We loved Pretty Prairie Farm! It was just what we were looking for in a wedding venue and we got to decorate and supply whatever we wanted, which was so nice! Todd and Jill were very helpful along the way, as well as the head wedding coordinator, Leah! We had the best experience and all of our guests loved the venue as well!

If you are looking for a beautiful, rustic barn for your wedding/reception- Pretty Prairie is exactly what you are looking for. Our wedding day was PERFECT with the help of the venue and the owners, Todd and Jill! We live in Florida currently, but Urbana is my hometown so we decided to get married in my dream venue, and one that is very close to my heart. Our out of town guests all made fun of my husband for getting married in Ohio - until they saw where we were getting married. They couldn't get over how beautiful it was! I encourage everyone to go check it out, you will not regret it!

Pretty Prairie Farm is a lovely rustic wedding venue in Urbana, OH. This gorgeous space was originally built in the 1840s and sits in the center of beautiful prairie fields. Upon stepping foot in this gorgeous Victorian home, you and your guests will feel as if you're stepping back in time. This pastoral venue features a uniquely shaped barn that has 12 sides. The barn boasts its original woodwork, which has been restored to its former glory and helps create a warm and pleasant atmosphere. With outdoor spaces ideal for a wedding ceremony, you and your future spouse will have the opportunity to recite your wedding vows surrounded by lush greenery and underneath a beautiful blue sky. Later, you can make your way to the barn as a married couple and join up to 300 of your friends and family for a night of dancing, dining, and joy. There are a number of spaces that are fantastic for taking group or couple photos that you will want to look back on time and time again. At Pretty Prairie Farm, you will work with a team of dedicated individuals who will strive to make your dream wedding come true. This is a premier location to host your nuptials and start a new chapter in your love story. A dedicated event planner will be available to help make your occasion one you will never forget. To say the venue and property is amazing and breathtaking, is an understate. It’s a beautiful setting and all of our guests were in awe as well. The barn was perfect and beautiful ...
for our rustic-chic wedding. However, there were some communication errors that occurred and I wish things would’ve gone smoother for the before wedding part. The owners are wonderful and they provide a Day-of coordinator which was wonderful and VERY helpful, we had Jennifer! I would recommend that you ask your coordinator before the day of, questions to clarify when you can go into the house and what to expect when you’re in there and if the owners will be leaving and they also have a cute dog there. When we arrived to the house it was 76 degrees in there and I did not want to sweat but the owner did not seem too concerned to turn down the AC until I asked about 3x or more. But overall it was a beautiful place and there are separate men’s area for them to get ready in.

We truly couldn't have asked for a better venue. The barn was absolutely BEAUTIFUL with the stringed lights inside. Plus, the dancing area was great for our small crowd. The doors ...
throughout the barn also helped with bringing in cool air for our early summer wedding. Although it rained on our special day, having the ceremony in the barn worked out perfectly. I hope someday I'll be able to return for someone else's wedding - just to see it one more time! :)
