But obviously loved when I got a chance to meet in Parkville! Having a professional from the states when having a destination wedding is an absolute must. They work on completely different time frames and communication gets tough but Stephanie never let me down! Not to mention our Mexico coordinator left us 2 weeks before our wedding! Stephanie adapted like a pro and never showed me a sign of stress! Our wedding day was beyond my expectations. Guests complimented how smoothly the entire afternoon / evening flowed. She also helped organize our welcome party & rehearsal night as we took 80+ people on a cruise. The night before our wedding - after the dinner cruise (11:30 pm) Stephanie and her husband Jack (also AMAZING) were full blown steaming my dress + bridesmaids so my family wouldn’t have to. Stephanie was the first person we contacted in our wedding planning process. Right away she started offering help and guidance. Our first step was picking a venue and date. ts and DIY your heart out but when it comes to execution day-of, you will always be ever-so-slightly "out of the moment" if you don't have someone you trust making sure that things run smoothly. I wanted my wedding day to be a day of celebration for all of my friends and family so asking one of them to essentially be a day of coordinator wasn't ideal. After a 4-hour 1:1 strategy session with Pretty and Planned to get my planning kickstarted, I knew I was going to be investing in the Event Management package.  From the moment I woke up on Monday of my wedding week, I had an overwhelming feeling of calm--I knew my wedding was in good hands. I had spent the better part of a year working with Lauren so I knew she understood my vision, what vendors were responsible for and timeline. I got to spend my wedding week luxuriating in quality time with friends and family and it all culminated with what I can unironically say was the best day of my life. I was able to be 110% in the moment with my friends, family and fiancé-turned-husband. Of all the money I spent on my wedding, the peace of mind in knowing that I had Lauren at Pretty and Planned by my side and keeping stress off my plate was the best money I spent.

I was planning a KC wedding while living in Denver and she was so accommodating and flexible on when I would be in town to have our meetings/she was still just as attentive and effective if we had to do virtual. I will forever remember my wedding day as one that went off without a hitch and that is 100% because I had Pretty + Planned there to assist with any questions or little details that needed to get sorted out. It was a big relief having a list of recommended vendors we could trust come through and make our day perfect. She handled all of our vendor communication and helped take all of the stress away, especially leading up to the wedding & on the day. She also worked with us together on all our stationery needs and even helped us create custom welcome pamphlets for our guests! Everything came out stunning. She did an amazing job making sure everything was set up beautifully for our ceremony & venue and made sure that everything went flawlessly the day of so we could spend our wedding day together and with our families. WOW did this help release so much of my stress those final weeks before the wedding day. Stephanie and I met about a month out and put together the most detailed timeline I could even imagine. She contacted all the vendors to make sure they knew the day of timeline, where to be, what time, etc. The day of the wedding Stephanie and her team ran the show like a well oiled train. I was able to fully enjoy my wedding morning, get ready with my bridesmaids and mom without a single thought of how the set up was going. Stephanie took care of the hiccups that were going on and I didn’t even know about them until they were already resolve. She truly is the best of the best! I got to enjoy every single minute of my day because she had EVERYTHING handled. More than being a wedding planner and coordinator, Stephanie is just an incredible woman. In the week leading up to the wedding, we had communication issues with one of our vendors and Stephanie was on top of it. The rehearsal day and wedding day timing and schedule was completely created by her with our partnership - down to the hour. And the result was a two day celebration that went off with no issues. Stephanie discreetly found me, we consulted, and then she managed whatever it was. I never saw her stop moving from the morning of the wedding until we turned up the lights at 1 AM. Stephanie is also well connected with resources in KC, and she was able to help us out with a few vendors that we needed, and she had creative ideas as well.
