The ladies from the Pretty Hair Salon did an amazing job with hair and makeup for my daughter’s wedding at the Fairmont Pittsburgh. They were on time and a joy to work with. Heather did a fantastic job setting everything up for the big day! We can’t thank you all enough. We highly recommend this team for all of your wedding needs!

I LOVED how my hair turn out on my wedding day- and I have Angie and Jen to thank! Booking Pretty Hair salon was very easy- I spoke with Heather, the owner, multiple times and she streamlined the whole process. Additionally, their prices are so reasonable considering the outcome. Do a hair trial if you’re at all indecisive like me!! Angie and Jen are very talented and so accommodating- and they were jamming out to Christmas EDM when we were getting ready for my December wedding! They travelled to my childhood home the day of and are so personable and fun! My hair as well as my entire bridal party’s hair looked amazing AND stayed in all night, even their curls!!

Sam and Emily were fantastic and made mine and my bridesmaids’ hair all look beautiful and exactly how we all had envisioned. They were efficient and actually got us done a little bit ahead of schedule! They are so nice and personal and made the getting ready process much less stressful. I had my bridal trial ahead of time and unfortunately the original stylist left the salon, however Heather and Kala were so accommodating and quickly got me in for another trial with Sam so I felt comfortable ahead of time to alleviate any stress on wedding day.

Cannot recommend Pretty Hair Salon enough! They did hair and makeup for my bridal party and did an EXCELLENT job. They even finished ahead of schedule, leaving plenty of time for us to get to our venue. I felt beautiful, and my hair and makeup lasted all day and night! They were also wonderful and extremely accommodating with my elderly grandmother who doesn't always like being fussed over. They worked hard to keep her calm and laughing! Cannot recommend Too Pretty enough! The girls that did our hair and makeup for my wedding did an amazing job for me, the bride, as well as the bridesmaids and the mother of the groom and mother of the bride and aunt. They are willing to come to venue as well, which made the experience seamless and proficient. There is an opportunity too to get a trial run to see what you would like for your wedding day as well. Could not recommend enough!

The ladies at Pretty Hair Salon did an amazing job with our wedding hair! They were on time, got us all done with room to spare, and did a great job working alongside our makeup artist in a small-ish hotel room. Ina was my stylist and I just loved how much passion she has for hair as an art. I got so many compliments on my hair!

Pretty Salon was absolutely amazing. They did hair and make-up for 11 ladies the morning of my wedding and we ended up ahead of schedule! This team did an amazing job with hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law, and flower girl (10 total looks). Every one of us looked amazing and our styled looks lasted the entire night. They were right one time, kept a good pace for everyone, and completed all of the looks with plenty of time to spare for photos before the ceremony. Very professional and know what they’re doing.

I was a COVID bride and had to cancel my Florida wedding twice. I ended up planning my wedding in a week to be held in Pittsburgh and I couldn’t have been happier with Pretty and Too Pretty for all my bridal needs. They fit me in to get my color done within that week and then did my and my mom’s hair and makeup on the wedding day. All of the stylists at the salon that day were so nice and happy for me and it felt like family. We both left feeling so Pretty and couldn’t be more thankful for Dom, Heather, Kylie P and Jen!

Like many other brides of 2020, COVID changed my plans and 3 months before my scheduled wedding date, we had to change our church/venue/everything. I contacted Heather, the manager at Pretty, and she was able to change everything on their end smoothly with no problems for my new date. Jen and Kala listened to all of my bridesmaids with how they wanted to do their hair; they all looked beautiful. Jen also did my girls' makeup and it was flawless, of course. I had a tough time finding a salon that would do both hair & makeup, and could accommodate 10 women the day of my wedding and then I found Pretty Hair Salon! From the beginning, everyone was super helpful from the trial to the day of. All of my bridal party got in and out with no problems & they made my day stress free. Kyley did my hair & Amanda did my makeup, and both knocked it out of the park! I loved everything they did. I was worried my hair wouldn't stay up ( it did) and I was worried my makeup would start coming off by the end of the night ( it didn't). Thank you to everyone at PHS!!

Amanda and her crew were absolutely amazing. They accommodated all of our schedule changes as if they were no problem, they did everything from a simple curled hairstyle to very elaborate up-dos, and they were able to do a range of make-up on all of the different types of ladies we had! The best parts about all of the Pretty Women is that they have ideas and know what looks best on you, so if you aren't totally sure what you want, they will definitely have your best interests at heart. They will make your day perfect!

Kala, Bre, and Jess were amazing! They did such an awesome job with all of my bridesmaids' hair, as well as mine. My sisters used Pretty Hair Salon for their weddings (specifically Kala), and it was a no-brainer to also book them for mine. I had eight bridesmaids, and majority of us have thick, long hair. Kala and team knocked out our hair effortlessly and quickly, without making us feel rushed at all, yet still gave us exactly what we wanted. Having nine women walk away more than satisfied and happy with their hair is not a small feat! By the end of the night, after hours of dancing, our hair was all still in tact. Mine looked exactly like it did when Kala finished spraying it that morning. I'd highly recommend Pretty Hair Salon if you are looking for a fun team that does incredible (and long-lasting!) work.

I absolutely loved working with Val! I don't know much about makeup and she was so collaborative with creating my wedding look to be exactly what I wanted! She also did a great job with my bridesmaids and actually had enough time to get some extra people in that weren't originally wanting to get their makeup done. I'm so glad we used them for my big day!

From my initial consultation to the makeup/hair trial to the morning of the wedding, the whole team was amazing! As someone with scalp psoriasis, I have avoided going to the hair dressers for years - But the team at Pretty Hair Salon made me feel completely comfortable! Especially my hair stylist Christina (Tina), who is one of the kindest individuals I have ever met. My makeup artist, Savannah, was amazing and helped me pick the perfect shade of red that I wanted for my lips. My hair and makeup looked great all night! I would definitely recommend them to any future brides out there!

The Pretty Team did an amazing job with my bridal hair and styling 4 other girls in the wedding! I couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous updo. Christina made the whole process so simple for me as an out-of-state bride. The Pretty team came onsite the morning of the wedding and made sure we were all ready in time for pictures. Everything was absolutely perfect!! Heather did my bridal hair and makeup and I kept getting compliments all night long. From the trial, to helping schedule all 8 of my bridesmaids, they were there every step of the way! They were easy to get ahold of, and were able to travel to the hotel I wanted to get ready in. I would 100% recommend Pretty Hair Salon. Professional and beautiful work.

We recently had Kala (and I think Kyley?) do the hairstyles for my wedding. Aside from the bridal hair, they did the hair for five bridesmaids and the mother of the groom. What a great experience! When I went for my trial a few months before the wedding, I was so impressed with Kala. Not only is she an incredible stylist, but she is such a kind and enthusiastic person. It is clear that she loves weddings! I have had many updos in my life (at least 15), and Kala is by-far the most talented stylist I have had. One thing she does that is unique is that she completely curls your hair and sets it first so that it has PLENTY of volume once she starts pinning it in place. I have only ever had one other stylist who did that. Most just start pinning and do not take the time to curl and set. The hairstyles turned out beautifully. They were firmly secured, but they did not look stiff and had some natural movement to them. We also had several bridesmaids who have extremely thin hair, and Kala was able to make their updos look very full and voluminous. They were thrilled! THANK YOU! We used Pretty for our wedding day and we wouldn't have changed a thing! The girls came to our house, set up quickly, and gave us stunning up-dos! Every single one of my bridesmaids was so impressed and said that this was the first wedding they were in where they actually loved their hairstyle! Pretty was so easy to work with and always willing to work with any changes I wanted to make. During the wedding day, so many people commented on how elegant and beautiful our hair was and I couldn't agree more! Pretty salon not only did my wedding hair and make up but also made everyone from flower girl to mothers of the bride and groom look AHH-mazing! I should back up and say they helped me get wedding ready first with a lash boost, spray tan and perfect hair color down to coloring my extensions. It’s made it so convenient to have everything available in one location. The glam squad drove from Pittsburgh to Erie for our big day. This was such as great peace of mind. I was worried about trying some random place in Erie and when I found out they would travel I said where do I sign! First of all the stylists/ make up artist were on time and organized. We had such a great time and it made great memories the morning of the wedding. It was such a good feeling with all of the last second things going. Having a fun yet calm environment was exactly what I needed to start off the day. Our hair and make up stayed absolutely flawless all day! I could not have been happier! If you are getting married in Pittsburgh or near by you need Pretty!

The girls from Pretty Hair Salon are AMAZING!! Kala, Heather, Amanda and Breanne were apart of the glam squad that did my hair and makeup for my sister’s wedding this past May. I loved it so much that I booked them for my wedding next October! They showed up right on time and got through hair and makeup for 9 women in less than 4 hours. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Pretty Hair was for my daughters wedding. The hair and makeup was beautiful. We received so many compliments. One of the bridesmaids was a stylist at salon in eastern pa and she was taking notes to take back to her own salon. That’s how good the stylists were at their craft. I cannot say enough good things about Amanda. She made my bridal party all look absolutely gorgeous. She comforted my mother when she originally did not like her makeup done by Amanda's assistant. She acted extremely professional, didn't make a scene, gave my mother face wipes, and stayed after the others left to make sure my mom felt and looked as special as she deserves to on her daughter's wedding day! Amanda is incredible. I can't give 5 stars due to confusion when I called 2 months before my wedding asking if there was a hair stylist available to come with the crew. They told me yes, but no one was actually added to the schedule. I'm very thankful they fixed it and sent Bri to us, her work was flawless. My bridal party loved her and she made amazing updos! However I do feel that extra stress though could have been avoided. I loooove Pretty though and would recommend to anyone!

Sarah and her crew did hair and makeup for me and my gigantic bridal party (13 people all together). They came to our hotel so we didn't all have to travel. They were so wonderful-- so professional and cool calm and collected while I was freaking out inside. :) I felt so pretty on my wedding day and all my girls were happy with their looks too. Kara is a fabulous, fun stylist and I highly recommend her for any bridal/prom/special occasion updo! She does fantastic work and was able to almost exactly replicate the picture of what I was looking for for my wedding day hair! When I first did a trial and showed friends and family the picture I had from Pinterest and then the picture of my hair after she did it they were amazed! I even had one of those Halo hair extensions to help get the look I wanted and she got it spot on! The day of the wedding she came to my hotel room to do my hair and my two bridesmaid's. She arrived on time (even a little early), made minor changes to a couple of requests without a problem, and completed everyone's hair in plenty of time. My bridesmaids and I loved their do's and couldn't be more pleased with their work. She did a fabulous job making everyone feel pretty on my special day! The staff is great!! I worked with Sarah and I would highly recommend her!! She did my hair and makeup. I felt absolutely beautiful after all her hard work. I had extensions in and she placed them in correctly and they did not move at all. My eyelashes did fall off - because I was a crier walking down that aisle. :) Pretty Hair came to my house and provided service for myself, 6 bridesmaids and my mother. The ladies in my life were stunning!! They did updos and makeup for everyone. My mother's hair and makeup was gorgeous. At first, my sisters eye makeup was a little too dark, but Sarah fixed it and she was much happier! My bridesmaids all have different type of hair, thick, thin, perm, crazy curly, and straight. Each staff member knew exactly what to do and their hair stayed like that the entire night! Definitely do the trial run for hair and makeup - its worth the money and eases your nerves! Very pleased with their service!!

Val and Breanna did onsite hair and makeup for myself and my attendants for my wedding! Val helped my vision for my hair come true with just a couple pictures and made all of us look FANTASTIC using their own artistry and skills without any further direction. Most of us had never had such things professionally done before, so we trusted them to do a good job and they did not disappoint! The girls worked quickly and were fun to chat with the whole morning. I had my hair and makeup done for my wedding, and the girls at Pretty Hair did an amazing job! BreAnna did my hair exactly the way I had pictured it, and ensured that it stayed set for the entire night - I still had curls the next morning! Samantha did my makeup light and simple, and I got tons of compliments on her work. The entire process was very fun for my bridesmaids and me, and the staff made sure we had a great day!

Loved working with Pretty! They did a perfect trial before the wedding and showed up to my hotel on time, even though it was super early on a Saturday morning! They worked with all of my bridesmaids to do individual styles and even worked with my MOH (who had recently had a baby) to make sure they could fit in her hair and make-up to work on her schedule!

As an out of town bride I was extremely nervous about choosing someone in Pittsburgh to do my hair and makeup for our wedding day since my usual stylist was unable to travel. I anticipated having to try many salons and stylists before I found the perfect fit, so I scheduled a hair and makeup trial at Pretty Salon in September 2015 even though our wedding wasn't until April 2016. Pretty was my first stop on the list, and after seeing what a beautiful job Kala & Heather did I knew I didn't need to try anywhere else! Heather listened to my requests to make my makeup look natural and gave me the perfect airbrushed look, while Kala nailed my hairstyle on the first try as well. On our wedding day they arrived to our hotel exactly on time and we had so much fun getting ready! Together Kala & Heather made me and all my bridesmaids beautiful. I can't thank Pretty Salon enough!

Pretty Hair Salon was incredible! My wedding was on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in Pittsburgh, PA. Amanda Boone was my make up artist and there were several other girls associated with the salon who styled hair for my bridesmaids and myself. Pretty was very accommodating for all of my needs and my bridal party needs. Our number of who was getting services fluctuated a few times, but they worked with us and were so patient and friendly. They arrived promptly at my mother's house in Wexford early the morning of the wedding and were extremely efficient. I loved all of my bridesmaid's hair and make-up. We had a braided theme and each of my girls had a unique yet beautiful and stylish look within the theme. I wanted a braided crown within a braided crown with my crystal halo sandwiched in between. It was a very unique hairstyle and my stylist nailed it with the aid of a few of my hair extensions intertwined. My make-up was rather natural with a slight dramatic twist...bolder eyes and a dramatic deep red lip to match with the autumn colors of the wedding. I would highly recommend Pretty Hair Salon to any bride and bridesmaid. I'm so grateful for their services and for making us all look so wonderful on the most special day of my life! THANK YOU!

I booked this vendor a month before my wedding for hair and makeup services, on-site at my hotel, for myself, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my then-fiancé’s mom. I had previously booked another vendor, and they canceled on me a month before my wedding. They were very nice, accommodating, and communicative. I was unable to do a hair and makeup trial with them since we were having a destination wedding. They arrived at my hotel at 6am since the wedding was at 11am, and they were very prepared and delivered beautifully. They were pricier than I was expecting, but completely worth it. Definitely recommend!

I am slightly biased in this category, as I have been going exclusively to Pretty since I moved to Pittsburgh in 2009. I do not visit frequently, maybe once or twice a year if I'm lucky, but I do not go anywhere else to get my hair done. I have never had a bad stylist, and they are so reliable. I had Kayla do my updo for the wedding, and she was fantastic. During our trial she listened to what I wanted, looked at two pictures of hair styles I had liked and then saw a photo of my wedding dress, and gave me the exact style I was looking for!! She even created a little bouquet of baby's breath for my hairpiece! Day of the wedding, she also did my mother's hair, who happened to be at the hair trial, and blew her away with the style she created for her. Brooke also came to help with my bridal party at the hotel, and she was spectacular as well! Neither of my sisters had any idea what they wanted, and these girls made them look beautiful! They were both so fun, energetic and sweet the day of the wedding, they were a great addition to the vibe we had in the suite. The makeup artist we had, CJ, was also great - he made us look pretty while keeping it natural, which was the look we all were going for! I would recommend this salon for bridal parties, either on site or in salon.

I was referred to Pretty by a friend when I was looking for hair and makeup artists for my September 5th wedding. I was honestly blown away by not only the talent of the girls at Pretty but also by how sweet they are and how they truly listen to their customers. Kala did my hair and she actually LISTENED to how I envisioned by hair to be and delivered on my request! Amanda did my make-up and I was blown away by how beautiful it looked and how long it lasted. I had heard other people say that airbrush makeup could look heavy in person, but she made me look flawless in person and in photos!! The day of the wedding Kala, Jordan and Amanda showed up at our hotel on time and ready to work! They were so much fun the day of the wedding and brought so much positive energy. All of my bridesmaids (as well as my mom and niece) looked absolutely beautiful and were so happy with their hair/makeup. I could not have asked for a better team for the big day. I will definitely be going back to Pretty as a regular customer and would recommend them to anyone!! Thanks girls!

Pretty is absolutely amazing! They did my sisters wedding and now mine. I went for a trial a few months before the wedding that I absolutely loved and my wedding day hair and makeup were even better! Throughout the night my hair and make up didn't fall and neither did the other girls. They did 8 ladies plus flower girls and we still had lots of time to hand out and relax. I would definitely recommend them for your wedding day or any other event! They come to you so you don't have to deal with traffic or anything else on your wedding day. Love them!

I would recommend Pretty hair saloon for any bride and her wedding party. Amanda and Heather B were amazing. At my consultation they really tailored my makeup and hair to match my dress. The day of the wedding was very stressful but the staff at Pretty was so fantastic. I had such a wonderful experience that I go to Amanda exclusively for my hair now, and every time I leave the saloon my hair looks incredible.

Amanda & Jordan came to another salon to do the makeup only. My daughter had been going to another salon for years for her hair. They came on time and worked with our salons hair stylists so that when one person was done they would go right to the make up chairs. We had two grandmas, two moms, bride and 3 bridesmaids. We all looked beautiful and left very happy with our make up. My daughter (bride) got airbrushed and the rest of us had regular make up. Everyone's make-up looked beautiful all day and night and the Amanda & Jordan were wonderful considering we didn't do a dry run ahead of time! Would most certainly recommend them to anyone!

If you want a glam squad, hire Pretty Hair Salon. I wish I could hire them to get me ready everyday. Kala was wonderful and organized leading up to the big day. They sent a team of 4 on-site for my bridal party including Mom's. Kala, Amanda, Kara and Dom were great! Everyone looked beautiful. It rained on my wedding day and my hair did not even frizz. It stayed perfect throughout the whole day/night. My makeup was unreal! Use the airbrush makeup!

I cant express how satisfied I was with pretty hair salon. Samantha and Heather B. were amazing from start to finish. They showed up at the hotel on time and well prepared. They made me look like an absolute princess. I've never seen myself look so pretty. I was very impressed. Not only did they make me look beautiful but my girls as well. I have to mention Heather also saved the day for one of my bridesmaids. She had got her hair done elsewhere and showed up at the hotel in tears because it wasn't what she said she wanted. Heather grabbed a few pins and made her look amazing and she didn't even charge us. I'm so thankful I chose pretty for my wedding. I highly recommend pretty hair salon. I've already been back to the salon since my wedding for highlights and was super happy when I left and I felt so PRETTY!

I absolutely loved my hair and makeup! Kayla and Dom were fantastic. They arrived at my venue early, and the day went perfectly! All of my girls and my mom loved their hair and makeup. Val did my hair color at the salon a week before my wedding. Everyone at the salon is wonderful! Highly recommend!!

Stop all of your wedding planning and call Pretty immediately! Kala did my hair and Amanda did my makeup. Both were talented and professional and did an amazing job! They gave me the exact look that I wanted for my wedding day. All of the guests complimented their work. Definitely spend the extra money on airbrush, you won't regret it!

I would absolutely recommend Pretty for doing your wedding hair for your an your bridal party. We had Pretty come to do my hair and makeup, as well as for my mother, mother-in-law and several of my bridesmaids and the flower girl. They arrived on time and were happy and calm, which was so nice to have while you have those pre-wedding nerves. I was surprised when Heather B came to the house instead of Shea, who did my trial, but she had an emergency and was not able to come. There was also Heather B. NAILED my hair. I showed her the trial photos and told her what I liked/didn't like about that hairstyle, and she did it exactly how I described it...but even better. She was able to give me a lovely, natural half-up half down style that incorporated a flower comb from my mother's veil, and looked awesome. The only negative thing I will say is that my curls started falling by the time the reception started, and were nearly gone by the end of the night. Given the amount of dancing, I guess it's understandable, but I was hoping my hair would stay a bit better. Regardless, I still looked gorgeous, and my hair was awesome in all the formal portraits. My airbrush makeup DID stay put the whole day, and into the next day actually. Heather was so kind to help cover several scars I had that I was self-conscious of on my arms. I felt completely comfortable and confident all day. The hair for all the bridesmaids and mothers was also SO gorgeous. CJ and Heather B made us all look like movie stars.
