Alena was AMAZING! We chose a videographer at the last minute, and we consider ourselves extremely fortunate that Pretty Films was free for our wedding. Alena worked well with our day-of coordinator and was always excellent in her communication. Alena simply happened to be present on the wedding day, capturing a wide variety of events. Before seeing some of Alena's work, we were debating whether or not to hire a videographer. Because of her artistic and theatrical style, as well as how effectively she was able to convey the details of each wedding, I couldn't stop watching her videos. Even though we had never met before, Alena was a breeze to work with on the day of our wedding. Alena was so amazing! She was so kind and you can really tell that she loves what she does which is so important! She was very accommodating to every request my husband and I had and was very creative with her shots. She is very professional and the best videographer I have come across! I am overjoyed with the video from my wedding! The emotion and love from that day were able to be preserved. I was hesitant to make a video in the first place, but I am SO glad I did. Pretty Films is so great at what they do! I used them as my wedding videographers, and the video came out so beautiful! They are so creative and it is fun to watch them come up with an idea and instruct us on something we never would have thought of but we always had complete confidence it would turn out cool. It's taken me a while to gather my words on how amazing the team at Pretty films was through out the entire process. Alena was VERY responsive to all of my e-mails and always had a response for me within a day. This eased my nerves as everyone wants a quick response when it comes to their big day. The first phone interview we had about what I wanted my video to be like is exactly how my video came out.

Once I watched some of their previous work, I knew that it was either them or no videographer at all because no one else has quality like them. On the day of the wedding, they were consummate professionals and I can't begin to talk about how great they were. They were readily available, even though we had location changes at the last minute due to rain. They were flexible and accommodating. Additionally, they were completely unobtrusive on the day of. There were no awkward poses or in our face camera action. Pretty Films were the PERFECT videographers to choose for our wedding. They arrived early just to get some extra context shots and to make sure the lighting was ideal. Both of our videographers clearly have such a incredible artistic eyes and we bawled our eyes out when we saw the video they made.

I searched for so long to find a videographer that was in our budget and provided a highlight video plus a full video of the entire day. Day of the videographer (sorry I think it was Sean but I don't remember because the day went by so fast) worked really well with our photographer as well. We received the video about a month later and to see the culmination of the the planning and seeing the details was priceless. The day really does go by so fast and to be able to really watch it all over again in such a cinematic way leaves me speechless. It is my own personal masterpiece and forever memento.

Truth be told, we weren't originally going to have a wedding video... At the time we thought that those funds would be more useful in other parts of the budget. As a wedding and event planner in my professional life that fact came as a surprise to everyone I talked to. But after we found out that my grandmothers would not be able to make our destination wedding, the video became a necessity... and thank goodness it did! If I had to do it all again I would have booked Maribel and the Pretty Films team immediately. From the initial consultation, to the in depth interview, they work with you on such a personal level. They really take the time to get to know you, so they are able to roll with the punches on the wedding day. While they captured every aspect of the wedding perfectly, they were never overbearing and never in our face. The film is amazing, I basically cried through the entire thing. Selecting Pretty Films was truly one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. Maribel and her team so perfectly captured the fun, joy, and love from our wedding day! When originally researching possible videographers, I was terrified of having our video feel forced or inauthentic in any way. Maribel put those fears to rest as soon as she arrived to film, making everyone in the bridal party feel completely at ease and relaxed. The entire Pretty Film team was so enjoyable to work with - from the initial emails and phone conversations, to the day of our wedding, to the final footage and package (with an adorable surprise gift), everything was so organized and professional. After receiving our highlight film, I shared the link on my Facebook so all of our guests would be able to see the video as well. I received comments, texts, and calls from not only our wedding guests, but a number of other individuals remarking on how beautiful the film turned out and how unexpectedly emotional they became while watching it (all of the feels is a real thing with Pretty Films). One of the things I cherish most about the video is being able to see so many of the amazing reactions and interactions of our guests that I would never have seen without the footage. Every time I get that "I wish we could do our wedding again" feeling, I rewatch our video and I am completely transported back to the happiest day of our lives. We got the same day's edit and everyone, including ourselves, were quite impressed. It baffles me how they shot our video and produced such an epic video in almost no time. It was the perfect tease of what was to come but let us remain on our wedding high throughout our honeymoon. Just having received our wedding video, my faith in her and her team’s abilities couldn’t have been more correct. They tied together every special moment seamlessly, and not in a dry chronological sequence (getting ready, ceremony, pictures, cocktail hour, speeches etc.). But she didn’t stop by adding just the classical moments, she added special moments or places that she knew would be dear to our hearts. For instance: capturing our last kiss before marriage (with the groom blind folded of course!), zooming in on the address of our first apartment (one spot where we took photos), involving moments with our dog (and removing the part I tripped because our dog was pulling so hard). It didn’t stop there, she added a shot of my law school as it was a few buildings away. I don't even recall mentioning it at our second meeting but she was so thorough and attentive that he remembered. But my absolute favorite part was that she included footage of my mom and I FaceTiming with her sister (my aunt) and her mom (my grandmother), who both live in Greece. Due to my grandmother’s health, they were unable to attend. There was a shot of both of them on my mom’s phone! It meant so much to my family and I that they were included. I would highly recommend Pretty Films as your videographer. I have dreamed of my wedding day since I was a little girl and from their work, I can relive it for decades to come.
