Pretty Post Calligraphy

Jennifer is truly a talented artist with an impeccable vision! I was completely swept away when I found her through our wedding venue in New Orleans (Race + Religious) - they featured a venue illustration on their Instagram, and I was in LOVE. I set out to work with Jennifer and immediately was taken by how friendly and personable she was over email. I live in NYC, she's in Fort Worth, and the wedding was in Nola ... so there was tons of distance in our planning for the invitations, but I found Jennifer to be really up front with her timeline, any constraints, and to meet the deadline we were shooting for (she didn't disappoint - right around the holidays, too - we were super appreciative for that). A few things that stuck out about Pretty Post: Our wedding invitations were simply a masterpiece! I was blown away with how absolutely STUNNING they were and how well they matched our "vintage glamour" wedding vibe. And our guests were as well! I got personal compliments about the invitations from half of my guest list (people texting me and putting them up on Instagram). Our planner even asked about the calligrapher to keep in her contacts! We ended up getting partial calligraphy, partial typography, and a GORGEOUS venue illustration (that was my splurge, so worth it). Jennifer even sent us the file of the illustration so we could have it forever (we printed a few copies of the illustration to go with our wedding decor – at the welcome table and another spot in the venue). People raved about those details. And, the best part is that I have a copy of that illustration now up in our home by our wedding pictures : ) And Jennifer was super accommodating in a number of ways - budget, style, review process, even personalizing our invitations with a (very detailed) vintage stamp collection, which she volunteered to assemble for us in order for us to meet our deadline (would highly recommend the vintage stamp route, definitely sets your wedding invitations apart). She is a gem of a human and such a wonderful person to do business with! I found her to be extremely responsive (day of, usually) and one of the kindest vendors I worked with during wedding planning. When you are under the stress of your upcoming wedding, this is exactly the kind of person you want to work with. Jennifer is a top notch artist and business woman – book her, her calligraphy and invitation design services are worth every penny and you will not be disappointed! Jennifer(Pretty Post Calligraphy)is a true calligraphy artist! Her work and paper products are exceptional and high quality. Jennifer directed us with design and the selection of our beautiful invitation suite. Her exquisite calligraphy was evident on all our invites, place cards, all reception signage and guest seating board (including wax seals). Jennifer even sketched our beautiful venue location and framed it as piece of art which was displayed on the guest escort board. She also used our crest and applied it to a large welcome mirror which turned out very special. Many guests commented on the beautiful invitations and her calligraphy well before the wedding. Furthermore, many guests took home their gorgeous place cards and snapped photos of them! Jennifer’s work provided beautiful details that made our wedding uniquely special! So, so pretty; Pretty Post!!!

Jennifer did a fantastic job on our chalkboard art and invitations. She has excellent taste and had great ideas for our signage. She delivered timely and I would definitely recommend her.

Jennifer made many signs for our wedding showers and made the place cards for our wedding. She did a fabulous job and is extremely talented. Jen, I can't thank you enough for all your hard work and love for all things wedding related!
