When I cover a wedding, my aim is not only to document your special day, but also to leave you with a powerful art piece in the form of the short film celebrating your unique and beautiful love story. Many other wedding videographers are preoccupied with cranking out as many wedding videos as possible, treating your wedding like a product in an assembly line. Once filming is complete, some will even ship your footage off to a third-party editor and never look at your wedding again.
During the post-production process at my company, each film is handled with care, from finding the perfect soundtrack for your film, to capturing the most heart-felt moments during the ceremony, all while honoring your input along the way. We pride ourselves on being able to tailor each project to match the personalities of our couples, and to convey the atmosphere of the day from the sweeping scenery to the smallest details, while incorporating all of the people dearest to you in the final cut.

After seeing the final video, I would have thought there were multiple videographers, but it is just Preston being amazing at what he does, and he knows what was needed to do to make our wedding last forever. He was responsive and flexible in planning, especially given the relatively short notice that we were able to give him about our actual wedding plans. Since we aren't from the Durango area, he was able to give numerous ideas for places that we could take photos and film between our starting point and our ceremony site that fit perfectly with the natural, outdoorsy feel that we wanted for our day. Given that we were unable to meet him until the day of our wedding, he was exceptionally easy to work with.
And what a final product! From the close-ups that captured the joy and emotion of our big day to sweeping drone shots that captured why we moved our wedding to the San Juans, Preston managed to compress the best day of our lives into about 5 minutes without losing any meaning. Highly recommend for anybody looking for a videographer!

On the day of our elopement the beautiful Colorado weather through us some curveballs our way but Preston was able to make the best out of it and created a video experience I will always cherish. Our wedding was a destination wedding, so we were pumped to find Preston in Durango (we're from Austin) because he was extremely knowledgeable about the area and knew the best spots to get amazing footage. We had an elegantly themed Star Wars and Dr. Who wedding and he captured everything we wanted and made our hectic wedding day (about 200 guests, most from out of town) magical and took a lot of the stress away. We highly recommend him to locals and out-of-towners who want a gorgeous video of their wedding (or anything that needs to be filmed).
