ir held up all night even with all the dancing. She is super sweet and is very easy to talk to. She even made sure the tiaras we all had to wear didn’t pull too much and give us headaches. I definitely ran into a few doors and walls due to my lack of spacial awareness and that tiara stuck in my hair like it’s life depended on it. 10 out of 10, I would recommend!

really happy with their looks and we had no problem sticking to our timeline. Leading up to the wedding; however, communication was pretty difficult between Brooke and Yolanda (owner). I had to spend a lot of time going back and forth with both (sending my address and looks multiple times, for instance) and had to personally create the schedule for hair and make-up. Getting confirmation of the booking and timeline was very last minute due to all of the back and forth, and it definitely added some extra stress on top of trying to plan everything else. Would still recommend Prima Donna since the day-of was very smooth, and that’s what really matters.

I consoled myself. But her services were so bad that the everyone took their makeup off after she did their make-up, which is what I hired her for. She did a pretty bad job even with the hair. If it was just me complaining about a service, I could have lived with it. When everyone started complaining about it around me during my wedding (including my mother) that it broke my heart. She took 3 hours of my wedding day just for everyone to redo their hair and makeup. It was a lot of damage done to my wedding. The girls who did their own make up and hair looked way nicer. I was so ashamed, that I couldn't ask my bridesmaids to pay for that service. Later after a week, I approached her with this situation. Forget any compensation back for the services, she didn't even think about apologizing once. She saw this happening on the wedding day itself, but didn't hesitate to overcharge after she saw the disaster. I understand you can't please everyone, but there must be something fundamentally wrong if everyone is unhappy, and if nothing else you owe us an apology.

I love that she is mobile and will come to you! I'd highly recommend her if you want to look beautiful and have less stress on your special day.

She arrived right on time and was finished by the time she said. We kept in contact leading up to the day so I found her very reliable and friendly. Yolanda is easy to get along with and was very responsive to my specific requests. I showed her a picture of my dream hairstyle and she had no problem creating the beautiful style. I get business is business, but keeping a deposit for less an 2 hours, with covid situations is just wrong! Messed up! Next time I don't pay my deposits so fast. Be careful, she's not a kind person.

She arrived on time (at 6:30 am !) and stayed for several hours to help touch up makeup after the ceremony and before the reception. She gave clear instructions on how to touch up the makeup after she was gone and left blotting papers as well. If nothing else, Yolanda teared up at the sight of the bride, which shows me that she really loves what she is doing. Hair and makeup for special events like this is truly her passion. he event and Brooke offered to be at our event for her. Brooke was so nice but we didn’t really know much about her style. I wish her involvement would have been more explained in the beginning so we could have done more research. We absolutely hated the makeup she did for the first two bridesmaids. She was given a picture for color inspiration for eyeshadow and took that as permission to lay everything on super thick. We got into drag queen territory and it took two other makeup artists, the bride’s makeup artist and a guest who happened to be an artist, to tone it down to acceptable. It seemed she just wanted to copy the picture rather than actually work with the face and skin tone of her client. She also got blue eyeshadow all over the first girl’s face and instead of cleaning and starting over, she just added more and more light powder to already very fair skinned girl. She looked like a ghost. For the last girl, it took a lot of supervision to get a result close to what we desired. Unfortunately we were doing everything for the set up ourselves and booked a makeup artist so we wouldn’t have to worry about getting ready. We didn’t have time to start over and supervise. I kind of expected someone to know how to match their client’s actual face with an inspiration. We had absolutely no problem with the separately booked artist who did the bride so I don’t think that’s unreasonable. She was super sweet though and we did eventually get a look we were ok with. I don’t think I’d ever use them again though.

n 2010 and 2018. Yolanda is our go-to hair and makeup stylist in my group of friends because she is so talented and personable. She is extremely organized and thorough; she arrives early and stays through the whole event to do touch-ups and hairstyles changes if desired. Yolanda is always very prepared; she can set up a trial run for hair and makeup to prepare for the event and has recommendations to make the wedding day go smoother. Yolanda does a great job listening to the hairstyle you desire and the amount of makeup that you feel comfortable with. Furthermore, I have rosacea so it was very important to me that I felt confident about my skin during these occasions, and she was so comforting and encouraging! I highly recommend Yolanda to everyone, she will make you look like a Disney princess on your special day!

She listened to everything I asked for and worked with me throughout the trial to get the exact look I wanted. She was so good that we ended hiring her for the entire wedding party and couldn't have been happier.
