arrived to our venue to see nothing had been set up by the staff for our ceremony. He took it upon himself to set things up, organize people, and even move furniture himself. He made sure every guest was given a program, bubbles to blow after the ceremony, and a chair to sit in. He saved the day! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking!

jimmie's service reflects what is clearly exceptional talent at not only reading other human-beings, but also turning that knowledge into an original performed masterpiece. altogether, his part in the most amazing experience of my life was invaluable. despite never mentioning "god", even the most traditional of our guests did not seem to second-guess the cosmic nature of the day. :) if you are interested in a personalized, nontraditional ceremony, just trust jimmie. he knows what he is doing.
