meeting you and having a chance to talk with you. Matt and I, as well as our guests have marveled repeatedly about how your flawless service was truly the highlight of our stay. Everyone enjoyed your warm and friendly attitude as well as the fabulous food that you prepared for us. It was truly exceptional! Please let us know if you ever need a recommendation. I'm sure you have many offers for recommendations, but just keep it in mind in case you need another.
I'd also like to take a moment to thank you for referring Dana to bake the cake for us. The cupcakes turned out delicious and we received wonderful feedback about those as well. It was also very convenient that Dana was able to drop them off on they day of the wedding, and that she was able to pull it off at the last minute for us. We couldn't be more grateful!

*** John prepared Hawaiian Marlin Ceviche in lettuce cups as an appetizer, and for the entree he prepared fresh Waialua asparagus, wild mushrooms, fontina thyme potato torte, and a choice of grilled ahi tuna with a mango butter sauce, or grilled tri-tip with a spicy chimichurri sauce. He also prepared a beautiful grilled portobello mushroom entree for our vegetarian daughter. The meal was exquisite and our guests are still raving about it. John used only the freshest and highest quality ingredients, and the ahi that he prepared was caught by the groom just a couple of days before the wedding. John was flexible and his creativity and professionalism was outstanding. John was very friendly and easy to work with. If we visit Oahu's North Shore again, we will be sure to hire John to prepare one or more meals for our party.
John recommended a baker that he works with regularly, Dana, who prepared some delicious coconut pineapple cupcakes for our wedding. Dana really bailed us out when I mistakenly thought I could use one of the local bakeries to make a wedding cake. Don't make that mistake! There are NO bakeries in the North Shore that can pull off a wedding cake. Dana delivered the scrumptious cupcakes right to the beach rental house where we got married and topped off our wonderful dinner. The cupcakes were gorgeous with huge golden tipped coconut flakes on the top - rivaling anything you would see on Cupcake Wars or any of those baking television competitions.
Our wedding size was 19 guests. Everything was served hot, plated, and in a timely fashion. John cleaned everything up afterwards and left a few leftovers that we enjoyed the next day! It was truly perfect. I'd recommend John and Dana both for anyone who wants to skip the lame caterers who try and rip you off. John and Dana both provided absolutely EXCEPTIONAL service and their prices were more than fair for the work they provided. We were thrilled!
