It was a beautiful setting. the staff was helpful and courteous and went out of their way to make the bride feel special.
Thank you Michelle , who coordinated it all and Lisa who ...
managed the dinner and was so kind to the bride!
We will remember this day forever!
The St. Regis Princeville was an absolute dream come true. Never in my life have I had such great customer service, the staff truly cares about your comfort and is on top of everyt...
hing you would ever want before you can even want or ask for it. The resort location is by far the best on the entire island with incredible views! Ashlee Haraguchi was our event planner and she was absolute gold. She went above and beyond what I expected and made sure our day was perfect, she is truly amazing at her job and I trusted that nothing was going to go wrong in her hands. Five star experience, five star resort, five star people. Thank you for helping to create the best day of my life.
I can't say enough about St. Regis Princeville - the service is truly 5 stars! If you have the funds or have been saving to splurge, I would highly recommend this place. From the m...
oment we got out of the car, checked into our room (with an incredible view), dinner at the Makena Terrace, pool & beach services, a relaxing lounge, tasty breakfast buffet, and unfortunately until we checked out, the service was top notch! They also offer nightly turn down service with yummy chocolates on the bed :) The staff was so genuinely friendly and took time to talk story with us. Food was amazing and our room was very nice and comfortable.
THE most amazing venue of beauty beyond description... Coupled with staff competency and grace that is rarely found these days. It was a wedding (hawaiian Traditional in this case...
), that will be remembered by all attending (50 ppl). Not the run-of-the-mill wedding experience!
Expensive, but a definite cut above the norm.
Sophisticated elegance in an incomparable paradise, with many customizable options available.
The St. Regis Princeville is obviously not a cheap location, but it was completely worth the cost for the beautiful location, exceptional service and good food. If we could do our...
wedding over again we would do it exactly the same and at the St. Regis! Their coordinator made sure our wedding day was worry-free and answered any questions we had. The staff who served at our reception were amazing, friendly and knowledgeable about Hawaii. Exceeded our expectations.
We booked our hotel in advance, partially using our SPG rewards points, as we were in Waikiki for our wedding. We've always wanted to stay at the resort, so it was our first choice...
. We booked a City view KING room, with the hopes of perhaps being upgraded.
When we arrived to the hotel, we spent 15 minutes waiting for someone to attend the front desk. Once we were assisted, we were told that we had a high floor suite (22?) with two double beds--not what we had in mind for our wedding week. The desk staffer insisted we go up to take a look, since there was a gift in the room (champagne and strawberries from a friend). Despite protesting that the room wasn't what we had specifically requested, we lugged all of our things up to the room, saw the champagne and strawberries (lovely!), as well as a large cot (??) and the two double beds. Then, as tired as we were, we had to run back downstairs to ask for another room, lugging the three suitcases and dress bag. We were then downgraded to a suite on the 12th floor.
Another couple attending our wedding told the front desk that they were travelling for the first time without their kids and they got a full water view upgrade....although they had the two double beds.
Our room wasn't particularly clean. There was an ugly smudge of something gross high up on the wall that I couldn't stand looking at, so I cleaned it myself. Other than that, the room was fine.
What upset me the most was the fact that on my wedding day, my parents and sister came over to help me get ready at 3 pm, and my room was not yet made up. I didn't have time to make it all up myself, so we cancelled doing photos in the room, since it wouldn't look good with all the bed linens crumpled up. As I ran to get my make up artist from the entrance, one maid was there, and I said "the room isn't made up! Today is my wedding day and family is on the way over!" She unapologetically asked if she could do anything for me, but it was too late. The next day, she asked "You got married yesterday, right?" I thought maybe she would do something nice for the room (towel doves? I don't know....) or congratulate us, but I guess she was just asking.
Other than that, the pool, amenities, and Rum Fire are lovely. We slept well, and the location couldn't be beat. I was upset about check in, the room downgrade, and the cleaning staff, but nothing could spoil our special evening.
====Note that after this review, we were contacted by the Sheraton for an apology. The Management said that my experiences would be used for training purposes. I was not offered any discounts or comps, just a request to give them another chance the next time I'm in Waikiki.
The St. Regis Princeville resort went above and beyond meeting and exceeding my expectations for my May destination wedding. The coordination from start to finish was effortless. ...
They made sure that every detail that was discussed during the planning was produced. It was a beautiful venue on a beautiful island. It was very stress free and I loved every minute of it.
We just got married on their Ni'ihau terrace which was perfect for about 100 guests. 60 seats are outdoors and the venue is great for moving the wedding just inside in case the we...
ather becomes unruly. The staff was very nice to us and everything went smoothly.
Such a beautiful resort! Absolutely love love love everything about it! So classy and just high class level property/location! Fabulous restaurant!
Loved everything about this hotel! Easy access to a private beach, great bar and restaurants. Food and drinks by the pool were a little pricey, but that's expected at at St. Regis....
Overall great place for a honeymoon or romantic vacation.
My Wedding and honeymoon was Spectacular, thanks to St.Regis me and my husband was left speecless and still is, they created a fairy tale wedding for us we could not even imagined ...
at a budget friendly price...
My husband and I had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely beautiful. We reserved the Nihau Room and the view was breathtaking. Our wedding banquet/wedding coordinator...
was very helpful and the hotel really worked with getting us the ambiance we wanted. I would recommend having your reception here!
The venue was beautiful. I got a location overlooking the ocean and Diamondhead. We were able to use the same ceremony location for casual lounging even after the ceremony.
