ance of her services. She was unaware of couple arrangements (and mixed them up), and did not follow the timeline we created. I felt so stressed that I wasn't sure how to even address this, and I was annoyed that she was unaware of the basic wedding information a day before our wedding. On the day of the wedding, I found out that she did not get in contact at all with our DJ. So all of our song selections were out of order or messed up! I was so disappointed that the ceremony songs I selected were either not played or used for others (my entrance song was used for the bridal party instead!). Later, my husband and I had to talk to the DJ ourselves to straighten the confusion on the day of our wedding (literally minutes before the start of the reception) as to avoid songs being mixed up again. I am glad we did, because he had all the wrong songs! This resulted in several entrance songs to be missing (my parents and in-laws wedding songs specifically were completely removed due to her mistake), this was not only frustrating for myself, but my family and bridal party too. Additionally, she left during the middle of the reception without saying a word to anyone in my bridal party. We still had several reception activities planned (that she did not notify the DJ of), like the garter and bouquet toss, which again left me and husband to plan out those activities. And as a result, some of the cultural traditional dances were left out, which was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Many of my vendors told me that she often confused names or important times, so I still received emails or calls from other vendors to verify times and locations or straighten out names. I feel like she was minimally supportive and helpful, and definitely not worth her services. As a bride, I was stressed out and extremely disappointed and could not recommend her services at all.

When I brought these concerns to her attention after the wedding, she was unapologetic and blamed my family for the things which she should have taken care of. During the whole wedding planning process, she did not listen to what I was saying/my vision and I had to repeat myself multiple times which caused me to lose trust in her company. Overall, as a bride, I would not recommend using her services.

the bride, thanks to her. We are not very traditional as far as Indian weddings go and Priti did a great job of reflecting that in her planning and ensuring all of our needs were met. The sangeet/mehndi combo night was absolutely perfect and had a great reflection of my Indian roots and my husband’s Jamaican heritage. It was so nice not having to worry about this event at all because I knew Priti had it covered. On my wedding day, Priti and Avani were literal lifesavers and helped put out any fires before I was even aware of them. I loved the itinerary she made, even if it wasn’t closely followed, but she helped us get back on track and ensured that all the major things still got done. Everything turned out perfectly thanks to Priti and I simply got to enjoy my wedding and have the best day because I knew she had my back! I would definitely recommend that every bride should get a planner/coordinator and that planner/coordinater should be Priti Sweet Weddings!

Cocktails started with guests drinking, eating and playing roulette and blackjack. A caricature artist drew single portraits of the 300 guests at Chicago’s River East Center! Guests danced the night away and took home personalized card decks as favors. Priti and her team did a great job making sure guests were taken care of, both families and we were fed. During the evening reception, they visited all the tables and asked guests if they needed anything and would fulfill there dinner requests. They have the longest most detailed wedding itinerary I have ever seen! Our wedding itinerary was 5 pages long and included all the details needed. They created a separate itinerary (shorter version) for my bridal party and the vendors as well. PSW provides unlimited communication and they know the importance of communciation in making an event successful. Priti was very reliable, trustworthy and hard working. I can tell she is passionate about what she does and I highly recommend her!

Priti sent a note in March saying any couple wanting to rebook would simply see PSW services moved to the new date so long as there was availability and there would be no rebooking fees. Priti then jumped right in helping us contact vendors, organize their new availability and dates, sifting through the options and ultimately finding new vendors for the ones that we can no longer work with. It's been a life, and sanity, saver for sure! Do yourselves a favor and make the easiest decision ever to ensure your entire wedding planning process happens smoothly! Wish I could give 10 stars!
