Music Selection We concocted a spotify playlist for rick and he used those songs as well as the specific songs we selected for different parts of the reception "bouquet toss" "first dance" etc. All of the music was well selected by Rick to fill the gaps and keep the party moving. As you can clearly see from the pictures attached we all had a blast. Thank you Rick. You're the man!

Throughout the planning process, he created this document for my wife and I to fill out together, and we could see how putting in effort for the document prevented us from stressing about the wedding down the road. For our open dance set, he was incredible at mixing all of our favorite songs and got our wedding guests dancing all night long, just as we envisioned. He creates a timeline that catches all the little details that make a big difference. He was a great MC. He has a great voice, great style, awesome energy. The music was right on point. I never heard something I cringed too. He also will do exactly what is important to you. For example, I didn't want the music to stop or for the cake cutting to be announced. That's a dancefloor killer. AND I wanted only 2 designated people to give speeches. And he was instructed that if anyone tried to take the mic, to tackle them! lol I got what I wanted, only 2! We also got his photo booth. The neat part about that is I can't believe how many of my guests took pictures without gluing a copy in the photo book for me! But no worries, because Rick sent me a digital copy of every picture taken. The schedule moved forward smoothly. He worked great with my coordinator. The dance floor was always packed. And my dancefloor monogram was perfect! There were NO technical issues, no timing issues, and his lighting made my reception room magic! I can't imagine a wedding without Rick. g when the venue got canceled! In less than 24 hours, we made a beautiful backyard wedding happen, and our DJ Rick stuck with us and really made the night special. As you can imagine, this really meant a lot to us, as we had enough stress on us already. Rick was super supportive and understanding throughout all the changes. On the day of the wedding, he showed up to the new location on time, set up in the best spot, brought his uplighting, which really made the backyard and house look awesome, and most importantly, he played some awesome music! In the months leading up to our wedding, Rick had a great program he used to make sure he would be able to play all the music we wanted. When we had to change plans again last minute, he took on even more duties as he really in a way became my Day of Coordinator as well as our DJ. Everyone was so impressed with his kindness and his ability to help us have an amazing time. We really couldn't have asked for a nicer dude to DJ our crazy wedding!

The photo booth was a big hit, and the additional LED lighting beautifully accentuated the reception space. The wedding went off without a hitch, and Rick helped make sure everything stayed on track and on time. Rick has done this a million times and it shows. His prices are also hard to beat. Highly recommend.

We were able to share it with all appropriate parties once it was finalized: our bridal and groom parties, day-of-coordinator, photographer, etc. and it really helped to have everyone on the same page. On the day of, our ceremony went without a hitch; the coordination and quality of the songs/microphones was unparalleled. Rick moved the party right along through cocktail hour, our grand entrance (where each pair had a unique entry song), and finally our reception; there was never a dull moment on the dance floor! Meanwhile, our guests were able to enjoy the photobooth he provided, and that was a hit as well. DJ Rick made everything look easy, but in reality I know that he spent hours of careful planning and set up to ensure that everything was perfect for us on our special day. For that, I cannot thank him enough. Like the other reviews say, do yourself a favor and reach out to him if you’re looking for the most qualified DJ/emcee. I highly recommend him and would love to work with him again. 5 well-deserved stars!

one job... And thank goodness I found Rick and Pro City DJ! Rick MC'eed and DJ'ed my now wife and my wedding a couple weeks ago and he did a phenomenal job. Ok, actually I do know where to start. Let me first start off by saying that if you have a wedding near the Temecula, SD, OC, Riverside area, hire Rick and Pro City DJ. Also get his Photobooth package too, it makes it easy on you. I believe I first contacted Rick 8-10 months prior to the wedding date. He was super helpful and spoke to me on the phone for about an hour or two going over what typically happens in the next couple of months and how the day is planned out. He also prepared an awesome 6-10 page Google Document with an outline of things that you and your fiance will work on for the next couple of months. Things such as timing of events, songs to certain parts of the wedding, etc. It's very detailed. In fact, our wedding venue coordinator and our other vendors (videographer, photographer, etc) just went off of what the document Rick and I had made since it was so comprehensive. Rick was also super chill about any last minute changes. I had planned a fun sing-along for my fiance during the wedding a week before the wedding and we were able to get everyone to serenade my wife. Also, my mom had snuck a couple of raffle tickets into the gift boxes and so we had a random raffle giveaway towards the end of the wedding which was literally last minute but Rick somehow made it super fun and even had raffle music playing. As for the dance floor, there was only 1-2 dull moments and it was anticipated. We had thrown in 1-2 non-dance songs in there that our the favorite songs of my wife's 5 year old nephew and 3 year old niece. Those two little kiddos had a blast, as did we since they were having fun, but it did kill the dance floor. Again this was anticipated. I mean, one of the songs was Intergalactic by the Beastie Boys. That said, we didn't tell Rick which songs they were but it seemed like he knew already. As soon as those songs finished, he knew exactly what to play afterwards to get everyone back to dancing. Almost everyone stayed until the end of the wedding since they were having such as great time and this is mostly due to Rick's awesome DJing. With regards to what package we purchased, we got 5.5 hours of DJ/MCing with ceremony and reception parts. Also got the photobooth which prints out 3 picture strips. Rick brings an attendant to help and also a table of props! You also get full resolution pictures sent via email after the wedding which is nice! We also got uplights which were pretty cool and made the ambience of the night so much better. Lastly, if none of the above is enough to persuade you to hire this amazing person, you should hire him just because he is and will be your biggest cheerleader throughout this process. During every single conversation and email, Rick will constantly remind you that you are doing a great job and that things are going well. If not, he'll gently nudge you along. It was such a nice feeling having Rick, who we know has been through a ton of weddings, remind you that things are going well. Even during the wedding day when my wife and I were incredibly tired, he kept telling us how great things were going and it was really reassuring to hear.
