se my mother was insistent, and I found Lisa from Pretty Stationery Shop who lived nearby in Queens. I was so happy I decided to be openminded, because I ended up buying all my paper goods from her. We got invitations, menu cards, the wedding programs, even itinerary pages for our out of town guests. And we got thank you cards as well. I love that she was able to work with us because we liked her style and wanted something a little different. And she helped us narrow down colors based on our venue (classic and vintage style) but wanted something updated and not gaudy. I loved how everything turned out and my mother was satisfied that it didn't break the bank. I wanted to write a review and didn't even realize until now that this is a best of the knot store, so you know she's good!

I sent her a Custom request and described how I had imagined our programs to be. We settled with the Double Happiness theme, but in a more modern color combination, and it turned out amazing! We couldn't be happier with the outcome!

From helping us choose a beautiful palette, to creating a custom design that we could call our own, it was soooo nice to be able to turn to her expertise. My husband, Sing and I were looking for classic, fun, and elegant invitations that incorporated the Double Happiness symbol and cherry blossoms with English and Chinese text for our traditional Chinese wedding. The invitations also had to be of good quality and affordable. Our wedding was in October and I found Lisa in July, after finding one of her designs on Etsy. I contacted Lisa via email and we set up a meeting to see her designs in person. Lisa showed us her invitations and worked with us to have an invitation set that was within our budget. Throughout the entire proofing process, Lisa was very accommodating to what we wanted. She listened to everything that I said and made everything possible for me. Lisa never said no to anything that we asked for. Our invitations were ready a few days earlier than expected. Our invitations were packaged nicely in boxes. The quality of her products that she used were amazing. The paper stock of the invitations and the RSVP cards were high quality. I also loved the quality of the red envelops. Our return address was beautifully printed in the back of our invitations. We received many compliments from our family and friends on our invitations. One thing that I will never forget was the time when I was looking for gold foil address labels and had no idea where to look for them, after not finding them at Staples. I emailed Lisa and she emailed me back with a store name, address, and number. There were many times when I was not sure about something and when I went to Lisa for advice, she was always there to answer my questions and always had time for me. Lisa is a great designer, kind, generous, and has a passion for helping people celebrate their joyous occasions.
