Printerette Press

We worked with Printerette for our July, 2017 wedding. They had been on our radar since seeing an invitation suite Catherine had designed for another Chicago wedding. I immediately fell in love with her whimsical illustrations and knew there wasn’t a better match out there. The process of working with Printerette was equally as perfect as they product they produced. Catherine designed a suite that married both formal and fun elements, such as illustrations of our ceremony and reception venues and oh so amazing flower petal paper (obsessed!). Catherine also designed many day of elements incorporating these components. Most importantly, a bar sign and matching cocktail napkins highlighting our grandfathers and their signature drinks. These very special pieces allowed them to be a part of the celebration in spirit (quite literally). We couldn’t have asked for a better vendor to bring this idea, among many others to life. Printerette, you rock!

Going into wedding planning, I was pretty overwhelemed about many of the day-to-day tasks - but really worried about the paper suite. I felt that this was the first look for our guests at what our wedding was going to be like, and wanted to make the right impression. I scoured the internet, magazines and instagram to find the perfect stationer to work with us - and I'm SO glad I found Printerette! From the beginning, working with Heidi was so easy and collaboriative. Heidi was incredibly honest, creative, and helped me create a suite that worked for our budget. Heidi helped me throughout the process by adding day of items, changing things to better fit our needs and reviewing items. She was so helpful! I adored working with Catherine. I felt that working with her was more of a partnership than anything else. Being in New York, I couldn't go to Printerette for a visit, so Catherine and I spoke on the phone and discussed my vision. I also shared photos with her and she completely nailed it! Every piece blew me away. When people ask me what my favorite part of wedding planning was, I tell them it was working with Heidi & Catherine at Printerette Press. The process was so fun and creative. I have recommended them countless times, and have gotten such positive feedback from our guests on everything from the invitations to the menus to the bar menu! We cannot recommend them enough! The BEST!!!! I've had friends work with Printerette for their own weddings and I've loved everything they've done, so we knew we'd go with them for our own invitations and day-of paper goods... and we're so happy we did! Everything turned out perfectly -- we received so many compliments and we were obsessed with all of it. Catherine and Heidi are so easy to work with, come up with gorgeous ideas and designs, are totally willing to iterate and make things feel true to you, and deliver stunning, unique, and perfect creations!!

I grew up with Catherine, and as soon as I got engaged I couldn’t wait to ask her to design our invitations. She blew me away by taking my very few requests (emerald green, copper foil, painterly) and creating the most stunning invitation that was exactly what I wanted, yet couldn’t articulate. We received so many compliments on our invitation suite, and everyone at Printerette was amazing to work with. Their work product is second to none - and they’re incredibly easy to communicate with, even over email since I live in California and didn’t have the opportunity to meet with them in person. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Printerette Press designed my wedding invitations and did an amazing job! They nailed the vibe I was going for and made the design process fun and painless. Since then, I love following them on Instagram and buying their greeting cards. Their artwork is always fresh and inspiring!

Printette created the wedding suite beyond my wildest dreams!!! Not only were Catherine and Heidi incredible to work with from the second I walked into their studio (with my entire family and dog in tow!) but their designs and creations were truly elevated and spectacular. So much so, they were even published with my wedding on Wedding Chicks! These innovative and unique designs truly set the precedent for our wedding weekend and set the stage for the aesthetic and quality we were aiming for. They quickly grasped my vision and took it to the next level while encompassing our personality, and perfectly encompassed our venue, the map of the city, and everything we wanted. Not to mention their Instagram feed is the most amazing, I am obsessed with all their cards and designs! I can't wait to work with them for future events!!

I came across Printerette Press in a few places - instagram, wedding blogs, etc. and was really drawn to their aesthetic. I reached out them to work on my wedding invitations and they responded quickly and were lovely to speak with. I told them my vision, which was really hard to communicate but they were very patient. I was anxious to see what Catherine and Heidi would come up with but the first round of review was perfect. I only had a few minor tweaks but they completely understood what we were going for. My favorite part about their work is that they have a strong personality and perspective but still make their work extremely personal to each client. All of my guests loved my invitations and it truly set the tone for our wedding. The quality of paper and printing was perfect. Most importantly, they were a pleasure to work with.

Custom wedding invitations made with such love!!! I had been following Printerette on social media for a while and was such a fan of the uniqueness of their work! Almost immediately after getting engaged, I knew I had to reach out and have Printerette design our invitations. The the personalization of her work, paired with my quirky style and love for small details, was exactly what I was going for.  Catherine got my vision immediately. I sent her some photos of our venue, pics of me and my fiance, described our color scheme, and the overall vibe I was going for, and her first draft was spot on. Catherine and Heidi were always available to answer my questions or concerns, or even to make some last minute changes. Wedding planning can sometimes feel like business, but Printerette always made it feel like I was just chatting with my super talented friends who were helping me out with my invitations!  After the invites went out, my mom told me her phone was ringing off the hook with people telling her how much they loved them. They had never seen anything like it! One guest even wrote on our RSVP card, "Your invitation made me smile!"  Printerette gives you such a personalized experience. They listen to what you are looking for and offer input when needed. They are so talented and creative, and a real treat to work with!

We had the pleasure of working with Catherine for our invitations and thank-you notes. As soon as our invitations were sent out, compliments began pouring in-- that our invites were classic but unique, beautiful, unlike anything our friends and family had ever seen. On top of our guests loving the invites, the work was high quality and we loved working with Catherine. She is super friendly and accommodating, and worked with us to make our invites exactly what we wanted. We worked with her from a distance and had no problems as she's very communicative. I would highly recommend Printerette to anyone!
