ed up with was far from the quality with expected. Along with her showing up under-dressed, she was awkward to work with, gave us no direction in posing or positioning, had very little suggestions for photos to take, and I felt like I had to take the lead on asking for certain photos to be taken. I ended up not having any solo bridal photos, was lacking a lot of specific shots, and there are photos I know we took that we never received. I also had to specifically grab her from our reception for golden hour photos. But honestly that’s not as bad as the MONTHS of followup it took to try to get our images back. And once we got them they were unedited and incredibly disappointing. My biggest regret is hiring Jen, the photos we have as a result of hiring her, and the anxiety and stress I still have 2+ years later when I think back on our wedding and the choice I made to hire her.

ped the ball from that point on. She verbally promised previews and we (unfortunately) trusted her. We didn’t see a single photo from our wedding for almost 3 months. We had a private ceremony so we had not a single photo even on a phone from our day. After panicking that she didn’t actually have our pictures, she did send the unedited album. We are 8 months out from our wedding and still don’t have our completed edits. She has been unwilling to communicate, has told us deadlines and then repeatedly not kept them, and has now stopped answering us. In the beginning process she cited personal reasons and we were very understanding, but now realize we were completely taken advantage of. By far the worst and most stressful part of our wedding process has been working with Jennifer.
I truly wish I could leave a positive review, but my experience with Prism Concepts was frustrating and disappointing.

dding, she was unreliable, almost canceling our engagement shoot last minute despite knowing we were traveling from out of state. After the wedding, her lack of responsiveness was unacceptable. I followed up multiple times over several days regarding our sneak peek photos and received no response. Eventually, I became concerned when I noticed her old website was down and she had received multiple 1-star reviews since we booked her. Only after I texted, called, and requested all raw photos (out of fear that she had ghosted us) did she finally respond—claiming personal matters. While I completely understand that life happens, a simple message acknowledging the delay would have been appreciated. Instead, I was left in the dark, repeatedly following up.
Unkept Promises & Delays: She assured me we would receive our photos by a certain date, only to miss the deadline again. After yet another follow-up, she mentioned she had undergone a medical procedure—which, again, I would have been understanding of had she communicated it upfront instead of making empty promises. Finally, after more delays and multiple check-ins, she sent our raw photos late at night. It is now March, and my wedding was in October, I have yet to see a single edited photo – still waiting on a response from her (I have reached out over 48 hours ago).
Lack of Professionalism & Direction: Throughout the wedding day, she did not come across as personable or engaged. Several guests and family members commented that she seemed to be not want to be there rather than blending into the joy of the day. Additionally, she did not provide much direction for posing, despite me sending inspiration photos. As a bride, I had a million things on my mind and expected my photographer to take the lead—especially when it came to ensuring I had key moments captured. Unfortunately, I have very few photos with my parents and bridesmaids at the reception, which could have easily been remedied had she taken initiative.
Pros:
The raw photos themselves were fine, though I wish my vision had been followed more closely.
The price was competitive, and we received a good discount.
Overall, while the raw photos may have turned out okay, the stress, poor communication, and lack of professionalism throughout the process made this an incredibly frustrating experience. I would not recommend Prism Concepts to future brides looking for a reliable and engaged photographer. I hope I get to see my edited photos soon.

Never got the “sneak peak” that was promised in the contract. Said she would send us our unedited photos 3 separate times and yet still haven’t seen them. When we did finally receive our album, the pictures appear to have all been edited using the same filter. Everyone's skin is overly smoothed, and birthmarks on my face and my husbands face have been removed entirely, something I did not ask for and would never have asked for. Despite my otherwise joyous wedding, I do not enjoy looking at my wedding pictures.

We were pretty overwhelmed with wedding stuff so when it came to what kind of photos we wanted we just said "we trust you" and she took the reigns and did her thing. Well after receiving the photos back we couldnt have been more thrilled with how our even was captured. Between all of the portraits and event photos, which are incredible, she also took lots of great detail shots showing all of the decor and venue, which really is great because our family worked very hard to make it all, and that is something we were really happy to see captured. Every photo in the collection (of which there were many) was beautifully captured and thoughtfully framed without being cheesy or over styled. They are timeless heirlooms we will cherish for the rest of our lives!

When we met she immediately put me at ease for everything to do with the pictures. She constantly told me what she was doing, where she was in the picture timeline. ate to say how disappointed we were in this service for our wedding. When a friend offers to edit the printed picture that was sent to us as part of our package from the photographer, you know that's bad. I just figured we had to deal with the poor quality of the print they sent us and my friend told me that he could fix up their mistakes without a problem! That's a shame we had to reach out to someone else. We went with an affordable photographer because it is an expensive service, and we got what we paid for (it still wasn't cheap). We had some beautiful spaces to take pictures and they apparently did not have the skills to utilize what was naturally provided for them. We have not one decent picture of our entire bridal party. Literally several of our attendants heads are blocked by each other because they didn't take the time to reposition people.When I shared my disappointment with them regarding the outcome of our photos they barely offered anything to make the situation better. They edited a few things (which should have been done in the first place without my guidance) and that was it. I suppose it would be difficult to turn heads around in photos, or go back in time to position people the right way. Don't waste your money!! I was impressed by what I saw on their website and so sad at the product we received. I researched many many photographers..I wish I would have researched further!

While at the wedding and reception I did not even notice her taking pictures and I was able to just enjoy my day.
