immediately knew this was the direction to go. Their choice was perfect. The wedding was more beautiful than we could have imagined. Emily, Julia and their team made it happen from the elegantly laid tables to the exquisitely displayed dinner meal. They worked tirelessly to put their art to form. As beautiful as the dinner was displayed, it was just as amazingly delicious. Compliments from the wedding guests continue to pour in to us. Most went back for seconds, some even asked for recipes, and all wanted to know who did the catering! After selecting Primizie's, it was evident that Events by Emily was going to be our choice for day of coodinating vendor. How right we were to choose Emily! Even as Plan B was initiated due to the "blessing of the rain" that day at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, the compliments from the wedding guests declared it was "the best wedding ever"! Emily moved effortlessly through the entire evening making sure not only the wedding party but all the guests as well were having the time of their lives. Thank you Emily, Julia and your team for making our daughter's wedding one to remember. Your kindness, attention to detail and tremendous work ethic are what makes Primizie's and events by Emily the only choices for catering and coordinating!

I can't say enough good things about Emily Horvath- my planner alerted me to a few of the tricks caterers use to get more money from you and she was so open and honest about everything and helped me design a delicious menu around our budget. She gave me great advice on where I could skimp (e.g. plastic cups for an outdoor wedding vs. glass) and where I shouldn't (e.g. bar service), and she handled our rentals order for us as well without charging the overhead other vendors do. She was on top of it the whole time and talked to me for hours throughout the planning to make sure I understood and was happy with every detail since I wanted to get into details. I see other reviews saying she didn't get back to people- she is quite busy and I didn't experience this issue but I would say stick with it they are worth it. At the day of the event we even had her there pouring wine and serving and working hard- I couldn't believe it! I would say the catering and rentals she handled for us was one of the smoothest vendor parts of our wedding. Use Primizie you won't regret it!

choose a caterer from. First it took about 10 days to receive a price quote back. Not really a huge deal, but I had to follow up twice with them. Once I got the quote, I thought it looked great and was excited about the food options so I set up an evening to talk to Emily. Emily was supposed to call me at 7:00pm. She never called so I emailed her the next day asking to reschedule. She set up a time to talk for the following day during lunch time. So, I called her the next day and could immediately tell she was rushed and did not want to be on the phone. It was very loud in the background and I could tell she was moving around and not really paying much attention. I had to basically shout into the phone for her to hear me. Anyway, Emily was rude throughout the whole conversation. I told her our budget and she basically said that it was impossible to have a nice dinner on our budget. Emily also decided that dinner would HAVE to be at 5:30 in the evening - that it was IMPOSSIBLE to serve a wedding reception our size any later in the evening because they must start cleanup at 10:00pm. First, our wedding reception size is about 160 - not that big. Second, don't tell the potential customer when dinner will be, I will decide that, thanks. Our ceremony starts at 5:30 and the reception lasts until 11:00. Plenty of time to serve dinner and pretty much the standard wedding times. If you take nothing else away from this consider the fact that our wedding venue removed them from the preferred vendors list.

r wedding over the top! We wanted our food to stand out, and Primizie made that happen...our wedding was three weeks ago and we still have guests contacting us just to say how amazing the food was!! Primizie offered us so many great options that were all within or under our budget. They were also so great during the wedding. I didn't have to worry about a single thing because Emily and her team had it handled! I would HIGHLY recommend Primizie if you want unique, amazing food with exceptional customer service!!

. She knew exactly what needed to be done and took care of everything without hesitation. Emily was present, but in the background for the entire reception, so if we needed something she was within reach and she was able to keep an eye on everything. She had a very calming presence, which rubbed off on me and allowed me to enjoy the reception without having to worry about all the little things. The waitstaff was incredibly professional and treated my husband and I like celebrities - our "sweetheart" table was set with hors d'oeuvres that we missed during cocktail hour and as soon as we sat down for dinner they asked if we wanted something to drink from the bar. Top notch service across the board. I have nothing but good things to say about Emily and Primizie catering, and recommend their services without an ounce of doubt!

ur guests have not stopped talking about the delicious food. We feel really good about providing our guests something that everyone loved that we also tremendously enjoyed. Together, we dreamed up the perfect menu with help from their experience and existing items - combined with our twist on Texas meets Italy theme. Not only was the food heavenly, they provided stellar service with a smile. Emily went above and beyond and filled in some of the "gaps" that often arise between vendors, such as cake cutting and bringing items we needed for the reception. She was so hospitable and gracious with her service, meeting us at the reception site for a walk through and for a tasting at her business. I felt very comfortable with leaving this important day to her. The food was creative and unique, and delicious in every way. There was something for everyone as they provided vegan and gluten-free versions for our guests. I think everyone was happy, but no one more please than me. I think I found my favorite new dish and wish I could enjoy the meal they provided us over again! Thank you Emily and team!

could not agree more! The presentation of the food was gorgeous, and everything was delicious. The dinner was served family style, and the service was fantastic. They were also very accommodating of our need for several gluten free and dairy free meals. Amy was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process and was so on top of all the details. She even thought of garnishes for our signature drinks without me even having to ask. She did a great job helping us select the perfect menu for our cozy, fall wedding. I highly recommend Primizie!

My bride and groom still met with a few other caterers, but Amy and her team at Primizie were able to provide the food, service and quality my clients wanted and deserved for their wedding. They were so impressed, we hired Primizie to not only cater the wedding, but the rehearsal dinner as well. They were able to deliver a delicious, authentic Mexican dinner for the RD, and a Wild Game Texas dinner for the wedding, which everyone raved about. The food was absolutely delicious both nights, and the service from Amy and her team was beyond wonderful. I have always loved Primizie's food, but what really stood out for me at this wedding was the service. When I got busy with the rehearsal and was short-handed, Amy's team stepped in and helped decorate giant trees around the rehearsal dinner venue with paper lanterns and pom poms the bride had provided. You can imagine my surprise when I returned from the rehearsal to see what her team had accomplished, it really showed the character of not only Amy but her team as well. I really can't thank Amy and everyone at Primizie enough for having such a huge role in making my client's wedding memorable!

Primizie did a great job with our signature drinks and late night snacks - two "extras" that our guests loved! I highly suggest doing a late night pass that your guests will love after having danced the night away. Their prices are more than fair and their food tasted amazing!!!

, never batted an eye when I completely changed my mind on what kind of food we wanted, and gave me great advice on other aspects of the wedding. For our reception we decided to go with an Italian theme. The food was delicious and the service was superb! The stuffed mushrooms are a perfect appetizer and her lasagna is AMAZING. We have had more than one person tell us they loved it and kept going back for more. I personally loved how the food was hot and the chicken was moist and tasty- two things that often are difficult to do with such a big crowd! And last, but most important, the service was unbelievable. There were no long lines at the bar, the waiters refilled drinks, quickly collected finished dishes, and kept all the guest happy. As for us (the bride and groom), I don't think we ever had an empty drink in our hands!!  We cannot express how great it was working with Emily and truly appreciate the efforts she made to make our day so perfect! 

ompliments almost 3 months after the wedding. My only disappointment was that we were not informed of a $700 pick up fee from Marquee for the rentals. Imagine our surprise when we met our budget then received the final invoice a few days after the wedding with an enormous additional charge. $700 is a lot of money. Sadly, because of this we had to cut back on the honeymoon to cover this unexpected fee. For that amount we would of found another solution.

Emily. We wanted to do something different and special for our wedding, to really make it stand out from the others, so we went with a tv themed wedding! To bring such an exciting event to life, I knew we had to find a caterer who would not just consider us another wedding, but someone who would fall in love with our idea, and help add their special touches to it. And that's what Emily did for us. From the initial e-mail I sent her, to the day of our wedding, I would consider Emily a critical part of the success of our day. She was so kind when meeting with us initially, helping give us some rough ideas, and really getting into our idea, and bouncing ideas off of us. She presented so many different options for us to choose from, and helped not just compile a list of food to serve, but a cohesive and well thought out menu that I wish we could have every day of our lives. Trust me, if you can, you must try to get the fried Mac and Cheese. I will warn you though. Once you've had theirs, you will never be able to have anyone else's. It is THAT good. I am STILL getting e-mails from guests telling us how amazing those were. It's no surprise that there were none left at the end of the evening. Emily is such a sweet and fun person. When we had initially met with her, we had planned a menu for around 120, but we ended up cutting that number in half as we got closer to our special day. Was that an issue for her? Not at all! She helped make the necessary adjustments to our menu to better fit our new guest count. But it's not just the food that she helped fit into our menu. No, she took it 1 step further and even helped fit the drinks into our theme as well! That's just one other example of her going above and beyond the call of duty. And let me tell you, having 1 catering company who can not only provide amazing food and amazing people, but handle the bar as well? A huge plus indeed. I knew that with Emily working the event, there was nothing to worry about. If you are unsure of who to write to, then do yourself a favor and send Emily an e-mail. They will prepare one of the best meals you will ever have in Austin, and help make you realize that you too can be the envy of all of your friends when you serve them some of the best food they've ever had. Speaking of which, I may have to go e-mail her right now for our next event!

r seen so many clean plates going back to a kitchen at a wedding. They use the finest fresh ingredients, presentation is creative, and service at the wedding was awesome! They even went an extra step and the servers wore details to fit the vintage theme. Everything was perfect, and the guests raved about the food from start to finish!

w/ my husband and I and created a proposal that fit our personality. When we were uncertain about some of the food during our tasting, she tried some herself and we worked as a team to create the idea menu. Loved Loved working with them. 100% recommended!

at my husband and I expected for our menu and delivered and then some. He was very open to adjusting the menu, he was extremely friendly and attentive. I want Patrick to be my new BFF! The only negative was that because he's their sales person and not the chef, he wasn't there the day of our wedding. I would have loved to have seen him that night so I could thank him and he could have partied with us. What can I say, he seems like a fun guy! =) Not only was Patrick's service great but the entire staff was wonderful. They were super attentive at my wedding, making sure I always had a glass of water or anything else I needed. Actually they originally brought me wine but I told one waiter that I just wanted water for the night and he made sure the rest of the staff knew. They bussed tables fast and even my guests commented on how nice the staff was. Ok so the food? What is there to say but A-MAZ-ING!!! Everything was delicious and we got soooooo many compliments from our guests about how it wasn't "standard wedding food," that it was better than most restaurants and how unique it was. We had the butternut squash gnocchi instead of a standard mashed potato or rice side dish and it was the single most commented on item of the menu. People loved it and it could easily have been a main course, it was THAT GOOD! We had two professional chefs among our guests, one of whom cooks for a Michelin Star rated restaurant in San Francisco, and they were the first to remark about how great the food was. Finally, they send you off with a HUGE bag of food and a bottle of champagne. My husband and I both agree that one of our favorite memories of our wedding was actually back at the hotel when we laid all the food out and had a picnic from the leftovers. Completely made possible by Patrick and Primizie!!!

CIALLY the roasted root vegetables. We chose Primizie because of their all-star reputation, the delicious things we tried during our tasting, and because they use local, reponsibly-raised products whenever possible. It was probably the best wedding food I've ever had, and I was so caught in the moment I could barely even taste anything. The staff was also very good and friendly, and seemed to be very on top of everything. They are not the most affordable option in Austin (we also looked at Daggar's and really liked what they had to offer as well, and they are less expensive) but I do think, for what we wanted, we got the best. I highly recommend them.
